Our manufacturing processes (being in strictly regulated market) are not standard. And thus, no off the shelf software is able to help us. While we use Oracle JDE E1 for our Accounting, the manufacturing module was an easy choice. Everything from invoicing, customer information, raw material, BOM, EDI processes to connect with our distributors, AP, AR, inventory forecast and planning, shelf locations, production line management are all included as part of the whole suite we have gotten. This is a core competency of E1 and it does do a great job at it. The user-friendly screens, ability to customize, ability to audit and share modules/jobs/processes of production line across multiple users - thus having a collaborative processes are the Pros. Having whole suite of Accounting, inventory, HR, manufacturing etc. helps streamline all processes into one. **What do you dislike about JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Manufacturing and Engineering?** Not good for reporting. Need a third party tool for analysis / report building. It's costly for on-prem and even more for SaaS. but you pay for the good functionalities. Pain to upgrade to new version - if you have a lot of customization. **What problems is JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Manufacturing and Engineering solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have aligned and streamlined many of our manufacturing processes across multiple facilities with the help of JDE E1. Due to having one system rolled out across the organization - we can have a overarching view and reporting for proper management. Before, we were not able to get one view across all facilities. Now, we have one system to go for all the data and status for everything to do with inventory, material, processes, prod line, production scheduling etc. ### 11.
