I greatly like the cross-platform ability of JAMS Enterprise Job Scheduler to schedule jobs robustly. It can manage windows tasks as well as Linux scripts and custom applications very easily through one user interface. The dependency management is an amazing capability; we can easily connect several jobs such as an ETL process to a reporting task and there is the right sequence of execution. Initial configuration and installation may be somewhat difficult; it certainly has a high learning curve. Although it works, the user interface is sometimes a bit outdated and may be cooled down with a more modern touch to enhance navigation. In addition, developing more customized reports may involve accessing certain queries instead of providing a more graphical builder. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
