The platform looks really nice and onboarding is relatively easy. Their new reporting insights are helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Their customer support has gone severely downhill over the past year. They consistently do not read questions thoroughly, address us by the wrong company name, misspell admin names, and show a general lack of care. They also continue to force software changes that are barely functional with no proper lead time to implement the change with our team.
Their time tracking service is clearly white-labeled and the support groups do not communicate well with one another. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Processing payroll is straight forward and the website is easy to navigate. I wanted to like this company so badly, but after years of bad customer service and little account support, I am beyond frustrated. This poor experience has detracted from any positives of the software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The deadlines for processing payroll, especially with holiday weekends causes chaos for us. Our previous payroll processer allowed us to report payroll the day before employees got paid. Now with Justworks, we have to report by either the Monday before payday, or if its a holiday weekend, the friday before, so a full week before employees get paid. We have staff that work late on Fridays, but on a holiday weekend, we must process payroll by 2 pm. Our options are to guess their hours or pay them off-cycle, which is inconvenient at best, and causes increase expenses for us at worst.
The PTO system is terrible, hard to use, and often inaccurate.
Their taxing system for commission employees is confusing and often wrong. Many of my commission based employees have experienced major issues with their withholdings, having either too little or too much taken out. This causes continual issues and headaches. Justworks support never helps.
Additionally, our staff received what were supposed to be tax free bonuses from our State, but Justwork's software did not have a way for us to disburse the bonuses without taxing them. This caused a huge (and understandable) uproar among the staff.
We have also had major issues with their 401K setup.
Finally, their customer service and account managment is flat out terrible. Any time you contact support it feels like you are talking to a chat bot or a poorly trained employee. Rarely is support able to resolve our issues for us.
After three years using this software / PEO, I would not recommend them to anyone. Period. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Justworks is an excellent resource to me as an employee. I appreciate the simple and easy-to-navigate layout where I can find everything I need quickly. My benefits information, tax documents, paystubs and other pertinent items are all in one place and accessible on all of my devices.
