I like that it allows to easily create new pages and to design them by adding and moving modules on the pages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes it is hard to figure out where various pieces of your page live. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Used Kentico Xperience for the past 4 years and I simply love the intuitive design and the fact that most plugins are readily available to access at any point of time. The integration with webdevlopment coding platforms is also great. We can easily export a project into Visual Studio and continue with complex scripts Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't see anything to complain about Kentico Xperince Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Feature rich when compared to competitors. All features in one package, instead of having to buy 3 solutions from 3 vendors and attempt to orchestrate them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The interface is pretty clunky for end users when updating content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The functionality of this system is pretty good and it has great potential to be able to do more - email marketing, lead scoring, customer profiling etc. It’s easy to move things about and find what you’re looking for. Once you get to grips with it, I think it's a really good system and once we get more involved with the additional features, will be a great asset. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We have the MVC version which doesn’t have a lot of the features it promises and requires extensive development to implement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The platform is easy to manage. I like the ability to updated pages and the ability to create widgets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I am not a fan of Visual Studio for Microsoft. I would like to have a CMS platform that can be build with Adobe Dreamweaver or CODA instead of having to be a .net developer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Was powerful and easy to customize. Could create corporate sites that was easy to use by content users. Created multiple regional and international sites on the same brand. Created custom user portals that allowed partners to integrate into our site. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Since the dot net changes, they have chosen to completely outsource the modules so that it no longer has basic functionality. Since any functional modules are not official and from different groups, we cannot utilize it due to internal policies. Each individual is considered a separate vendor. Instead of having a robust core to build off of, we now must build our own modules that are no longer in the off the shelf framework. Since we have to build a new framework from scratch we are looking at other frameworks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It works! The interface allows you to move around efficiently. It is easy for content editors to use. It is fast. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Lack of bulk utilities, like bulk deletion of pages, bulk inserting of files etc...
Sometimes the interface gets hung up with all the windows that can open up during an insert or edit phase.
Also, the naming convention in the UI is odd. Sometimes you have to Save an item and then it a button called Cancel to close the window. That seems counter productive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ease at which our developers can build and add onto the website designs, with widgets, web parts, integration with 3rd party solutions, and more, which allows us to build a stable and creative looking website for all our stakeholders to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We have older versions of Kentico, like 8,10 and 11 0 that is no longer supported by yourselves. Not all companies can upgrade their Kentico version easily, so the lack of support for a customer who has been loyal for some time is a little disappointing. I understand your strategy, is to "encourage" people to use your current versions, but for the in-between times where it is either impossible or unachievable to do so, a 'little' support would go along way, especially when convincing upper management to stick with your solution due to solid customer support - no matter what version your stakeholder is using.
I guess saying all the above, we have stuck with you - as we have multiple websites Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Support has always been excellent and timely. They have been making strides in getting things adjusted to a more robust MVC setup and of course the integration with existing Microsoft technologies is a plus. There are not many CMS to choose from that are built on the .Net framework. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
They are in a middle of a transition period from classic web forms to MVC. There are numerous areas that had to be left behind or rebuilt to accommodate the MVC approach that were just given in the web forms classic approach. We have had to modify our process of site / page creation to match and that has led to longer development time. Before our non-technical staff could manage 90+% of the items they needed, they have to rely on us more now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
