Jahia is an excellent CMS that makes it easy to manage content across all our sites. With the integration of React.js, it has become a powerful tool for developers, enabling them to create robust components.
Its dashboard is very intuitive and offers several tools for a great user experience. For instance, the editor supports both light and advanced modes. Both are useful, but the advanced mode provides technical information about components, change history, and options to create visibility rules by language, date, time, and now even by device, among other features.
For developers, Jahia offers an easy way to work. Its modular structure allows the creation of different projects and components. Depending on the site, we can decide in the administration options whether to add these modules to a single project or all of them. Its integration with GraphQL and Augmented Search enables the creation of powerful sites with excellent response times.
Jahia’s cloud administration also makes it easy to manage our environments, nodes, schedule backups, use HAProxy as needed, manage domains, credentials, and access monitoring options with DataDog and Go to Tools.
In my opinion, Jahia is a solid and secure solution for business portals, with the added advantage of a great support team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Like all tools, Jahia isn’t perfect. Occasionally, we encounter minor issues that are hard to understand. Currently, we’re facing a problem with SVG files; every time we upload them, we need to delete the thumbnails before publishing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Jahia is a content management system (CMS) primarily aimed at companies looking to provide rich and consistent digital experiences across different channels. What makes Jahia particularly interesting is its ability to combine content management with user experience personalization, while easily integrating with other enterprise systems.
One of Jahia's key strengths is its flexibility. Its modular architecture allows for adding features according to the specific needs of the company, without unnecessarily complicating the rest of the platform. For example, with its REST and GraphQL APIs, Jahia facilitates integration with other tools already in place, which is often a challenge for other CMSs.
Personalization is at the heart of Jahia. The tool enables the delivery of different content based on user behaviors and preferences, offering a much more relevant experience. For companies looking to get closer to their audiences, this feature is a real asset, especially in a world where customer expectations for personalization are constantly growing.
In terms of security, Jahia also sets a high standard, which is reassuring for regulated industries such as healthcare or finance. For those who prefer working with open-source solutions, Jahia offers a version that allows developers to customize the CMS in depth, according to the specific needs of their project. The interface can be a bit intimidating for users who are not accustomed to it, but with the latest updates (8.2), we are approaching something simple and clear.
It is true that Jahia requires some technical expertise to fully leverage, especially compared to simpler solutions like WordPress. However, this complexity matches the tool's capabilities. Companies that invest the time needed to understand and optimize Jahia are often rewarded with a powerful platform capable of meeting the complex needs of their digital strategy. Jahia is an outstanding CMS platform that excels in ease of use and flexibility. Its user-friendly interface makes content management and site development a breeze, even for those with minimal technical expertise. The platform offers robust features for personalization, integration, and scalability, making it perfect for businesses of any size.
What truly sets Jahia apart is its exceptional support team, who are quick to respond, knowledgeable, and always ready to go the extra mile to ensure success. Whether you're managing content or handling complex digital projects, Jahia offers both a seamless experience and fantastic support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While Jahia offers a lot of great features, I’m not a huge fan of the JCR (Java Content Repository) system. When something goes wrong or gets corrupted, it can be really challenging to fix and troubleshoot. The complexity of the JCR structure makes it harder to diagnose and resolve issues compared to other CMS platforms, which can slow down workflows when things go off track. What I particularly appreciate about Jahia is the responsiveness and professionalism of the sales and technical teams. Their availability and attentiveness greatly facilitate project management, which is a real plus. Additionally, even with an older version, the CMS remains very flexible. It offers the ability to add custom code, allowing us to perfectly tailor it to our specific needs. This flexibility is a major asset when managing complex projects while maintaining a certain freedom in development. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I’m using an older version of Jahia, so I can't comment on the latest updates or new features. However, this version requires quite a few adjustments, especially to ensure better stability during high user traffic. When the load increases, the CMS can sometimes show signs of weakness, which forces us to intervene to optimize performance. A better native handling of high traffic loads would be highly appreciated in these situations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
On the other hand, once properly configured, it offers a good number of useful features and integrates effectively with other systems. Customer service is responsive, which partly makes up for the initial challenges. If you use it frequently, the learning curve will eventually pay off, but you'll need to be patient to get the full benefit from it. I use it every day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Jahia is not very intuitive and its implementation can be complex, which can be discouraging at first. The interface lacks clarity, making it less fluid to use, especially for users who are not used to this type of tool. The ease of use is not that simple in particular the workflow to validate for each actions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Like many products on the market, this platform is generally intuitive, but requires mastery of certain advanced functions. This can be a limiting factor when you first start using it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love the modularity of Jahia DXP, allowing us to build custom components with ease. The visual feedback when editing pages is excellent, making it intuitive for both developers and content creators. Its flexibility and headless capabilities streamline front-end development while giving full control over content presentation.
I must also applaud the support team, they are incredibly helpful while also swifting responding to any tickets that I may have which has made my experience using Jahia significantly more smooth! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The learning curve can be steep, especially for those unfamiliar with Jahia’s templating system. I'd also love for there to be an easier way to integrate/align changes across a single environment to the other environments, rather than having to do a large import/export. What I like best about Jahia DXP is its user-friendly environment, which makes it easy to navigate and manage complex integrations. The intuitive interface allows for quick onboarding, while the comprehensive documentation and responsive support team ensure that technical needs are addressed promptly. Additionally, Jahia's strong focus on SEO optimization and automation capabilities enhances our digital strategies, making it a powerful ally for managing our digital experience. the priceWhat I dislike about Jahia DXP is that the admin interface can be confusing for new users, leading to a steeper learning curve for those who are not familiar with complex content management systems. Although the interface is intuitive overall, some advanced features require more time to master, especially without dedicated training or resources. This can make it challenging for teams to fully leverage the platform's capabilities right from the start. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Jahia is a web content management system that is modular, both in terms of its IT deployment and its use as a webmaster. It can be easily customized according to the needs of the business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The tools that accompany Jahia, JExperience and Jahia form in particular, are very interesting but seem quite limited compared to other tools on the market dedicated to customization and form creation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
