## Ivanti Neurons for Patch Management Reviews
  ### 1. Streamlined, Automated Patch Management with Strong Visibility and Prioritization

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chitra M. | Talent Acquisition, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Ivanti Neurons for Patch Management?**

Ivanti Neurons for Patch Management is how it streamlines the entire patching process and cuts down on manual work for IT teams. The platform provides solid visibility into missing patches, device health, and vulnerabilities from a single dashboard, which makes day-to-day monitoring much easier.

I also find the third-party application patching especially valuable, since many security risks come from non-Microsoft applications.

I appreciate how it helps me prioritize critical patches quickly, making it easier to address vulnerabilities before they turn into bigger problems.

**What do you dislike about Ivanti Neurons for Patch Management?**

One thing I dislike about Ivanti Neurons for Patch Management is that the interface can sometimes feel overly complex, especially for new users. Some configurations and policy settings take time to fully understand, so there’s a noticeable learning curve during initial setup and ongoing management.

**What problems is Ivanti Neurons for Patch Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ivanti Neurons for Patch Management helps solve one of the biggest IT and security challenges keeping systems updated and protected against vulnerabilities without requiring constant manual work.

The biggest benefit for me is the automation and visibility it provides. Instead of manually tracking devices and patch status, the platform gives a centralized dashboard to monitor compliance, deployment progress, and device health. It also supports remote and hybrid environments, which makes patching distributed teams much easier and more efficient.

Another valuable feature is its risk-based prioritization. Rather than patching everything blindly, the platform helps focus on vulnerabilities that pose the highest real-world risk. This improves response time for critical threats and helps organizations meet security SLAs faster.

In terms of pricing, Ivanti uses a quote-based model that generally depends on the number of devices, deployment type, and selected modules.

Support is generally comprehensive, including phone, email, live chat, technical documentation, webinars, and knowledge base resources.

  ### 2. Risk-Aware Patch Management at Scale with Strong Performance

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erick P. | Consultor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Ivanti Neurons for Patch Management?**

Ivanti Neurons for Patch Management is a strong fit for organizations that need controlled, risk-aware patching at scale, rather than simply “install everything on Patch Tuesday.” Its biggest advantage is how it helps teams focus on what matters most and roll out updates in a structured, deliberate way. That approach is especially valuable when uptime is critical and change control is a priority.

**What do you dislike about Ivanti Neurons for Patch Management?**

Cannot be used by small teams. UX is not intuitive to navigate, meaning it has a steep learning curve. Not cheaper when compared to Secops Patch management. Support is great and the performance is also great.

**What problems is Ivanti Neurons for Patch Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It feels more mature than simple patching tools because it connects patching with security prioritization.
It is a good fit for mixed endpoint environments where you need centralized control.
It can reduce noise by focusing on exposure and remediation order, not just raw patch counts.

  ### 3. High-Octane Patching with a Steep Learning Curve

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Levi R. | Operations Supervisor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Ivanti Neurons for Patch Management?**

Unlike some native tools (like Microsoft Intune or WSUS) that struggle with non-Windows apps, Ivanti handles Windows, macOS, Linux, and over 350+ third-party applications (Chrome, Zoom, Adobe, etc.) in one interface. This eliminates the "silo effect" where your OS is secure but your PDF reader is a wide-open door for hackers.

**What do you dislike about Ivanti Neurons for Patch Management?**

1. Agent Reliability and "Healthy Environment" Tax
One of the most frequent complaints from sysadmins is that the local agents can be finicky.

The Issue: Agents may occasionally hang, crash, or lose connection, requiring manual intervention to "fix the fixer."

The Impact: In a large environment, managing the health of the Ivanti agent itself can become a weekly task, partially offsetting the time saved by automation.

**What problems is Ivanti Neurons for Patch Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Fix: Risk-Based Prioritization (VRR)Traditional tools give you a giant list of "Critical" patches based on theoretical severity (CVSS). Ivanti filters this by looking at what hackers are actually doing in the wild. The Benefit to You: You stop "chasing ghosts." Instead of patching 1,000 items because they might be dangerous, you focus on the 50 that are currently being used in active ransomware campaigns. This drastically reduces your "Mean Time to Remediate" (MTTR).

  ### 4. Streamlined Patch Prioritization and Confident Phased Rollouts

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rahul R. | Software Engineer Intern, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Ivanti Neurons for Patch Management?**

What I like most about Ivanti Neurons for Patch Management is how much it streamlines prioritization for me. Instead of sifting through endless CVSS scores, I can lean on the Vulnerability Risk Rating to focus on the patches that truly put my environment at risk. Since it’s cloud-native, I’m able to patch every endpoint I’m responsible for—whether remote, hybrid, or on-prem—and schedule or stage deployments in a way that fits my team’s needs. The automated ring deployment also gives me confidence to roll patches out in phases. On top of that, being able to manage Windows, macOS, Linux, and third-party apps from a single console has dramatically reduced my manual workload while still keeping me on top of compliance.

**What do you dislike about Ivanti Neurons for Patch Management?**

What I like least about Ivanti Neurons for Patch Management is the learning curve. The interface can feel complex, and it took me a fair amount of time and training to get comfortable with everything the platform can do. I’ve also run into occasional stability and performance hiccups depending on how things are configured. When I’ve needed help, the support experience hasn’t always matched the quality of the product itself. On top of that, the pricing is on the higher end, so I often find myself having to justify the cost. None of these are dealbreakers for me, but they’re the main areas where I’d most like to see improvement.

**What problems is Ivanti Neurons for Patch Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ivanti Neurons for Patch Management addresses the challenge of keeping every endpoint patched across a sprawling, mixed environment. Previously, manually tracking and deploying updates across hundreds of devices—many of them remote or off the corporate network—was nearly impossible to do consistently. Now I can patch them all from the cloud, no matter where they are, and the risk-based prioritization helps me focus on the vulnerabilities that actually expose us first instead of trying to chase every CVE.

Automation has dramatically reduced my manual workload and cut down on the human errors that used to slip in. At the same time, the compliance reporting helps me identify and act on devices before they drift out of policy. Overall, the result is a stronger security posture with far less time and effort, along with real confidence that we’re protected against the threats that matter most.

Reporting is another strong point: the platform provides detailed compliance reports and vulnerability insights that are useful for audits and for demonstrating to management that the environment is protected.

The cloud-based architecture also makes a difference, since I can manage patching from anywhere and it scales smoothly as the organization grows. On top of that, Ivanti’s integration with other security tools helps me respond faster to threats and keep endpoints protected.

Overall, Ivanti Neurons for Patch Management reduces risk, saves time, and gives me confidence that devices stay secure and compliant without a lot of hassle.

**What do you dislike about Ivanti Neurons for Patch Management?**

While Ivanti Neurons for Patch Management has a lot of strengths, there are a few things I don’t like. The interface can feel cluttered and unintuitive at times, especially when I’m trying to drill down into patch details or schedule deployments for specific device groups. Reporting is powerful, but customizing reports or exporting data isn’t always as straightforward as I’d expect. Occasionally, the platform is slow to sync device status or reflect real-time changes, which makes troubleshooting patch failures more difficult.

Another challenge is that third-party application patching can lag behind Windows updates, so I sometimes need to supplement it with manual processes. The initial setup and integration with other IT tools can also be complex, and the support documentation isn’t always clear or easy to follow. On top of that, licensing and feature tiers can be confusing—some advanced automation or analytics capabilities require additional modules or subscriptions.

Overall, Ivanti Neurons is robust, but I wish the user experience, reporting flexibility, and the integration process were smoother.

**What problems is Ivanti Neurons for Patch Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Remco d. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Ivanti Neurons for Patch Management?**

The collaboration with Microsoft enables me to easily add ring patching to an Intune platform that does not provide for this. By using the agent, I also receive immediate feedback on the status of the patch instead of waiting for the Intune synchronization.

**What do you dislike about Ivanti Neurons for Patch Management?**

It is an addon to what you already have to buy from Microsoft. The application catalog is not large enough yet. I miss the ability to update plugins in browsers.

**What problems is Ivanti Neurons for Patch Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Patch management on modern workplaces managed by Intune lacks the ability to patch third-party software. Additionally, you miss the options to apply ring patching, which prevents you from testing a patch first. Connecting a bot that checks with the employee whether the patch has caused any issues is great.

  ### 9. Centralized Dashboard and Automation Make Patching Straightforward

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** mohamed l. | Network Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Ivanti Neurons for Patch Management?**

Ivanti Neurons for Patch Management is a favorite among IT teams because it takes the guesswork and stress out of keeping computers secure. Instead of just giving you a massive list of updates, it uses real-world data to point out which vulnerabilities are actually being used by hackers right now, so you know exactly what to fix first. It also acts like an early warning system by looking at other companies' experiences; if a specific update is causing crashes or bugs elsewhere, the system warns you before you install it on your own machines. Because it works perfectly for remote workers and handles everything from Windows updates to apps like Chrome and Zoom, it saves administrators hours of manual work and gives them peace of mind that their network is protected.

**What do you dislike about Ivanti Neurons for Patch Management?**

While Ivanti Neurons is powerful, users often find the initial setup and configuration quite complex, as it requires a significant learning curve to properly tune patch policies and deployment rings

  ### 11. Time-Saving Endpoint Automation with Reliable Cloud Visibility

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kush I. | Chief Executive Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Ivanti Neurons for Patch Management?**

What i like most about ivanti neurons is how it handles the automation part. it saves me a ton of time bc i dont have to manually check every single endpoint for updates. especially with my team being spread out, the visibility is huge. it honestly makes life easier and i can just set things up and let it run while i focus on other project management tasks. some parts of the setup took a bit longer then i expected but overall the cloud interface is great and very reliable for us.

**What do you dislike about Ivanti Neurons for Patch Management?**

the biggest issue i have is definitely the learning curve. its not very intuitive at the start and i felt like i had to spend alot of extra time just to get the basic reporting and automation to work the way i wanted for my organization. also the price is pretty steep which makes it tough for smaller groups to manage. sometimes the web portal is also kinda laggy when im trying to get things done quickly between other tasks. it would be better if the interface was a bit more streamlined for users who arent strictly IT admins.

**What problems is Ivanti Neurons for Patch Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

mostly it solves the issue of endpoint security and keeping everything updated without me having to manually check every machine. since i have to manage different projects and stay on top of my organization work, i dont have the time for manual patching. it benefits me by automating the whole process which saves a ton of time and honestly gives me peace of mind. its also really helpful for seeing our security status in one place so i dont have to guess if were protected or not. basically it keeps us secure while letting me focus on the actual work that matters.

  ### 12. Neurons provide real-time visibility and smooth, low-disruption patching.

**What do you like best about Ivanti Neurons for Patch Management?**

Quite likely. The platform is comprehensive, and the visibility it provides across endpoints is excellent. However, the initial learning curve can be slightly steep for smaller teams, so my recommendation would depend on the specific needs and infrastructure of the colleague in question.

**What do you dislike about Ivanti Neurons for Patch Management?**

The data provided is very detailed, but I find that the built-in reporting and dashboard customization options could be more intuitive. It sometimes requires too many steps to extract specific, executive-level reports that combine patch compliance with our exact internal risk metrics.

**What problems is Ivanti Neurons for Patch Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ivanti Neurons is solving the problem of vulnerability fatigue. Instead of chasing thousands of standard critical alerts, its Vulnerability Risk Rating (VRR) helps us pinpoint which threats are actively being exploited in the wild.

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Ivanti Neurons for Patch Management?**

I like how Ivanti Neurons for Patch Management automatically prioritizes and deploys critical patches with minimal downtime. The real-time vulnerabilities insights and rollback support make patching safer and faster, especially across hybrid cloud environments. It helps by cutting patch deployment time and reducing risk. Real-time insights let us fix high severity issues first, and rollback support ensures quick recovery if a patch causes instability. The integration into our CI/CD pipeline and monitoring workflows is also a big plus, as it helps maintain consistent OS and third-party software patches across distributed environments.

**What do you dislike about Ivanti Neurons for Patch Management?**

Reporting and dashboard performance could be better. Large datasets sometimes load slowly and filtering patch compliance reports is not always intuitive. Integration with third-party ticketing tools could be also smoother.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Ivanti Neurons for Patch Management?**

I have had a very positive experience with Ivanti Neurons for Patch Management. From my perspective, one of its strongest advantages is the level of automation it brings to what is traditionally a very time-consuming and operationally heavy process. The platform gives excellent visibility across endpoints and makes it far easier to identify vulnerabilities, prioritise remediation, and maintain compliance without excessive manual effort.

What I particularly appreciate is the centralised dashboard and the intelligent patch prioritisation capabilities. My perception is that Ivanti’s patching capabilities are among the strongest areas of the portfolio, especially for organisations seeking a balance between automation, control, and enterprise-grade functionality.

**What do you dislike about Ivanti Neurons for Patch Management?**

If I had to suggest one area for improvement, it would be the initial learning curve. Some configurations and policy settings can feel slightly complex for new administrators, particularly in more advanced deployments. A more streamlined onboarding experience and simpler reporting customisation would make an already excellent solution even stronger.

**What problems is Ivanti Neurons for Patch Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

From my experience and from what I frequently see in IT forums and peer discussions, Ivanti Neurons for Patch Management solves the challenge of managing patches efficiently across large and distributed environments. Many administrators struggle with manual patching, poor visibility, and delayed remediation of vulnerabilities. I find that Ivanti greatly simplifies this process through automation, centralised management, and strong third-party application support. The biggest benefit for users is the reduction in operational workload and security risk. It also helps improve compliance and keeps endpoints updated with far less disruption to end users and day-to-day business operations.
