**What do you like best about June Analytics?**

What I love about June is how easy it is to use, even if you’re not a “data person.” The interface is clean, simple, and really intuitive, so you can start finding insights without spending hours learning the tool. It makes understanding our product metrics feel straightforward, and I don’t have to rely on a data team just to get the basics. The out of the box report were very easy to set up as well. Not to mention their customer support and how the owner is always happy to help out if you have any questions about the data flow.

**What do you dislike about June Analytics?**

Nothing that comes to mind. Whenever issues were raised the June team was pretty quick at responding and fixing bugs.

It brought a fresh approach to analytics, helping our Customer Success team gain deeper insights into how clients are engaging with our product.

**What do you like best about June Analytics?**

Everything from beginning to end is outstanding. Incredibly intuitive set up process with guided steps. The ability to easily create our own events to track and then the way those insights are presented is incredible. The user level granularity is exceptional. Whether it is an organization account or individual, you can very quickly get intimate with your customers to see and understand their behavours in your application. Kudos to the team for what is an outstanding product.

**What do you dislike about June Analytics?**

I honestly can't think of a single one. Just good all round.

**What problems is June Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed to better understand user behaviour within our app. Things like feature usage and regularity of use. Importantly, attrition is now better understood. We've already started making changes to our product based on the insights we received.  Overall, our aim is more paying customers and ensuring they continue using our problem. What June provides us is very compelling and helps make us feel more in control of our destiny. Where before we had to guess and hypothesize, now we can know with certainty EXACT behaviours.

**What do you like best about June Analytics?**

In a sector where most players are clunky and hard to understand, June brings a refreshing, upbeat approach to B2B analytics that makes it easy for even a non-technical person to setup product analytics for their SaaS product. I'm a big fan of their UI/UX, product craft, and stellar customer support. June.so is my go-to choice for product analytics from now on!

**What do you dislike about June Analytics?**

As an early stage company, June might be missing a few features compared its more established competitors. However I expect this gap will be reduced soon.

I'm a non-technical, product/design minded person. Analytics software is usually complex and hard to navigate, but June makes it all so easy.

**What do you like best about June Analytics?**

* Ease of setup: We used both Segment and manual tracking integrations. But that isn't the whole story - we tried Mixpanel et al and the pain comes from getting the dashboard setup to show the most relevent metrics and feature adoption. June made this basically two clicks - any time we send a new event it also asks us if we want to turn this into a new feature - means we don't have to keep going in and creating new widgets/panels like in other tools. 

* Company level metrics: Other tools targeted towards SaaS focus heavily on user per user metrics which is useful but not the full picture for us, company level data is much more important and again having this work straight out of the box without having to send 'grouping' keys and then creating special reports based on those groups is a life saver.

* Slack Alerts: Simple yet underreated - two clicks to setup, so when a customer does something we want to know about, we are alerted straight away and can reachout.

* Analytics: The actual analytics are better then most tools out there. You can tell the team spent a lot of time on UX with these - everytime you think about 'oh i want to cut the data this way' - there's normally a button right htere that will allow you to do that.

* Customer support is 10/10: A lot of tools have either email support / or none at all - but June is super responsive and always happy to help.

**What do you dislike about June Analytics?**

Nothing at the moment, we initially thought the price would be inhibitive but have got much higher ROI then we expected from the tool (we check it multiple times a day).

Only other thing could be some more homescreen customisation, but not a big deal.

**What problems is June Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As an early stage SaaS company we need to be shipping fast and building features that deliver value to our customers, but without product analytics we're pretty much flying blind. 

From a product standpoint we needed to know what features our customers were using, which were being underused (and maybe could be removed) so that we know we're focusing on the right problems.

From a sales + CS side, it's about knowing whether or not a customer is activated, and how we can best help them suceed.

June has been a godsend in helping out on both of these areas. Mainly because a lot of the other tools require hours and hours of setup and maintenance, which we don't need with June.

It's extremely useful data about how customers are using the product. It's very intuitive, easy to understand. They have things pretty set up out of the box. Great user experience. Great customer support.

**What do you dislike about June Analytics?**

They keep some features displayed prominently but locked and only unlockable when you upload to growth or pro. I would rather just not see the features that I don't have access to at all.

Since we set up June, I can finally understand what’s happening with our product. That was never the case with Mixpanel (too complex). The team has done a phenomenal job keeping the main thing the main thing.

**What do you like best about June Analytics?**

June Analytics is like our own microscope for understanding our customers. It's speedy, user-friendly, and it gives us a comprehensive interface to understand customer interactions.

Every week I dive into its depths, exploring the ebb and usage of our customer base over the course of days/week/months. Previously, we needed a dedicated role to wrangle this beast of customer data. But with June, it's as if the beast has been tamed.

The ease of evaluating the return on our investment is akin to a breath of fresh air... Shelling out $150 a month for June Analytics is, without a doubt, some of the smartest money we've ever spent.

**What do you dislike about June Analytics?**

Not much that I can think of right now. Also, the team behind it has a commendable ear for concerns and suggestions and are very fast in making changes/righting the ship.

**What problems is June Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'd say 2 main things:

Firstly, it unscrambles the customer retention conundrum. With June, it's not about merely glancing at numbers; it's about understanding the story behind the statistics. The daily, weekly, and monthly analysis allows us to track our customer trends over time. We're now able to pinpoint precisely when and why customers stick around or choose to leave.

Secondly, the tool helps us break down our customer base into manageable chunks for comparison. This function used to require a dedicated person on our team. June Analytics, though, efficiently performs this task, saving us time and resources.

**What do you like best about June Analytics?**

June's most amazing feature is the ease of use and how you don't need to spend hours configuring it yourself or be a product analytics expert to get value out of it. I loved how I was able to just plug in our data and automated reports and dashboards started showing usable and truly actionable information.

I also love how easy it is, for each metric shown, to drill down and get to the actual customers included in the metric, which allows you to go from the macro to the micro really quickly and verify your hypothesis or reach out to actual customers and see their behaviors not just in aggregate.

**What do you dislike about June Analytics?**

While June's ease of use and minimal configuration are a plus if you are inexperienced with analytics, sometimes it feels as if it's not as customizable as some other solutions out there.

June tracks all the product analytics for my SaaS company. It allows me to see the most used and loved features in my application.

**What do you like best about June Analytics?**

Such a powerful product. Within a week of getting it setup, we were already learning insights about our customers we never had — onboarding preferences, which types of customers were best retained, and where we should be spending our marketing dollars to get the most successful customer outcomes. 

The done-for-you reports are all pretty powerful — usually these types of templated systems feel overly rigid, but June has definitely found the balance between simplicity & value. We set up a dashboard within our first week & check it each week to get a benchmark of how our product is performing with different users & cohorts. 

The team is also incredibly responsive — they release new features quickly & respond to customer emails within minutes. Easily one of my favorite companies to interact with.

**What do you dislike about June Analytics?**

Sometimes there's a bit of rigidity in certain reports (i.e. when you need very custom filters) but overall, I've been pretty impressed. Anything that's not already in the June product today, I'm p confident will be added soon.

it gives us insights into retention very quickly. on top of that, we get so slice and dice the data like we want to.

so my weekly routine is to look at daily, weekly and monthly retention. comparing cohorts is very easy. this is something we've needed a dedicated data analyst in previous companies. 

so you can easily calculate the return on invest. best $150/mo we spend.

honestly they're very responsive to feedback, so usually things get resolved quickly should i dislike something.

however the daily user report could load faster.

mostly figuring out user needs. we often use june to find users to ask specific questions to. 

so lets say we're building a new feature, we'll find users who actively use similar features. or the inverse: people who never adopted something.

June is a fantastic product analytics tool, it changed the way we approach data analysis. Setting it up is super easy and immediately provides great reports out of the box.

June focuses on the key metrics that truly matter to our business, cutting through the noise and allowing us to make better decisions faster. And it's understandable by anyone in our team, even our sales and CSM teams are using it to identify our power users.
It's also very efficient to follow cohorts and see how the behaviour of our users changes while we improve the products.

Overall, June helps us build a better product by iterating and getting quantitative feedback in a short loop.

**What do you dislike about June Analytics?**

Nothing much, the team so far has been really listening to feedback and is evolving the product accordingly. If anything needs improvements, we reach the support and get an updated version in a matter of days.

**What do you like best about June Analytics?**

June has one of the best set of defaults I've ever seen in a product. Off the mark, they gave me everything I needed to understand how my users were using my product and where they were encountering friction.

June has guided me to understand my user acquisition, activation, retention, and, most critically, churn, which has highly informed my product strategy.

I was also able to understand, through June, who my most active and power users were and reach out to them for extremely valuable feedback.

I've been able to customize and build reports as needed. Through June's provided reports, templates, and education baked into the product, I've improved my knowledge of product management.

As a solo, bootstrapped founder with limited resources and time, June has saved an incredible amount of time and energy. The team behind June continually ship new updates, are incredibly responsive to any query, and produce excellent content around the best practices in product analytics.

**What do you dislike about June Analytics?**

Previously I found some minor abilities missing in filtering and reporting, however, the June team has continually pushed updates addressing these gaps I found, so any issue I've had has not been long-lasting.

June has completely addressed my product analytics requirements, and using their auto-generated reports, I've spent essentially no time on setup. June gave me everything I needed to understand my user acquisition, activation, retention, and churn.

At the beginning, I thought it was odd how the main dashboard isn't editable. But I soon realized why. June has been developed to be so intuitive and informative that they already know the most important metrics that companies need. It is really easy to use that I can only wonder how much thought was put into UX. Great work

The pricing model can be quite steep for startups. Hopefully there will be a program to support startups!

I love how easy it is to use June.so. The platform is very intuitive, making it easy to get started even for those who have never used a product analytics tool before. I also appreciate the clean and user-friendly interface, which makes it easy to navigate and find what you need. The templates are excellent, and the ability to organize reports with tags has made a huge difference in keeping our team organized.

I’d like to see more integrations with other tools that we use, such as FullStory.

The feature analysis report enabled us to measure the adoption of a feature in a couple of clicks. By connecting this report to Slack we’ve improved our workflow and team efficiency. This way we spend less time on our data tools.

The product automatically generates key product analyses for me. I don’t need to think about what to measure and how to measure it. June figured out what matters the most for our business. 

The smart default set up works well, especially if I don’t have time to edit my reports. 
The product is overall very simple to use, and I know I can trust it too.

**What do you dislike about June Analytics?**

I’m currently missing a more advanced audience filtering that combines AND/OR logic into some sort of drawers. I mentioned that feedback to the team who shared they are aware of this limitation and want to pick this topic soon.

We’re using June to understand what users’ do. It sounds basic, but even with other analytics in place we still didn’t have a clue about it.

One of the best things about June is that it is a platform that can be used by our entire team, not just the product manager. This has enabled us to get everyone on board with our data-driven approach, and ensures that everyone has access to the insights they need to do their job effectively. We appreciate the intuitive interface and the ability to easily customize reports and dashboards to fit our specific needs.

I’d like to see more customization options for the Home. While the current options are great, it would be helpful to be able to customize the layout further to suit some of our team's very specific needs.

June is super simple and intuitive and it's 100% focused on showing you the data that are really giving you insights about your product. I've tried other solutions in the past like Mixpanel and we have always struggled to adopt them due to their complexity. June solved that and the entire team is now using it.

They could add more templates and a few integrations, but overall this is actually working very well for our use case.

We just launched a new SaaS product and we are looking into the early usage from users to understand what's working or not working - we send June all our data and we have been able to constantly improve the retention of our active users simply looking at what they do.

If you use Segment, June takes seconds to setup.
Most of the dashboards you need are already there when you start using the tool (DAU, retention, feature performance).
The team is very reactive and always adding new clever features.
I use June every day.

June seems to be optimized for b2b companies. As a consumer company not collecting emails, I sometimes feel like I use 20% of the prodct (and it's already very valuable!).

**What do you like best about June Analytics?**

June Analytics is like one of those multi-tools 🧰 🛠 : compact, easy to use, and impressive in its capabilities! 

The various templates are great to start with and allow customization to dig deeper and segment if you want to know more. And starting is a breeze with the Segment integration. 

There's reporting on both user and company level for e.g. retention and activation. For us as a B2B SaaS company that's useful and powerful. The UI is fresh, modern, and pretty: looking at graphs and reports is a pleasure. The Slack integration is straightforward and helpful to democratize data in the team(s). 

I'm very impressed with the team behind June: the product keeps improving with many new releases, and they're super open to feedback. For example: I'm a bit of a serial report-creator and one of my painpoints was too keep overview of 100's of reports in the UI. The team at June was open to this feedback, suggested a work-around, and introduced labels to, well, label reports. Bravo! 👏

**What do you dislike about June Analytics?**

There's nothing about the core functionality I dislike. But obviously, as a relatively young product, there are functionalities missing for our use case. Mostly thinking about integrations with other products to close the (workflow) gaps between Product and Sales and Success. But then again: perhaps we're trying to do too much with June.

Product performance tracking in general. Identify power users and companies. Determine what drives activation. Share understandable graphs with teams. Validate hypothesis and generate ideas for new ones.

Super simple and super clear. Built by people who know how to do product analytics.

**What do you dislike about June Analytics?**

That it was pushing us to use Segment.

We ended up doing a custom set-up (with js) and are super happy.

They have created the reports, dashboards, and overall tracking of our product. Note that this is NOT even slightly comparable with Google Analytics, because GA is related to presentational websites, while June -> for products.

Plug and run. For early-stage founders and startups, nothing better than June to know exactly what's happening in their product. As a former founder and growth lead, I wish I had June 'back in my days' to spend less time wrangling anlytics' setups and more time actioning the data!

No drawbacks really. This is the most straightforward and comprehensive tool I recommend to all of my portfolio companies. It's good for the team. It's great for the investors, and it's a win-win for startups everywhere!

We love the prebuilt reports feature. It's a quick way to understand how users are interacting with our product. We were happy how easy it was to integrate and get started with June. 

We also love the slack notifications feature and use it extensively.

**What do you dislike about June Analytics?**

Nothing in particular other than occasional glitches with reports not saving the new query. In the future, we would like some form of SQL like querying capability for the event data.

June is solving the problem of quickly understanding how our users interact with our product. In particular, we benefit from knowing how frequently and in what way our users are using our product.

We love the ability to receive real-time notifications for the most important actions that users take in our product. This has enabled us to stay on top of our product usage and identify potential issues as they arise, enabling us to respond quickly and provide a better user experience.

It would be helpful to be able to set up notifications for more specific events and actions filters. Or have several notifications for the same track events (the team told me this was in progress).

**What do you like best about June Analytics?**

First of all, I love how June popularizes our data. The interface is so simple, and templates are intuitive; everyone in the team (designers,  developers, business people, ..)  understands what is happening in our software.  It's also easy for everyone to take control of our data and create their own templates and funnels. In addition, I like that some general statistics appear in the app, enabling us to evaluate our retention rate, for instance. We can easily observe where there might be room for improvement.

**What do you dislike about June Analytics?**

Nothing at the moment, it can be seen as an additional data analytics tool in the eyes of others teammates, but it makes your life so much easier than traditional tools.

As mentioned, Data are more accessible for everyone because of the intuitive UX and UI and is easily readable. I do not lose time explaining what should be improved and interpreting data for everyone.

June is the simplest analytics tool I've ever used, and its simplicity is what makes it one of the most effective and powerful. Instead of a blank slate that you have to build & customize yourself, June presents you with an opinionated set of metrics that matter for your business, so you can focus on generating learnings and on building your product.

**What do you dislike about June Analytics?**

There isn't much I don't like, but when we started to use it, the only way to collect events was via Segment, with which I have a bit of a love/hate relationship. That said, they now provide their own SDK

**What problems is June Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't want to spend time building dashboards, I want to spend time understanding where to focus our product development efforts, and June does that magnificently. On top of that, I love the Slack<>June integration which enables notification when certain events are triggered - we use it so much!

June is easy to use. It has a good set of pre-built product analytics templates for B2B SaaS, and it is intuitive to create new ones. 
Furthermore, the team is always available to try to make the best use of their solution and listen to suggestions for new features to introduce.
Bonus: even if I'm not a developer, it was easy to plug June on top of my customer data platform (Segment).

Nothing at the moment on the core of the June product. It would be great in the future to have insights that are also actionable and/or facilitate integrations with 3rd parties to do it.

June Analytics makes product usage data more accessible within my organization. In particular, it is helping to activate new B2B customers.

June is fantastic. It plugs into Segment nicely and adheres to the spec well. It allows you to create reports providing high-level product insights quickly. Each report is tailor-made and includes additional metrics and useful charts. Beyond product insights, it provides some very nice capabilities for customer success teams in the form of milestones. 

The team at June is also extremely helpful, providing swift support when required.

**What do you dislike about June Analytics?**

Nothing so far; the product has served us well. It could be a pain if you haven't set up proper Segment events. However, this can be said for any analytics product. Additionally, June provides a lot of helpful content about instrumenting applications for product insights.

We use June to aid with data-led decision-making, unblocking customers, increasing activation, and getting a general overview of the health of our product among users.

**What do you like best about June Analytics?**

I like that the product has strong opinions on how to look at what my users do. It has a bunch of really nice details such as removing weekends from the graph. Weekends are always down for us since our customers are B2B, but simply don’t make sense.

I also really like the possibility to zoom into data points. For instance I can click on a graph to understand who are the users/companies behind it. Then click again to open a single user/company profile. It lets me trace down any metrics, and tie it to actual profiles.

**What do you dislike about June Analytics?**

Product is full of gems and sometimes I feel like I’m missing some guidance to unlock the next pocket of value the product can offer.

June is saving us so much time to get basic analytics set up.

**What do you like best about June Analytics?**

The product lets us put our product usage data at the center of our org in no time. 
By adding a line of code to our app we’ve been able to capture product usage data and make sense of it. By using the Hubspot integration, we’ve been able to empower the Customer Success and Sales teams.

CS can see if an account is stuck at a specific milestone of the product, and can follow up accordingly. They’re also informed if an account is at risk.

The Sales team gets notified when there is an upsell opportunity. They also received qualification attributes from June.

We can't create email notifications yet.

June creates the core product metrics we need, and distributes them - including at a company level - within our org.

It's super easy to integrate June with Segment and immediately get insights on product usage, without having to do much configuration and write any queries. The data seems super trustworthy.

**What do you like best about June Analytics?**

June makes a topic that is typically very hard super simple. Getting to know the health of a company is just a matter of logging in. Without setting up anything you'll get: active users, retention, power users and new signups. Then of course you can customise the setup by picking specific events but having something since the first session is just 🤩
Support in intercom is also insanely quick and kind, don't hesitate to ask them something!

**What do you dislike about June Analytics?**

I feel like I'm not enough into analytics to find the limitation of the tool. So for now nothing really. It's just a pity that they're deeply integrated only with Slack and not with Discord :(

June helped the companies I've worked with to focus only on a few metrics. Before I used to see founders creating complex dashboards with many many charts that in the end didn't really help the company focus on the right things. So this is a big plus for me

We use their activation and retention reports to guide our product roadmap. Since we started using June, we've found gaps and significantly improved our signup-to-paid conversion rate.

When we started using the product one year ago, there were a lot of limitations in terms of flexibility. The team was very responsive to addressing those limits and built some of the needed features, like more advanced funnels.

It helped us understand and improve our activation and retention. The insights they have in the product answer the common sense questions you should know the answer to when building a product. June is thought for a B2B SaaS like us. It comes with out of the box account level metrics, ex: company level retention. Or B2B relevant concepts like accounts activation and expansion. When we pass this information to our CRM it becomes very powerful.

We currently have multiple sources of data with the same event names, and June does not distinguish yet in their UI.

Easy & complete  retention charts. I have no idea how I'd set that (or any of the other charts) on my own. 


Also the retention chart has cohort lines on it for free. 

These help me understand if my retention and my product improve over time. 


I also love the insights to read charts, and what actions to take. 

Benchmarks are super useful too.

I cannot connect screen recording to certain activities and users.
