Built-in integration with the JIRA tool. You can track the metrics through reports and Dashboards. Singe place to scale your operations and to have efficient tracking of all the tasks **What do you dislike about Jira Align (formerly AgileCraft)?** Integration is possible only with JIRA and not feasible for other ALM tools like Rally Implementation is a bit costly as we need to get a representative to deal with it. **What problems is Jira Align (formerly AgileCraft) solving and how is that benefiting you?** It was becoming difficult for us to track different modules that developers are working on. After using Agilecraft, it became a centralized place to view/track all the work that developers are doing. ### 3. Compared to other tools like Rally, it seems to have native integration. In addition, Jira Align gives you visibility to all aspects of your organization's Product Lifecycle Management. Not just the items your team is working on, but items across the whole enterprise. This brings significant value to our organization and its work! **What do you dislike about Jira Align (formerly AgileCraft)?** I wished that both systems would be built end to end and combined, rather than it being one separate system. Eventually, they should have it set up to make the integration seamless with no wait time. Some of the things I do not like about Jira align include the wait between both systems. That is not sufficient at all. I think this would be improved upon. **Recommendations to others considering Jira Align (formerly AgileCraft):** I would recommend that you get familiar first with Jira before going to Jira Align. Understand all the touch points where Jira Align integrates with Jira. Also, depending on how your enterprise environment is set up, either Jira or Jira Align will be the system of record. **What problems is Jira Align (formerly AgileCraft) solving and how is that benefiting you?** We're solving our issues of having a unified and visible product backlog to our stakeholders based on the current Jira integration system currently in place today. This allows us to better communicate with our stakeholders, and give them the exact expectation on when products and product roadmaps will be realized and delivered in the enterprise. ### 4. I was able to manage the dependencies and risks very easily. For example, I can even align a dependency at the user story level. The visualizations (matrix graph) for dependencies are a top-notch feature. **What do you dislike about Jira Align (formerly AgileCraft)?** One of the significant features of SAFe was to capture the business value against the deliverables after the completion of a PI. However, the tool doesn't have a proper way to capture the actual and perceived value. **Recommendations to others considering Jira Align (formerly AgileCraft):** For those that are practicing agile using Jira, it is highly recommended to use Jira Align to manage the program more efficiently. **What problems is Jira Align (formerly AgileCraft) solving and how is that benefiting you?** It became more easy for me to get the reports, and I got complete bird-eye view of the entire program across every PI. For sure, it reduced a significant manual efforts to get the information. ### 7. It allows better ticket tracking and in this way every team member can remain in touch with what other team members are working on. It enables you to drill down and add as many particular tasks as you need under each milestone. In simple words, it’s an amazing project management tool in terms of tracking the milestones and deliverables progress. It is greatly flexible and maintains deliverable backlogs. **What do you dislike about Jira Align (formerly AgileCraft)?** One major drawback is that it does not support waterfall. Its initial ticket creation screen does not possess some essential features including point values. To see new tickets, the browser requires manually refreshing that makes things confusing when many people are creating tickets in a meeting. The interface on software smaller portions is hard to understand. It is difficult to use for operation-oriented tasks and is hard to implement among various departments. There a lot of issues with the customization of workflow especially when you depend on a long workflow with a great number of rows. **What problems is Jira Align (formerly AgileCraft) solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is easy to integrate with other applications. Its feature of time estimation is simply amazing. You can easily know where you stand in terms of the timeline by entering how long you think the task will take and the number of hours spent every day. It is fast and reliable. It provides real-time visibility and connects your business strategy to tech executions. It allows you to connect strategic investments easily with customer value developed to drive end results more reliably. ### 8. It provides you ability to define your goals and set the road for any upcoming work. This is used by nearly our entire organization and helps us track our progress. One of the most important features is that you can use disparate sets of tools among all teams. Jira Align helps you to centralize all your data with one tool and that helps when plugging in a variety of other licensed apps. **What do you dislike about Jira Align (formerly AgileCraft)?** One thing that it will help me a lot with my work and will save me time is a real time refreshing for new comments or tickets. It will eliminate my need for refresh and the chance of double posting for a touch for 2 or more persons of the same team. I would love to have a stronger and more featured search ability on older cases and tickets. Also i would appreciate if there was a chat function inside this platform in order to helps us keep also the information together and not have the need for additional tools. **Recommendations to others considering Jira Align (formerly AgileCraft):** Its one of the most featured software to help you and your company. Has great potential and many industry-unique capabilities It's integrated capabilities. The ability to handle the very real challenges of what larger corporation need in terms of tracking of progress, financials, planning with that of Agile teams and Agile delivery practices. **What do you dislike about Jira Align (formerly AgileCraft)?** Would like more active support and guidance explaining the tool and its capabilities with more help configuring with explanations of implications if one versus the other configuration is chosen. Updates and field names need to be more consistent throughout the tool. No clear "thread" explaining what and how data aggregates to the higher level reports / summaries / dashboards. Access management is very complex and implications of what a user can and cannot do based on admin settings are very difficult to discern. **Recommendations to others considering Jira Align (formerly AgileCraft):** Make sure you invest heavily in Agile training and then in conjunction work with the Agile coaches and the tool Vendor to build up all the appropriate structures in the tool. Keep the Agile coaches onboard in the daily Scrums until all the teams and "team of teams" are comfortable with the usage of the tool and associated Agile practices. **What problems is Jira Align (formerly AgileCraft) solving and how is that benefiting you?** If your organisation is planning to adopt Scaled Agile Framework Methodology (SAFe) without being worried about cost, thisl is one of the best tools. Here, you can look at various release trains and how that then flows up to the overall program budget. You can look holistically across all the release trains with minimal effort and have it flow up to the program office’s budget. It also helps by easily maintaining backlogs and integrating more seamlessly into software developers releases, iterations, and features. ### 11. Easily accessible options on the left section of the home page gives user a very clear view of what to expect at Enterprise vs Solution vs team level. Almost everything including Epic, ART and US, estimates, etc are quite well covered in this tool. **What do you dislike about Jira Align (formerly AgileCraft)?** Not many but :- 1. To gain access user has to apply multiple times for each Agile Release Train. 2. A desktop app is not available. 3. For a new user a bit difficult to navigate through various options that one can do on this tool. **Recommendations to others considering Jira Align (formerly AgileCraft):** Please use it. It’s very very useful tool for orgs working on Agile methodology. **What problems is Jira Align (formerly AgileCraft) solving and how is that benefiting you?** My Org is following standard practices of DevSecOps model for Tech dev area.
