I had some installation problems ... so I asked for help thru customer support. They answered me and really cared and helped me sign in... and install the program on chrome extensions. That makes it very easy and handy to use... as I can record a video without having to login everytime. There various features.. one I luv is that the dashboard lets me resend the file to someone else . The UI/UX is nice, smooth and easy. Recordings works. The best part with Konvey to me is that I have now a lifetime deal. I want to avoid monthly paid services. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The only drawback I've noticed so far is the screen capture and video playback. I am forced to watch the entire tape to check points on the video. I can't jump with the recording, which could also be due to my own Chrome settings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love the simplicity of the platform and how easy it is to get started. I'm still testing things out but so far, I can see this replacing my quick training videos on Loom and in my community. So far I am not able to clarify which mic I use. I only see "default mic" and that isn't good enough as I have an external mic as well. I'd also like the platform to give better options while we're recording our screens. As a basketball coach I found it difficult to easily and quickly explain drills and strategies online. I wasted hours trying to stitch together videos from clunky apps and workarounds. That's why I'm so impressed with how Konvey has simplified my video creation process. Recently, I wanted to walk coaches through an offensive set. In minutes, I recorded the drill animation and talked to the nuances of the offense. Being able to combine my webcam footage with a screen recording seamlessly made life a lot easier! I had some issues getting the custom domain feature to work properly, despite watching Konvey's tutorial video and getting an automated email from Konvey (looks like you're trying to set up a custome domain). Unfortunatley, I wasn't able to sort it out. I also sent a video to Konvey's support team, but haven't heard back from them yet. I've been looking for an alternative for Loom and Konvey was the best replacement. Loom had a lot of bells and whistle but I didn't need most of them. As a manager, I just need a simple solid tool that will help in back and forth video conversations when I'm troubleshooting an issue or communicating with a client. Konvey doesn't work on iPhone without Chrome. Konvey doesn't work on Mac FireFox much of the time (many bugs). Konvey doesn't work where the competition clearly does. That sets the bar higher than Konvey can reach. I hope they can work this out somehow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
