I like that Keka brings all HR functions into one organised platform. The dashboard is easy to navigate, and features like attendance, leave management, payroll insights, and performance tracking are very convenient. It reduces manual work, helps maintain accurate employee records, and makes everyday HR tasks smoother and faster. The mobile app is also helpful for quick approvals and updates.

At times, the system lags or shows errors, especially during month-end processes.

Keka helps streamline and automate daily HR operations, reducing a lot of manual effort. Tasks like attendance tracking, leave management, payroll processing, and employee data updates are handled smoothly in one platform. This saves time, minimizes errors, and improves accuracy across HR activities. The system also makes it easier to manage performance reviews, track employee information, and generate reports whenever needed. Overall, it improves efficiency, keeps processes transparent, and helps me focus more on employee support rather than administrative work.

User-friendly and easy to operate, this solution is also straightforward to implement. The team is supportive and responsive when it comes to resolving queries.

The helpdesk team’s contact number is not reachable. Only the support team can call the vendors, and we are not able to call them directly.

Keka’s support team is now actively working. Earlier, they weren’t, but now they are responsive and actively helping.

Time Saving App during salary time & as and when required.

**What do you dislike about Keka?**

If an employee takes leave & did not apply for leave, then notification should be there for HR.
Unpaid leave should get deducted automatically, no verification such as LOP should be required and no need to apply unpaid leave during probation.

**What problems is Keka solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Yes, most of the time Keka is resolving the issue, but in past few days AI generated answers are idiotic.
Local & International Expense Query which was raised by me on 9 April is still unresolved & un responded.

**What do you like best about Keka?**

I really like Keka's self-service experience, where I can easily check my attendance, download payslips, and raise leave requests without needing HR's involvement. It also shows me my remaining leave balance, which reduces confusion and saves time. The features maintain clarity and trust between employees and the employer, and having leave balance and attendance history all in one place minimizes the back and forth communication, making the HR workflow much easier. Plus, the user experience of Keka is better than what we experienced with our previous platform, GreytHR. The initial setup was pretty easy too.

**What do you dislike about Keka?**

I face a bit of a problem with responsiveness; it's very hard to use on small devices like mobile or tablet devices.

**What problems is Keka solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Keka to manage payroll, attendance, goals, and leave requests. It eliminates manual work, keeps HR processes transparent, and offers self-service for attendance, payslips, and leave management, reducing confusion and saving time. It supports clarity and trust and eases HR workflow.

Easy to understand and use. It’s convenient for handling most Indian payroll activities.

As per our organization’s requirement, we need to have the same person set up as an employee in one legal entity and as a consultant in another legal entity. This isn’t possible in Keka because it restricts duplicate PAN and Aadhaar details for the same individual.

**What problems is Keka solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keka has saved us hours of manual work and reduced the need for validating payroll data. It has also made attendance tracking, tax calculations, and leave-balance reporting much easier.

Furthermore, the mobile app would benefit from enhancements that bring it closer to the desktop site's capabilities, as certain administrative tasks remain challenging to perform without resorting to a browser.

Keka has been instrumental in addressing the challenges of fragmented and time-consuming HR administration. Previously, we faced difficulties with manual attendance tracking, separate systems for payroll, and leave requests that relied on paperwork. With Keka, all our HR data is now centralized, which has resulted in significant benefits. Our HR team saves more than 15 hours of administrative work each week, payroll errors have been eliminated, and employees now have immediate access to their own information, greatly reducing the number of queries we receive.

Keka provides and excellent all-in-one HR and payroll platform that is intuitive and easy to use. The UI is clean, navigation is straightforward and mose HR tasks like attendance tracking, leave management, payroll processing and employee self-service can be handled with minimal training. The automation around payroll and compliance significantly reduces manual effort and errors, which is a big plus for growing companies. I'm using it on a daily basis at my workplace.

While Keka is feature full, some advanced customization-especially aroud reports and workflows can feel limited without support intervention. occasionally, during peak payroll periods, performance can slow down slightly. Also, deeper integration may require additional configduration effort.

I use Keka primarily for payroll, leaves, and HR compliance, including asset tracking. I find Keka efficiently handles payroll and asset tracking, which is a big plus. The feel and use of the portal is quite good, making it pleasant to work with. Additionally, the response from the support team is good, which adds to the overall positive experience. Setting up Keka was easy for us, and given the current functionality, everything is well and good to go. I'd definitely recommend it, giving it a 10 out of 10.

I really appreciate how quick and easy Keka makes compressing and extracting files. I prefer tools that work seamlessly without unnecessary complications, and Keka definitely meets that standard. The drag-and-drop feature is particularly convenient when I need to manage several files at once—it saves me a lot of time. Additionally, since it’s open-source, I feel good about supporting a tool that is both practical and community-driven.

**What do you dislike about Keka?**

In my opinion, the interface is functional but could benefit from a visual update. Its minimalist design has its advantages, which I appreciate, but at times it comes across as somewhat basic or even a bit outdated when compared to more modern applications. I’ve also heard from others that the software can sometimes have trouble handling very large files or certain archive formats, although I personally haven’t encountered many problems in this area.

Keka has been a great solution for several everyday file-related issues I encounter. First, it allows me to open a wide range of compressed file formats, such as ZIP, RAR, and 7z, which I often receive from others. Without Keka, some of these files simply wouldn’t open, but with it, I can access any file type without hassle.

Another advantage is how Keka makes it easy to compress large files. When I need to send big files, I can use Keka to combine and shrink them into a single, smaller archive, making sharing much quicker and more convenient.

Security is also important to me, and Keka lets me add passwords to files I want to protect. This feature helps ensure that my private or sensitive documents remain secure.

I also appreciate how straightforward Keka is to use. I can just drag and drop files onto the app, and it quickly compresses or extracts them, saving me time and effort.

Finally, Keka is lightweight and fast, so it doesn’t slow down my computer. My system continues to run smoothly even while I’m working with large files. Overall, Keka makes managing compressed files simple, efficient, and secure.

I like the attendance and leave management features the most. It is very easy to check daily attendance, working hours, and missed punches. The regularize feature is also very helpful because employees can quickly correct their attendance if they forget to punch in or out.

The leave system is simple and clear. We can easily apply for leave, check leave balance, and see approval status without confusion. Overall, it saves time and makes HR processes smooth.

**What do you dislike about Keka?**

One area that could be improved is support for companies that offer flexible working hours while still requiring 8.5 effective hours per day. At the moment, there isn’t a clear way for employees to see exactly when they have completed their 8.5 effective working hours.

It would be very helpful if the system could display an expected logout time calculated from the daily required hours. Having this visible would make it easier for employees to manage their time and plan their day.

Keka helps us manage attendance, leave, and regularization in one place. Earlier, tracking working hours and leave balances meant manual follow-ups and spreadsheets. Now, everything feels automated and transparent.

The attendance system makes it easy to track daily working hours and identify missed punches. The regularization feature lets employees fix attendance issues quickly, without needing HR to step in every time. The leave management system is also straightforward, making it simple to apply for leave, get approvals, and keep track of leave balances.

I really like the look and feel of Keka. It's way better than my previous experience with HRMS, where the screen moved unexpectedly. Keka’s interface makes it very easy to use. I also appreciate how easy it is to apply for leaves and check if my coworkers are on leave, which streamlines the process. Submitting my resignation was also a breeze, thanks to its user-friendly design. I find it helpful to check which department an employee is in, making it easier for me to navigate. I particularly enjoy the color coordination, which adds to the simplicity and ease of use. Plus, both the desktop and mobile versions of Keka perform well, which I appreciate.

I use it as a employee so there was no such feature that was not working for me

I really like the integration with our attendance tracking device and how it can fetch data on a real-time basis. Syncing attendance data from our biometric devices instantly reduces manual work and improves accuracy, which also helps ease payroll processing. The initial setup was very easy.

Sometimes the system takes more time to sync the data and reports need to be more customizable. It should allow flexible filters and custom date ranges.

to much manual. eg. when changing manager or department every field needs to be changed manually, ideally it should be like this when we change department then it must ask for change in manager or vice versa. other eg. we cannot penalize any employee if we want we have to wait for system to act as per policy, but sometime it is to be option on organization whether they want to penalize employee or not.

From a manager’s perspective, it improves visibility and control. I can quickly see who has submitted what, for which dates/shifts, and whether anything overlaps or looks off. It also streamlines approvals because everything is captured in one workflow with a clear record, so I’m not chasing people for details or trying to reconcile requests later. Net-net: less admin work, fewer misses, and a cleaner, more transparent process for the team.
