Judgify allows our awards show entrants to directly submit their projects and for judges to review them without having to go through anyone on the awards show team. This is great because it reduces the time we have to spend on this event (and we're volunteers), reduces the chance for errors, and allows for everything to be consolidated into one platform. Very helpful - much easier to use than our previous platforms at organizing judging for awards shows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't always feel that the price reflects the services received, and there are often extra fees in addtion to the fee we pay originally (like fees for transactions or batch downloads). It's also not very intuitive, and even though I appreciate the multiple tutorials available, it's not always easy to understand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As an organization that has historically relied on simple forms and manual building of judging packs and score tabulation, we needed a tool that would both simplify the process as well as present in a more professional manner. Judgify ticked all the boxes. The platform allowed for complete customization of the process, allowing us to create a seamless professional experience for our entrants, internal reviewers and judges while drastically reducing our overhead expenditures. The team at judgify was quick to get us up and running and respond to inquiries. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only slight issue we ran into.. we a small number of the system emails end up in a junk folder. But this was a minimal distruption that would quickly resolved Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The adaptability of Judgify's platform has enabled us to build out our contest infrastructure to make it easy on entrants and virtual judges when participating in our annual contest.
The submission forms are flexible - and we have enjoyed being able to design them thoughtfully to include different kinds of responses. The data collected in the submission forms is very easy to pull from the Judgify back end in order to analyze participation. On the other side, the judging framework is very simple, and the ease of building out scorecards from scratch is something we appreciate. There are very few barriers to participation for people who are not especially familiar with technology because the login and use for judges is so easy for them.
This is the fifth time we will have used Judgify for our annual initiative for middle schoolers because it fits our needs so well.
It is easy enough to use not only for our virtual volunteer judges, but also for our student entrants who can fill out the forms and upload submissions easily enough with or without the help of a teacher.
We appreciate that we have had great service from the team at Judgify over the years as well. Every time we have had a question, concern, or needed help with something we could not adjust, there has been a timely solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
If anything, sometimes some of the hover hints on Judgify could be made slightly more clear to explain features that can be adjusted. An example that comes to mind is on the judging round page, where it lets you adjust the 'judging round overall score.' It took some time using the platform to understand some of the adjustments that you can make.
But that being said, once you learn how the platform functions, it's great to be able to make so many decisions about the functionality of your event.
In the future, we'd also love to see more ways to customize the branding aspects of the page the event users see, by integrating our brand fonts and imagery in a more obvious way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The events, categories and forms are easy to set up. The process of completing an entry is user friendly and straightforward for users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The reports can be a little confusing to create and read sometimes once judges have submitted their scoring. I would prefer if there was one button to export a judges report with all the basic information I need on it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Judgify makes managing awards and competitions super easy!
The submission and judging process is very straightforward, plus the real-time scoring keeps everything fair and transparent. The customization options and reporting tools are a big bonus and support staff have been very accomodating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
So far we havent come across any downsides Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We have been using Judgify to manage our online award applications for the last few years and have had good experience using the program. The features have made the awards set up, application process and review experience more streamlined for everyone involved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Initial set up can be time-consuming, especially if involving multiple categories and questions. However, once set up, template can cloned which makes year-to-year set up easier. As a not-for-profit, we would welcome more affordable alternative pricing options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The platform is flexible and reliable in fulfilling my event requirements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think the pricing is a little steep, however I was getting the right support throughout my journey in using the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We love the customization and ease of use with this tool. We have been using it for years and enjoy our experience every time. It was easy to figure out, and easy for our judges to login and use as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I can't think of any complaints that I have about using Judgify. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I find Judgify to be incredibly intuitive and efficient, making the entire awards management process smooth and organized. The platform's ability to handle multiple judging rounds with customizable scoring rubrics is a huge plus. I also appreciate how easy it is to manage submissions and the real-time updates that keep both judges and participants well-informed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I did find that there’s a bit of a learning curve when it comes to navigating some of the more advanced features, but once I got the hang of it, the platform was straightforward and user-friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Used Judgify for the Academy of Chocolate awards in 2023 for awards management.
Good onboarding process, and the support from professional services team has been excellent. When there's a problem or issue identified, the response is fast and the issue gets resolved quickly. Also the Judgify team has been helpful to figure out workarounds with us when something cannot be easily done in Judgify (due to the complexity of how the awards need to be run, rather than any major shortfalls in Judgify)
The user interfaces for entrants and judges are intuitive and easy to use. Very useful to be able to have payment integration, and also create different submission forms and scoring forms for different categories.
Good to be able to download the various data (including filtering of the data fields) into CSV files easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing to dislike but there are a few potential areas for improvements:
(1) In the submission form, if the entrant changes from one category to another, and the set of questions are different, then the mandatory questions can be left blank when the submit button is pressed rather than not allowing the submission to go ahead because it's a required field.
(2) There's no way to track any partial refund of the submissions.
(3) Speed in the backend can be slow - but this can be due to the volume of data for the awards. The frontend doesn't seem to suffer from this issue.
(4) Would be useful to be able to save reports with a subset of data fields in particular order, so we don't have to re-select the fields when we need to run different reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
