I love that we can take a dream experience we want someone to have and create that with automation in the campaign builder. The newer addition in text messaging capabilities has been huge as many of our clients would come to us for support in developing text message campaigns and we found ourselves hitting walls trying to find suitable 3rd party options that were within budget for clients. I use Wordpress and X themes with Infusionsoft plugins to integrate Calendly, Google Calendar, Gmail and Keap all together to produce a smooth easy opt in process for prospects. Keap makes this so easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I loved the 6th Division presentation. The concept of "Automatic" vs "Automated" really resinated with me. Taking a deeper dive at our customer journey and making it "automatic" is a major goal of ours in 2022. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Most of the presentations were geared around entrepreneurs. I would have liked to see more advanced Keap campaigns broken down. We use it in a company that has 700 employees and have been using it for a few years now, things like how to clean up contact records, how to avoid over tagging, things like that. Keap helps keep our contact list organized and updated. Their marketing campaign capabilities are some of the best I've seen, along with the tagging system. Putting our marketing on autopilot saves us time and headaches. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
If you do any kind of e-commerce, Keap is lacking. You really need third-party platforms to compete. I also have had issues with Keap not recognizing duplicate contacts, which can be a mess when trying to segment lists based on tags. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best part about Keap is the pipeline and the automations. I love that my clients get email and text reminders about our appointments. The pipeline itself is super user-friendly and allows drag-and-drop, which is great for my neurodivergent brain.

I wish keap could use my normal phone number. Also the time zones don't switch automatically with daylight savings. Also, I had an issue where the automated reminders were telling people the wrong date. That may just be a bug.
I wish the appointment setting were easier - its kind of annoying that i can't send someone a calendar link and i have to go in to the site every time depending on how long the appointment is. So my clients can never pick the length of an appointment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Max Classic has a very flexible system. The campaign builder is mainly a drag-and-drop whiteboard. It can perform simple and easy tasks or highly complex processes. You can track engagement, you can manage access to products and services, you can follow through, you can manage subscriptions and single payments, track all the CRM data, etc., etc., etc.
It can start very simple and straightforward, but it is designed to layer and cover nearly anything where automation is needed.

Getting the logic connected properly and running smoothly can be tricky with some processes. Because KEAP Max Classic can do very robust and complicated tasks, and very personalized, it can get sticky and problematic.
Make sure that you invest in training. Take the time to learn the platform. Start simple and layer on top. Have a master plan drawn out and prioritize your build.
Once you build a campaign, test it! Make sure it works as desired or you can make a very complicated mess to diagnose and fix. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I found automation flows confusing at first. When tags get applied, when they're used as triggers, how to make sure people aren't being triggered into too many campaigns simultaneously, etc. But it really is powerful to be able to put so much automation in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes it's challenging to find a support person who understands what it is that I'm looking for. However, in the past year or so, I feel like this has gotten a lot better, and I now have a dedicated rep I can speak with as well. The affiliate program leaves something to be desired as it uses confusing language, so there's a steeper learning curve than I think needs to be, but there are tutorials as well for learning how to use their referral/affiliate section... The transfer did not correctly pre-populate the phone and email fields into KEAP from our prior CRM, but we did not fully realize this until the old software was removed. Now we have over 500 client files to fix (update) from old paper files before we can attempt any mass campaign.
The cost per seat for my 3-5 seats is prohibitive when we must manually check and change every clients' profile in KEAP. What a rough start. Costly labour to redo Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
