For several years, Kai Analytics has supported ACCJC’s annual reporting and annual fiscal reporting processes. They help ACCJC collect complex data from surveys of over 130 of our member institutions on an annual basis. Kai Analytics then transforms this work into visual data dashboards that are responsive, intuitive, and dynamic. These data dashboards have transformed the way ACCJC is able to track and analyze its data across years, regions, institution type, and so many other variables.

Most recently, Kai Analytics has worked with us on three major projects related to the main ACCJC website. First, they have helped us integrate ACCJC’s new Salesforce-based CRM/database into the website. Second, they have created an updated institutional directory, which includes embedded Power BI data dashboards as well as connects and pulls data points and other resources directly from Salesforce to the website. Finally, they have provided extensive web design and development to refresh and update ACCJC’s WordPress-based website. The website refresh included significant updates to the ACCJC homepage, global design elements integrated across the website, and plug-in research and buildout for a resource library with custom design elements. This updated institutional directory supports ACCJC’s mission to increase transparency in our accreditation processes and to provide clear and transparent data on its member institutions for use by institutions, students, the public, and other partners. We have partnered with Kai Analytics to administer and analyze our employee engagement surveys the past few years. Most recent partnership was in March-May 2025. Each time, Kai Analytics provided exceptional service in accomplishing our requested deliverables that included communication templates, survey distribution, data analysis, generating insightful reports and debriefing with our senior leadership. It's hard to say because I don't know what use cases others may be considering, but for those who are trying to elicit a small number of main points from a large number of survey comments (like we did), I would just say that you need to be reasonable in your expectations. A single main point or theme can't perfectly encapsulate hundreds or perhaps even thousands of open-ended responses, but it can give you a good sense of the foremost underlying sentiments that are embedded in the data. We are working on a college-wide project that depends heavily on student input. Kai Analytics helped us distill over 1700 student comments into a handful of manageable and actionable themes, and they did it very quickly to help us meet a tight deadline (less than a week).
