Both models and router and switch, has a very simple scalability and way of use, allowing the user / administrator to enjoy the numerous possibilities in their use, whether using routing protocols, or as a simple switch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Juniper Services?

Great equipment that we can use as router edge and switch, where their chassis offer us numerous ways to use.

Particularly we use the mx5-t router as the edge router and the ex2200 model as the switch, where we serve many clients like this switch model. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Juniper Services?

Particularly the ex 2200 model, because of the lack of so many optical interfaces, it would be of great value to have more optical interfaces. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"iBGP and eBGP with Juniper"

I am currently using Juniper from the MX80 line, to establish BGP session with clients and with my upstream. My entire network is based on Juniper and I have never had a problem at the routing level, which is the current MX80 function in my network Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Juniper Services?

I like the ease of using routing protocols, and how Juniper's CLI helps me find routing-related issues. I can configure various types of services and analyze all without any difficulty Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Juniper Services?

I did not like the amount of 10Gbps ports it has on the MX80 line. I think a router of that capacity should have more 10Gbps ports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Juniper Services:

Invest in a Juniper router with the highest number of high-capacity ports, to avoid problems when need to increase the network. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Juniper Services solving and how is that benefiting you?

"Juniper as Edge Router"

Describe the project or task Juniper Services helped with:

We use Juniper as the edge router in our backbone using MPLS services, BGP Transit and Dedicated Circuits. Its performance is highly unstable. We have never had problems with this equipment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Juniper Services?

I really like the way the juniper operating system operates on routing. In addition to the logic to perform some settings making them simple to do so. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Juniper Services?

In my opinion, I think some configurations are more complex to perform on your CLI compared to other vendors like: Cisco. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Juniper Services:

I recommend networking professionals always view the JNCIA-junos certification vouchers, where we get vouchers for proof. This is a great gift from Juniper Networks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Very reliable Router with excellent native resources"

We use Juniper Routers on our backbone to be equipment with interlinks to our International uplink provider. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Juniper Services?

The Juniper router has an excellent range of resources and a great resilience. Very ease to setup, and very easy to configure after deployment. The incredible number of native resources makes this router one of the bests to work with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Juniper Services?

Unfortunately when needed to be rebooted or is affected by a power outage, it takes a long time to complete the booting sequence. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I implemented OSPF segmenting in areas and soon after i was able to run all MPLS mesh. Finally, implemented MP-BGP to all the junipers in my network and guarantee the functionality of my L2VPN and L3VPN clients in perfect condition Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
