Part of my job is to teach our clients how to login and make updates within Kentico. I like that you do not have to be a developer to edit content, add blog posts, move pages, etc. Kentico is very easy to learn. I also like the reporting you can create in Kentico to easily keep track of form fills. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I sometimes have issues with the Impersonate feature on Kentico. It is definitely not immune to weird random buggy issues as we make updates as well. It usually pretty straightforward to fix though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We use this CMS for our production web site. We choose this instead of other (such as sharepoint) for several factor: is in .NET; is not expensive; we really appreciate the staging feature. As a developer we use this CMS as base for our web site, than we develop pages, widget and modules tailored for our needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Perforamnce are not the best, expecially when the applicati in starts. We use the web applicatioion version, and everytime after a compile action, the web site take a couple of minutes to show the first page. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like how easy it is to create web parts and change pieces of a page at a time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's not exactly user friendly. Could definitely use helpful tips near every actionable item instead of having to go to a whole different site and sift through categories to get some answers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It gets the job done. Once trained, I can navigate the CMS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's really clunky. The steps I need to take to create content is terrible, and it has no memory as to what I was just working on. For example, when I add a feature article to a folder and need to link back to an article I just worked on, it doesn't remember my last task and I have to go through all the folders again to find it and link it. Kentico is a very intuitive system with an easy to use navigation to the CMS and EMS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's quite a bulky platform and there seem to be a lot of "dead areas" of use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Kentico combines both stability and out-of-the-box functionality with openness for customization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Contact mgmt for multi-site is a little difficult to streamline Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
With minimal technical abilities, can set up a pretty nice website, full of features, notifications, links to videos, whitepapers, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not a fan of help documentation. Too cumbersome to follow for a newbie. Had to get a separate training before being able to follow steps in the docs, and even then, with so many features and configurations, it's difficult. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
