Top Rated Konvey Alternatives

It records the entire screen and or the windows you want. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
You cannot select the portion of your screen you want it to record. I wish you could be very specific with the area of recording.
It doesn't always save. You may lose your whole recording. And there is no way to speed up playback, which seems very basic.

When I was about creating a Konvey account, I was concerned about the learning curve but I was pleasantly surprised to find that there's little or no learning curve. My assistant was able to sign up for an account and record a video without stress.
In addition to the ease of use, I like the versatility and the fact that there's nothing to install. So anyone can easily deploy the tool for several use cases, such as customer support, feedback/testimonials and video interviews.
Finally, the possibility of starting with a free account (not a free trial) helps to overcome resistance.
Overall, Konvey lives up to its promise. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I found that I could not fastforward a recorded video until it had finished playing. I was also expecting automated transcript or subtitles but that's not available. I hope it's introduced in the process of further development. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- It's an easy and fast tool to record the screen by just clicking on a button, which I use on a weekly basis
- No installation needed since it's cloud based
- My favourite feature is that you are allowed to request a screen recording from someone else which makes the debugging process much easier
- Support team is in general very motivated and looking for new possibilities to improve their tool Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- Support seemed to be a bit overloaded and it took me more than a week to get a response
- Chrome extension is not listed in the google store and after the manual installation it was a bit buggy and some errors appeared. With a google chrome extentions it makes it much easier to integrate the tool into the daily work tasks.
- The opions to edit the videos are are limited and the konvey branding is very dominant
- No possibility just to record audio without video Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

User Experience: It's a breeze to use. Finding your way around the tool feels natural.
Folders for Recordings: Being able to sort my screen recordings into folders is a big plus for staying organized.
Custom Domain Feature: The option to use my own domain for recordings is a neat feature that makes things look more professional.
Inviting Non-Users: The fact that I can get someone to record something without making them download anything is super handy.
Quick Help: Their support team is on the ball. I've gotten help fast whenever I've reached out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Uploading Takes Time: After recording, uploading feels like it takes forever, especially compared to similar tools.
Chrome Extension Install: You can't just grab their Chrome extension from the store; you have to go through developer mode to install it, which is a bit of a pain. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In general, it is excellent software, and even a viable alternative to Loom. It is understood that it is in the process of growth, and for the price you pay, that "rudimentary" aspect is completely justified. It has points for improvement that would make it a perfect solution, but I insist: the Price/Quality ratio makes it incredibly good.
It can be improved in:
- Download protection of the videos
- Incorporation of chapters.
- Some compatibility errors with Firefox.
In reality, there are many references, I hope mine in Spanish can contribute. Greetings to the Konvey team, and they are doing very well, I hope the software evolves and reaches the place it deserves. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This software is continuously compared to Loom, so you see it in its shadow in every review. When comparing them, it is evidently at a disadvantage due to production time, price, etc. In this context, there are things that Loom has managed to advance significantly, such as the incorporation of AI, a fast and agile player, perfect and very smooth compatibility for those who send or receive recordings. Easy to use in browser - nothing to download AND you can send an Async video request to a client! WOW! I'm trying to get my clients to send async videos and trying to tell them how to sign up for Loom, then run out of space, etc...it's a pain. NOW, I just send them a link and ask them to tell me what's going on! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I'd like to be able to 'select an area' of screen to create a video because when I select window or Chrome tab, I LOSE the video of me (webcam). I have a W I D E 35" monitor, so if I select 'full screen' it makes the video look weird. Not the biggest deal, I can always unplug and use laptop alone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ability to send a request to a client and have them create a video / recording of either what they want, or an issue they are experiencing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Video organization could get cumbersome
I would like the ability to make sure to request a certain video resolution Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's easy to use. You can start recording in a couple of seconds.
There's no learning phase. The software is so easy you can start getting value from it in under 5 minutes.
The fact that their starting plan already contains 3 user spots is a game changer, different from Loom - where you must pay per user.
If you use a video recording tool, after all, is because you have a team to collaborate with, isn't it? Konvey allows you to pick a plan with a proper amount of seats, which is great.
The software itself works well. It's quick to record and access files. Quite easy to fit in my working routine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Uploading the video after recording is way slower than Loom. You can't record and work on the video immediately. You have to wait a couple of minutes till it's completely ready. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the ease of use, as well as the fact that you can save videos to send to multiple clients. For example, I have several common questions that people ask, and sending a video is a great way to introduce myself and answer their question in what feels like a very personal way.
I am also planning to use it for tech support, to be able to easily show people how to fix things.
I like the simple interface, and I am excited to support a new company and see what new features they release in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There isn't AI support (at least not yet) and there could be a bit more customization available for the videos, but otherwise, no critiques. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Konvey has really changed the way we interact with our customers. By integrating video messaging into our communication strategy, we've seen a significant improvement in customer satisfaction. The platform is intuitive, making it easy for our team to create and send videos that effectively convey our messages, eliminating the need for lengthy emails or challenging scheduling. This tool has not only enhanced our sales process but has also strengthened our customer relationships by adding a personal touch that's rare in digital communication. For any business looking to modernize their client interactions, Konvey is a must-try. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Konvey could benefit from more advanced editing features. Despite this, Konvey's core functionality—streamlining communication through video messaging—remains very valuable to us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Playing around a bit and it does what it says. Great for recording your screen and/or camera, or ask somebody to do that as well. Also to track all the recordings that have been received. The videos are stored in the cloud, so it is helpful in case you do not have enough local space. Moreover, you are able to organize your recordings/requests into folders and labels in the dashboard, or to set up custom domains to personalize your requests from different projects.
It is pretty intuitive how to use it. But in case you are not sure how to start, there is a tutorial that goes straigh forward to the point, and you spend little time to learn everything you need to start using all its features.
You will implement and integrate it very easily into your daily tasks.
Customer Support responds to my queries in just few hours so far, trying to bring solutions to my problems.
You will use it often if you are a business that needs frequent referrals or gives tutorials using your computer, among similar situations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is a software that has room for improvement. It needs to find innovative features to not become just a copy of Loom. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
