the only complaint with istudio publisher could be that some of the graphics and tools appear just a little outdated. other than that there have been no issues Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

what's not to like? There is nothing it can't do...If they offer a trial run to you newbees, then do it! keep the pressure on 'em! to me, it will only force the app to be better!! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I cannot find any thing to dislike with this program. My intent initially was to create a PDF that i will have made into a tabletop magazine to show off my renovation at my home. Its coming out exactly as I pictured it, with excellent detail! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love the ease and access of all the inspectors and palettes. Switching between aspects and toolbars makes for a seamless design experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I'm not finding a simple, easy to grab invisible guideline, (but that could be me...) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
iStudio is always able to provide options for my work that are easy, yet comprehensive in options for what I need to do. I push the envelope frequently and am able to use iStudio for applications outside of what a normal layout program provides. Whether I am using iStudio for work or for personal jobs, it is always user-friendly and enjoyable to use! In addition, if I do find myself in need of one-on-one help, iStudio support responds within hours with clear and concise answers to my questions. If you are in doubt about purchasing iStudio, do it! You will will wish you had done so earlier!! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have been using iStudio for @10 years and I have not found anything that I dislike. It is very intuitive, the online information is thorough, and the development team is always adding very useful features and tweaking the existing features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is much less expensive than Adobe InDesign, and is easier to start navigating quickly within the program. For people needing a easy-to-use program to manipulate simple to somewhat complex projects, it is a great tool! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I do not like how it can not export transparent file formats, such as .png. This makes some projects impossible, such as certain logo designs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It has beautiful templates. The guidelines are easy to adjust and control. As a designer, it's easy to create beautiful professional designs if you can't afford InDesign. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are some drawbacks. First, it's great to make a mockup, but I could never make even a third of the design components that myblsyputs requires. Second, for some reason, the vector files are saved in a diverse manner and cannot be opened on a PC. Third, it is not compatible with PC. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The pro is the price, and that's about as far as it goes. I used to work for a small independent publisher, and we played around with this to try to typeset in-house… but I would never consider using this professionally if you can afford InDesign. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's clunky; it's unintuitive – you have to click into different panels to get to different tools; it doesn't offer enough control over the page; keyboard shortcuts aren't as easy to find and use… etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
With I Studio Publisher, we can do page design and we can also create applications, produce brochures, announcements, infoems bulletins, in an easy and friendly way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I dislike about the tool is that it is only compatible for Mac. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
