Easy to use and fast tool. It took little time to setup (from an accounting standpoint) and works on all platforms (mobile, windows & mac). Since it's cloud-based, works from everywhere I go. The mobile app doesn't yet support businesses which have multiple currency transactions. This is something they're aware of and are working on. I've been using this for 9 years, new features are far between. I wish there were more external integrations, as well as a visual editor to produce custom styled invoices. I had no previous bookkeeping experience but Kashoo has been very easy to use without a big learning curve. The online help chat is always available and everyone is very helpful. I compared a lot of different accounting software before I selected Kashoo. It was (and remains) clearly more affordable than any of the others that offered all the particular requirements I needed. Even though i am a small business, I need to handle a range of international currencies, and apply the correct sales tax for the country I am operating from. I am also not an accountant, so needed a programme that was highly intuitive. What was a massive bonus was that I also found really useful and responsive service. While it doesn't meet all my exact accounting needs, there is little I really dislike. It meets 90% of my needs directly, and the team have helped me with practical work-arounds for the rest! The only downside of Kashoo, and it's well acknowledged that this is not a feature of the platform, would be to allow quotations that *could* be turned into invoices if a project succeeds. While not an official part of the platform, I have created invoices on Kashoo, then they can just not be paid or marked as a quotation for work. I haven't run across anything that the help desk could not fix. So far so good. I would love to if I had more choices in looks for my invoice, but it's the best out there, and I can always make my own in html if I get time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The fact that Kashoo is able to link to my business bank account and get all entries sync'ed perfectly is a life save. I am now constatnt in the know about business's financial health and file tax at ease with balance sheet, P/L generated easily by Kashoo. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are a few things I dislike, such as: the project not having an option to show up on an invoice. Not being able to manage my WSIB account, for example, when I enter subcontractor bills, it would be nice to be able to allocate all or part of any given bill towards insurable which I have to put a percentage towards WSIB, including my own income as a sole propriator. I can’t seem to figure out how to view projects on my mobile app. It would be great if I could split up an income

Amount Into progress payments which come due at different times. It would also be nice if you had a logo cropping, sizing and placement option built into the software like quick books does. The price and the fact that it allows for 2 entry accounting. Most other apps at this price point are purely a cash basis of accounting. It also allows for a detailed audit trail of journal entries, which is great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's buggy - the IOS app doesn't even work. The banking downloads are unreliable. I am a person on the go so it'd be nice to be able to access my accounting records on the go. The user capabilities are a bit limited. It'd be nice if I could give a user access only to our invoicing module and not all of our financial information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
