The easy-to-use organization options. Working on a Support team, the password & text injection features that integrate with Datto are a timesaver on the small things, giving me more time to focus on the bigger things. It was easy to get setup with our account manager - who also was great at helping us with any questions we had, and now this is a tool that we use every day and has become part of our day-to-day processes. In order to use the password & text injection / autofill features with Datto you have to be using the "Web Remote" option. If you choose to use the "Agent Browser" you will not have this feature available to you, which I think is one of the selling-point features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really like that I can create documents using markdown and how well ITGlue will display it. Obviously it's a typing standard but some sites have issues fully supporting it, whereas ITG is flawless. The idea behind connected documents is fantastic and means engineers when reading information have a logical journey to get what they're looking for, and I think it's integration to Autotask is fabulous. The searching feature is not logical, sometimes you'll look for an organisation beginning with a letter or combination of letters, and it won't bring the correct search result up. It's hit and miss, it's odd, doesn't make sense. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The UI is easy to navigate with some nice features built in to link documents together. The ability to share documents internally and/or publicly is a nice feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The global search feature could be better. It only looks for keywords in the title of the document. It needs the ability to TAG documents together by keywords/groups.
The mobile app is a OK but misses the option of allowing you to view documents in the app. The only way to view documents on mobile is to use a web browser which is not feasible for the eyes. If the mobile app had the ability to create documents, then our techs could create documents on the go.
Global assets are only visible for admin roles. There should be a role to view all global assets for any user as this information is great for level 1 techs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Being able to keep track of all types of assets and passwords is indespensible. I was worried what I was going to do when I finally hired someone, but now I know I can just add a license, create my new employee's account, and they will have everything they need. I also like that I can restrict access to certain users or just certain information. Indespsible tool. I use it nearly every day. Sometimes even on the weekend. IT Glue has a fantastic capability of linking all info, to get the best experience in finding what I need to know.
I can start searching from a location, from a configuration info and I can get all whats related.
For me and my colleagues it's the starting page at the beginnning of every day.

We love how we can update in real time any documentation or logins for our company internally, as well as our clients. And it also includes a password manager, which seamlessly integrates with Google, so we love that as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The software is extremely flexible for handling passwords and other documentation. We use DattoRMM so having that tied into IT Glue streamlines things. Adding new entries, auditing access, and keeping things up to date is pretty easily done. This is something we use all of the time, and though it does cost a bit, we're planning on continuing to use it for the forseeable future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The mobile application is lacking. For some reason, we have to reset our passwords from time to time, even though we're confident the passwords are working. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the ability we have to control access to certain information. We can integrate a lot of the products that we use in the MSP space bring all the information into a single place, and store them in a well-organized manner for easy access.
As announced in the "IT Glue Q3 Product Innovation Update" they have made a lot of changes and implemented a lot of cool and useful features into ITGlue. I'm glad to see that they listen to their audience and their needs and address the pressure points. That's what we expect from a service provider like ITGlue.
Secure password sharing might look like a tiny feature, but plays a crucial role in modern-day security. Integrating the power of AI into the platform to make documentation a hassle-free task.
Integration of Datto SaaS and BCDR health status, reports into ITGlue and mapping them with the relevant assets is a time saver.
As a frequent user of ITGlue, these improvements help us as an MSP to provide a better and faster service to our clients. We don't have to waste time jumping between multiple tabs, and platforms to collect the information. For any MSP this is a key part of providing better customer service. I didn't see much of a use when they first implemented Datto SaaS integration, so I felt like it needed improving. But after the "IT Glue Q3 Product Innovation Update," I can see that they have listened to the feedback and improved it further. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love that we can store info safely for all clients that we support this is an awesome resource.
Desktop support technicians are confident they will be able to solve most issues encountered with having access to IT Glue all supported Clients' information usernames and passwords are stored safely and there is an option to integrate OTP using TOTP hardware tokens from authentication apps. My Glue needs a little work, not very intuitive for clients to access.
