Island is a game-changer in the world of web browsing solutions, offering a seamless experience that combines ease of use with rapid innovation. As a user, I've found it incredibly intuitive right from the start. The interface is clean, well-organized, and doesn't overwhelm with unnecessary features. Navigating through tabs and managing bookmarks is a breeze, making it ideal for both novice and experienced users alike.
One of the most impressive aspects of Island is their commitment to innovation. Updates and new features are rolled out with remarkable speed, ensuring that users always have access to the latest advancements. Whether it's enhanced security measures, improved performance optimizations or compatibility with emerging technologies, Island Enterprise Browser stays ahead of the curve.
I highly recommend Island to anyone seeking a reliable, innovative and, above all else, secure browsing solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not much to say here except that I wish it was easier to convince end-users to get onboard; as it's more of an emerging technology, folks tend to need additional handholding to get comfortable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Island browser stands out for its enterprise security controls, seamless integration with existing systems like SSO, CrowdStrike, and AWS, and its balance between robust security and user-friendly experience. The browser's customizability and real-time security enforcement give us greater control over data and protection against threats. Island's support and engineering teams are highly responsive, offering excellent assistance throughout the process, from proof of concept to multiple pilots to production and even incorporating customer feedback into their product roadmap. The sales experience could be improved, as unexpected additional 'fees' detracted from an otherwise stellar technical experience after the contract was signed. Overall, while the engineering and support teams excel, a more transparent and collaborative approach from sales would enhance the buildng of a partnership. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There's nothing we dislike about this product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Island makes it easy to implement basic protections for data without a ton of user training. The ability to set last mile controls, different risk profiles and rules for different team member roles, and control where data is downloaded and uploaded, and simply deploy a browser for people to use is a game-changer. Island allows for a small PC foot print with massive service. We can connect directly to our systems and have every thing we need in one place. Implemenation was a breeze, and we can make cusomizations quickly and efficiently. Customer support is just a quick email away and will respond back in just moments. I use Island over my VDI every day all day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I can't log into my servers with Island. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The experience feels pretty self-contrained. I was surprised that I enjoyed using a browser other than Chrome, but it is not so bad compared to Explorer, Edge or Firefox. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It feels a little silly to be switching to an entirely new environment just for work (since I am unlikely to give up Chrome and my Chrome extensions for personal use). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
