I really like the convenience of Jotform Sign, as I can access it from anywhere, which makes managing tasks on-the-go a breeze. I am disappointed with Jotform Sign due to its tendency to crash, which disrupts my workflow. Additionally, the time it takes to edit a page is longer than expected, making adjustments cumbersome. Jotform's most helpful too is their ability to handle complex plugins like connecting to my Emil client and creating a customer profile through automation, and tools such as the ability for my customers to upload files from their computer to my form. I do think that Jotform requires a learning curve to get the most out of it, but it's free trial is a good introduction to test. It can be highly customizable, and their help center is an aid to figure out complex functionality, but at times I am left with unanswered questions. The entire setup of Jotform Sign is poor. Each document has its own inbox where the documents are stored to show their status. While I can understand why that setup may sound good, in practice it is extremely difficult to see all my documents and the standing of each client at a glance. Many times I would be looking for a clients document to see if it was signed and because we have multiple different documents, I couldn’t find theirs and would have them just sign another document in person in paper. Another big issue is that Jotform doesn’t allow you to annotate an existing document so I was not able to upload one document (let’s say a consent form) and make changes to it like adding a price. I would have to save 10 different documents to reflect the different prices and then upload each document separately. Its extremely time-consuming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like best about Jotform Sign is how simple and intuitive it is to use. Setting up documents for signatures is quick, and the drag-and-drop interface makes it easy to place signature fields exactly where they’re needed. It saves a lot of time compared to printing, signing, and scanning documents.

I also really like how well it integrates with forms and workflows. Being able to automatically generate documents and send them out for signatures streamlines processes and keeps everything organised in one place. One small downside is that some of the more advanced features can take a little time to learn at first. I wish there were a way to edit a PDF after I upload it for signing. Sometimes, after I’ve already added all the fields for the signer, I’ll notice a tiny typo. Instead of being able to correct it within Jotform Sign, I have to go back, edit the document elsewhere, and reupload it—then re-enter all the fields again from scratch. We were an all paper organization (nonprofit) until about two years ago. JotForm has been a huge blessing for us. It has allowed us to streamline a lot of our processes. JotForm Sign - in particular - as we use it for signing contracts with our ice rink, our coaches, and more. It's easy to created a e-sign document and it as great tracking history. I wish there was a way to do bulk contracts. For example - when we send out contracts to the coaches... the contracts are exactly the same except the name of the coach and the team they are coaching. I love that it is simple to use and intuitive. I also love that it has features available to all levels that are only available as a higher premium on similar software. It offers features that allow Jotform to be a "one stop shop" instead of having to integrate multiple software programs to get the desired end result. This includes encrypted forms, signable documents, and simple, quick downloads of completed forms into shareable documents. The downloadable forms are editable before download, so you are only including the components into the document that are pertinent to the receiver. Signable documents are able to be downloaded with an audit trail. All in all, this was one of the best changes our company has made this year. It did take some time to move our current forms into Jotform, however integrating it with our needs has been very easy and if you have used similar software there is very little learning curve. I think the biggest challenge using Jotform is the limitation on the number of forms you can create at the different plan tiers. The nature of our business means we have many different forms that are critical to what we do but may be used only seldomly. Their current pricing tier only minimally increases the number of forms you have but has large jumps in the number of responses. We do not have large response numbers, so it would not make sense for us to go up a tier just to have the ability to make a small number of additional forms. It is frustrating to have to create a form from scratch only when needed in order to meet the form limitations of our plan. A few "perfect world" changes I would love, would be font choices, subtitles/descriptions on each type of question, and being able to add a seat without having to be the highest tier customer. I love how Jotform Sign smooth integration into typical forms elevates them. The settings are decently helpful to customize it and make it fit aesthetically as well. Attaching files is a big thing that Jotform does without requiring guests to sign in, and depositing responses neatly into a Drive folder is slick and helpful. We use Jotform Sign in a business workflow to send client agreements/SOWs and onboarding documents for signature. I like how quickly we can start from a template, add signer fields, send a signing request, and track progress from sent to completed.
