## Ironclad Reviews
  ### 1. Simplified Contract Automation With A Reliable Salesforce Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 16, 2022

**What do you like best about Ironclad?**

The technical setup is straightforward, and the Salesforce integration is built really well.

**What do you dislike about Ironclad?**

Editing contract templates could be much easier. Generally, you need to download them, edit in a word doc, then reupload, which can be risky.

**What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Better and more reliable contract data, automation and rules.

**Official Response from Mikaela Waters:**

> We’ve put a lot of work into our Salesforce integration and are thrilled to hear that you and your team find it beneficial.

I’ve linked a resource from our Help Center on Ironclad Editor that outlines recent improvements. Please reach out if this doesn't solve your problem so that we can better help you. Thank you for the review!

  ### 2. Ironclad is an awesome tool that's only going to continue to develop.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeremy M. | Lead Counsel, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2021

**What do you like best about Ironclad?**

I like that it allows me to automate my information-gathering process for my business counterparts. My teammates love not having to manually generate documents, instead simply filling out our form and Ironclad generating the docs for us.

**What do you dislike about Ironclad?**

There are still some technology glitches, including some relating to formatting from our existing templates that we're leveraging in Ironclad. I look forward to Ironclad making further updates to fix these sorts of issues.

**What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm a one-person legal team, and our biz dev team is similarly situated. We all have lots of tasks on our plates, and therefore things like document management and version control are sometimes de-prioritized without the right system in place. Ironclad provides a hub for both managing the document lifecycle from generation through execution. It saves all of us involved lots of time and ensures we have everything saved in one place.

  ### 3. I appreciate the training opportunities and tech support with Ironclad.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2022

**What do you like best about Ironclad?**

I like the repository feature and how easy it is to search for documents.

**What do you dislike about Ironclad?**

I wish I could get same-day tech support. The information is useful, but it takes 24 hours or more to get a response.

**What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping us archive our documents, including older legacy contracts.

  ### 4. Amazing product! Efficiency improvements of over 80% during the contract lifecycle!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jacob G. | B2B Strategy & Operations Generalist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Ironclad?**

Ironclad is the best investment my company has ever made. Our ability to close deals faster has led to higher quarterly revenue generation. The best parts are the simplicity of building out a template and the ability to create and send out a contract in as little as 5 minutes!

**What do you dislike about Ironclad?**

The lack of familiarity from counterparties is sometimes an issue. They sometimes have said they thought what was received was spam. Other times, they weren't sure if they should reply all or reply directly to the initial Ironclad email.

**What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Speed, speed, speed! We are in hypergrowth and have looked for solutions to scale our processes. Ironclad has given us that capability and while doing so has made us understand the importance of having a CLM product in today's virtual world.

  ### 5. Incredible product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Patrick T. | Commercial Counsel, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2021

**What do you like best about Ironclad?**

Ironclad is by far the most impressive product I've seen in the CLM space. They've anticipated every possible design feature in-house attorneys and legal ops professionals could think of. I was super impressed by the potential for automation, but in addition, the Ironclad personnel we've worked with to set up our workflows were incredible teachers. The company and product are first class - would not ever think of using a different vendor.

**What do you dislike about Ironclad?**

Honestly, nothing. This is a tremendous product and the company and customer experience is incredible. It's a sophisticated solution so there is a learning curve, but that's to be expected!

**What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We successfully solved for how to automate the generation of our commercial MSAs, as well as our NDA and vendor contract workflow. This has taken a tremendous load off of the legal team!

  ### 6. Amazing Contracts Platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 09, 2022

**What do you like best about Ironclad?**

Top three things :
1. Collab feature
2. Workflow Build
3. Approval process within the workflow

**What do you dislike about Ironclad?**

Ironclad has ongoing "editor" development that we have yet to see.

**What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reporting developments are very useful and the turn tracking feature!

**Official Response from Mikaela Waters:**

> Thank you for the review! We’ve put a lot of work into Ironclad’s collaboration features, so it is wonderful to hear collaboration called out as one of the things you like best.

I’ve linked a resource from our Help Center on Editor which outlines the feature and recent improvements. Please reach out if this doesn't solve your problem so that we can better help you. Thanks!

  ### 7. Convenient

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2022

**What do you like best about Ironclad?**

It can help manage the whole lifecycle of contracting process.

**What do you dislike about Ironclad?**

There are some functions hard for people to find. The e-signing process does not apply in certain jurisdictions where a company stamp is required to execute a contract.

**What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automatically passing the approved contract to signatory -- avoid the problem with version control when an approved version has to be shared mannually by the sales team.

**Official Response from Mikaela Waters:**

> Thank you for the review! Product feedback and insights from our users are a valuable part of our product development, and we’d like to learn more about how we can better make the platform navigable for users. If you have time, we’d love if you could reach out directly with more details. Thanks!

  ### 8. Great collaboration tool for working with Deal Desk and Legal

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Coley V. | Strategic Account Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2022

**What do you like best about Ironclad?**

Single source of truth for deal documents

**What do you dislike about Ironclad?**

editing documents can sometimes be tricky

**What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeps any client document that is being worked on in a single place for collaboration

  ### 9. Simple Enough but Complex

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Garrett E. | SDR Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Ironclad?**

Ironclad is a great tool to help with contracting & putting together a team capable of speedy approvals. There's freedom & flexibility in where you can drop signatures & make remarks or edits. Extremely helpful in instances of complex contracting & simplifying the buyer's experience on the other side.

**What do you dislike about Ironclad?**

Ironclad, while helpful during complex contracting purposes, seems to be time-consuming & problematic in instances when a simple contract is needed for a client. It isn't particularly difficult; it's simply more time-consuming than sending a simple, pre-configured template where you don't need to drop all the various signature or editing points onto a document.

**What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ironclad simplifies contracting by allowing me to drop in custom fields for clients. It saves a lot of time on complex contracting by tracking the timeline and workflow of important documents.

  ### 10. A great product that just keeps getting better!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2021

**What do you like best about Ironclad?**

Being able to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders with the click of a button. Our team has more visibility on the status of contracts and we can easily loop in anyone who needs to be involved. Ironclad is always looking to improve their product and our suggestions have been implemented on a number of occasions. Ironclad is not a static product, they are always looking to the future and listening to their customers' feedback. The transparency that Ironclad provides on the product roadmap and upcoming features is so helpful as we continue to build out our processes with the new features that Ironclad is always releasing.

**What do you dislike about Ironclad?**

As of now (Nov 2021), there is no integration with the accounting software that we currently use. While Ironclad does support a SalesForce integration, they do not currently have one for NetSuite.

**What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Ironclad, we processed all contracts through email. It was disorganized, chaotic, and incredibly hard to manage. Ironclad allows my team to delegate different contracts to the appropriate team members and easily see which managers have already approved. Instead of 10+ email chains about the SAME contract request, everything lives in the Activity Feed. Ironclad's ability to generate our contracts directly from templates has reduced our workload tremendously as we no longer have to manually create every contract. Our General Counsel can take a bird's eye view of everything we're working on and can easily find status updates in the Activity Feed. Gone are the days of fruitlessly searching Gmail for that one specific email that explains why a certain change was made.

  ### 11. Powerful and invaluable contract management tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2022

**What do you like best about Ironclad?**

Power and flexibility to design wide variety of complex and reliable workflow automations.

**What do you dislike about Ironclad?**

Lack of embedded MS Word functionality means users have to take documents out of the system, relying on manual behaviours and compromising rigour.

**What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automation of key business processes, deep insight into full estate of contracts and easy access to documents when required.

**Official Response from Mikaela Waters:**

> We’re so happy to hear that you’ve been able to build a variety of workflows to power your business. Thank you for the review!

  ### 12. An up and coming Contracts Procurement platform with some kinks to iron out.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 02, 2021

**What do you like best about Ironclad?**

The Signature collection aspect is helpful and very robust, especially now with the ability to change signatories during the stage. The workflow designer aspect is very intuitive and easy to pick up on for those who are fresh to this field and is very useful for adopting a number of different contracting templates onto the platform.

**What do you dislike about Ironclad?**

The aspects of Ironclad that are a bit frustrating are the repository's relatively super linear understanding of contract viewership permissions. For example, the creator of a contract that is marked confidential you'd think would still have viewership access to their record, however, this is not the case as a group needs to be created to grant them viewership if an agreement is marked confidential. The repository needs to be a bit more dynamic to address the needs of large companies who may have a variety of different confidentiality levels between contracts.

Also the Ironclad editor is not very intuitive as it's only useful for simple word changes and one would need to download the document and work on it offline, which defeats the purpose of Ironclad which is to bring all these different processes for contracting together into this platform.

Lastly, the overrall presentation of the platform could use some work, there's some lacking intuitiveness with how the platform is presented.

Lots of potential as a platform but there's still more work that needs to be done to stay miles ahead of any competitors and also be revolutionary in a niched field that hasn't seen alot of innovation up to this point.

**What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's a centralized location for storing our contracts which is great; it also automates (and hopefully will automate more) the administrative work of the end-users, which allows for them to focus more on other work.

The signature collection process has also been beneficial and clarifies some pain points in our current contracting state that we can adjust in the future.

And finally, the workflow designer feature allows us to adopt different contracting templates into the platform because of how dynamic it has become and will become in the future.

  ### 13. Comprehensive CLM Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2022

**What do you like best about Ironclad?**

Ironclad's best features are its workflow designer, contract request intake options, and its repository.

**What do you dislike about Ironclad?**

There are some minor annoyances with the signature step requirements but they are improving on the solution quarterly.

**What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's great for managing all contracts from cradle to grave.

**Official Response from Mikaela Waters:**

> Ironclad’s product is built to support every stage of the contract, so we are thrilled to hear that you’ve been able to use Ironclad to manage contracts from cradle-to-grave.
Please reach out if there is anything we can do to support you with the signature step. Thank you for the review!

  ### 14. Simple; easy to use

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 28, 2021

**What do you like best about Ironclad?**

Ironclad is very easy to understand and use. I was quick to learn how to configure sending documents and collecting approvals and signatures. Ironclad is very responsive and works well.

**What do you dislike about Ironclad?**

It could just be the way my system is configured, but I wish I had a way to receive exactly what my customer receives when they are sent documents. I want to be able to put myself in their shoes so I know if something goes wrong or looks wrong.

**What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ironclad helps my team orchestrate the digital contracting process for sales to recieve approvals from finance and legal and collect signatures on agreement terms and order forms.

  ### 15. Excellent Service Offering

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2021

**What do you like best about Ironclad?**

I like the ability to set guard rails for the individuals at my company who enter into contracts. Ironclad quickens my ability to review contracts, which leads to a faster turnaround time for execution.

**What do you dislike about Ironclad?**

I don't love that contract generators cannot see a mockup of the contract as they answer questions. I also find some of the coding difficult to manage (for example, formatting on a Word file gets broken very easily, and requires manual work to fix/reassemble), but Ironclad support has been very helpful.

**What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're solving the problems of reducing the load on the company's legal department for draft work, ensuring that there is a "common source of truth" for discussions about contracts, and ensuring everyone has access to a singular repository of contracts.

  ### 16. Overall, a good contract management software

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2021

**What do you like best about Ironclad?**

Ironclad is a good tool for redlining and keeping track of document versions. It also has a fairly intuitive and easy-to-use user interface.

**What do you dislike about Ironclad?**

Ironclad has something to be desired when it comes to its purported "clause library" and contracts repository. After the initial intake form is completed for a document, there is a disconnect between what is occurring on paper vs. what is recorded in Ironclad. For example, if a user indicates that a certain governing law will be used when creating the agreement, if a redline occurs that changes the governing law, the user must manually change it (to only a predefined universe) in Ironclad.

**What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping track of contracts and ensuring that contracts that are executed adhere to certain guidelines and policies.

  ### 17. Ironclas Review

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Logistics and Supply Chain | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2022

**What do you like best about Ironclad?**

I like the easy access to Salesforce and being able to generate documents at a touch of a button.

**What do you dislike about Ironclad?**

Editting a document is not intuitive at all. You have to create new versions, know HTML, there is no way to drag and drop fields. There is no guide of adding in new fields and the synatx.

**What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our Sales team have been able to send out contracts at ease once we have set up opportunity products in Salesforce.

  ### 18. Good product, room for improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 02, 2021

**What do you like best about Ironclad?**

The product is great, it meets many of our goals for a CLM tool, and is constantly improving with better and better features. Their customer representatives are great to work with too and very patient.

**What do you dislike about Ironclad?**

The product is too expensive relative to the competition. While it is probably a better product, I don't think they can justify some of the things they charge for, or at least how much they charge for them. Sometimes from a customer service perspective, when we encounter problems or need help, they aren't as attentive as they often are. I've even had entire requests just get ignored or forgotten.

**What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Contract management, data analytics, contract lifecycle management, task management, approvals

  ### 19. Good Workflow Tool

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2021

**What do you like best about Ironclad?**

It is very easy to build and roll out contract templates for your userbase to use to enable self-sufficiency in the business. The approval and signature processes are well liked by my company. The Acivity Feed to capture exchangs between internal and external participants negotiating a contract is very useful and cuts down on emails outside the system.

**What do you dislike about Ironclad?**

Reporting and task management functionality is much better in more mature CLM systems, so if this is a critical point in your requirements, then maybe wait until Ironclad catches up. Administrator funcitonality is also limited and requires tix to Ironclad's support team to do certian things. The Ironclad system considers the reposoitory a seperate side of the system from active contracts so it is hard to see a full contract suite and somehting you should look into if you do multiple SOWs and COs.

**What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Overall it is good tool and will be better as they add more functionality that is standard in other systems.

**Official Response from Mikaela Waters:**

> Thank you for sharing your experience! Feedback, both positive and constructive, is such an important part of product development at Ironclad. Shoot us a message at support@ironcladhq.com if there is ever anything we can do to improve your experience. Thanks!

  ### 20. I've had a really great experience using Ironclad at my company!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mental Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 05, 2022

**What do you like best about Ironclad?**

I really like the customer support that we receive from Ironclad!

**What do you dislike about Ironclad?**

I can't think of anything that I don't like!

**What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ironclad has helped us close so many deals!

  ### 21. Top Tier Document Management Software.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Ironclad?**

For what it is, it is 100% solid. Extremely easy to implement, creating your first workflow is a breeze, and automating it through Salesforce is simple. Both the legal team and sales team enjoy utilizing the software. It brings transparency to the contracting process. Also, their CS team is extremely responsive and helpful.

**What do you dislike about Ironclad?**

Ironclad will hopefully bring in additional features so it can be a robust deal desk platform.

**What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving the past issue of a very manual legal process and document processing. Overall, the approval process is now well structured, and we have minimized inputs from the sales team users.

  ### 22. makes collaborating with legal easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2022

**What do you like best about Ironclad?**

clear document control and collaboration

**What do you dislike about Ironclad?**

nothing so far is negative - will provide an update if so

**What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

clear document control and ease of integration to salesforce

  ### 23. Expensive, but very good

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robert M. | Legal Counsel, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2021

**What do you like best about Ironclad?**

Ironclad is a robust tool for contract management. For the most part, very intuitive. Requires some programming skills to master but overall any reasonably intelligent person can figure it out

**What do you dislike about Ironclad?**

The error messages are not always intuitive to figure out. There is no live support, except when you are first starting.

**What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Havent fully used it yet. Benefits have yet to be determined

  ### 24. Ironclad Onboarding Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Civic & Social Organization | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2021

**What do you like best about Ironclad?**

Informative and result-focused approach, which includes a plethora of resources and insights.

**What do you dislike about Ironclad?**

Wish Google Drive was integrated into IC's repository, so that we could easily port our list of contracts housed in GDrive directly into IC.

**What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Help us move from current internal systems and work streams that rely on personal, siloed ways of retaining and processing information/documentation (which also creeats information gaps across the org) to instituting company-wide solutions for document retention, collaboration, and interoperability of our collective reporting and analytics tools.

  ### 25. Ironclad Grows with Us

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Aviation & Aerospace | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 29, 2021

**What do you like best about Ironclad?**

I like that Ironclad is looking for feedback on ways to grow.

**What do you dislike about Ironclad?**

I dislike the limited amount of control available after the eSignature packet is sent without voiding the packet

**Recommendations to others considering Ironclad:**

This is a great software platform that is constantly growing based on feedback from customers and growing from pushing the envelope of what is possible with contract management software, providing us with features we wouldnt have though to ask for.

**What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

streamlining our NDA process, easier coordinating with team members on contract review

  ### 26. Lead commercial attorney on migration and implementation

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2021

**What do you like best about Ironclad?**

User interface and ease for updating and creating workflows

**What do you dislike about Ironclad?**

<p>Lack of dashboards, limited reporting, no ability for attorneys to comment internally without the client seeing</p>

**Recommendations to others considering Ironclad:**

Ensure to collaborate with a reliable migration vendor as well. You want to ensure that the data you add to the repository is clean.

**What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gathering data in one location to assess volume and determine scaling. It's too early to determine the benefits.

  ### 27. Ironclad Review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christian A. | Account Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2021

  ### 28. I've had a great experience using Ironclad and would recommend to friends and colleagues!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2021

**What do you like best about Ironclad?**

I love the approval capabilities and that it syncs with signing tools to utilize e-signatures.

**What do you dislike about Ironclad?**

I hate how you cannot make many manual changes once a workflow is launched. For example, you cannot remove someone as an approver.

**What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have all of our internal contracts go through IC. Which is great because it's now getting FP&A/dept. head approval before anything gets signed.

  ### 29. So far it's been great

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Staffing and Recruiting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2021

**What do you like best about Ironclad?**

It's helped us to organise and streamline our contract process directly from Salesforce.

**What do you dislike about Ironclad?**

So far, there is nothing to dislike about Ironclad. From the setup to syncing it with Salesforce, it's been a straightforward process.

**What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We need to have transparency over our contracts, from negotiations and a historical database to access. Ironclad solves both of these issues.

  ### 30. Works as intended.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2021

**What do you like best about Ironclad?**

Works as intended. From a user standpoint it makes it a bit more complex to do paperwork but security requires it so it makes sense there are a few more steps than just doing everything manually. From a manager standpoint I prefer this because I know there is not any funky one-off deals happening.

**What do you dislike about Ironclad?**

It's a bit cumbersome to execute everything in the parameters set. And the UI is not very intuitive. It took a lot of trainings to get reps up to speed.

**What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Document Execution. DPA. MSA. Order Forms. MNDA

  ### 31. Highly recommend Ironclad for an easy to use repository and workflow manager!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Semiconductors | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2021

**What do you like best about Ironclad?**

Easy to use.
Great training material and onboarding process.
Ai is a good start.
Very customizable.

**What do you dislike about Ironclad?**

Some minor bugs (site freezes when uploading docs occasionally).
AI still has a way to go in identifying the correct info.

**What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting contract workflow and management out of everyone's emails! Makes audits and searching a lot easier.

  ### 32. Ironclad is the best tool to automate your contracts review process.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katia D. | Legal assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 12, 2021

**What do you like best about Ironclad?**

What I like the most about Ironclad is how easy it is to use the platform. Once you log in you can follow the workflow by instinct, it does not require extensive training. I like that I can send reminders to the counterparty when we need their signature. I like that we can compare the different versions of the agreements and honestly this is time-saving because you can quickly see what were the changes in the agreement. I like how easily you can edit the customer information and it will be changed automatically in the agreement. It is very user friendly.

**What do you dislike about Ironclad?**

The only thing I dislike is that I do not have the option to clear the redlines and change the letter style while I am editing. I would suggest that the platform let us sign the agreement directly in the platform when the counterparty has returned the agreement duly signed when we have had a review process previously.

**Recommendations to others considering Ironclad:**

I highly recommend Ironclad if you want to improve your agreements review process. Nowadays the companies tend to automize their process and agreements are not the exception. With tools like Ironclad you can save time just by sending the agreement and get it back duly countersigned, the platform will generate the automatic signatures and will archive them. It is really fantastic.

**What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have the option to have the statistic of all the agreements reviewed.
I have in one place all the agreement records without going somewhere else.
I can integrate Ironclad with Salesforce and many other apps.
I can leave comments to communicate with the rest of the sales team.

  ### 33. Exciting new tool for our legal department

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrea Y. | Senior Paralegal / Legal Operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2021

**What do you like best about Ironclad?**

I really enjoyed how user-friendly Workflow Designer is

**What do you dislike about Ironclad?**

I'm really looking forward to more AI capabilities for historical contracts

**What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Streamlining the contract review process (it was a very manual process before Ironclad); easier collaboration with departments

  ### 34. The Best Contract Management Software Available!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tiffany G. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 28, 2020

**What do you like best about Ironclad?**

We find Ironclad's simple design, which allows for effortless viewing of all of your contract's metadata tags, a huge help to our organization. Viewing this spreadsheet allows for 100% accuracy when assuring you are not missing any tags. Ironclad is incredibly user-friendly. Even the most technologically challenged can learn the ins and outs of this amazing software!

**What do you dislike about Ironclad?**

It is a huge benefit in Ironclad to have frequent updates. It seems as though as soon as an issue arises, the next week an update comes out as the perfect solution!

**What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ironclad is a simple and effective way to organize all of the contracts within the business. No more document pile up's and loss of important metadata. Every key tag that we keep track of is essential to the future of our organization in one way or another. Whether we are ensuring that no contracts expire or on the search for all contracts signed by a certain individual, we are covered with a simple tag done from the beginning.

  ### 35. Pactsafe Makes Signing Deals so Easy from a Sales and Client Standpoint!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tara F. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 21, 2020

**What do you like best about Ironclad?**

Pactsafe is amazing because I can not only email my client, but also send them the link via text. With a smartphone in literally everyone's pocket these days, it is incredibly convenient for closing deals in one call. It eliminates the need for endless follow ups where I am chasing a client for days. The form is super easy to fill out and sign on both sides- from a salesperson perspective, as well as a client perspective!

**What do you dislike about Ironclad?**

When I need to edit something or edit terms of an agreement that I am sending out, sometimes things I have entered previously into the fields will not save. This creates a lot of extra work on my end, filling out things I've already filled out, wasting time, and messing with my probability of closing a deal extremely quickly, which is important as I work with restaurant and business owners who need to do things ASAP.

**What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am solving problems on the daily - some previous apps we have used to send agreements were kind of clunky, and would error out. Not quite as easy as Pactsafe to use. Clients also had a hard time completing it on their phone, Pactsafe has made that much easier! I can also increase urgency in signing agreements and closing deals, because I can make certain terms or promotions expire with Pactsafe. I love how easy it makes closing deals on the fly.

  ### 36. Not intuitive and cumbersome

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Ironclad?**

It keeps an audit trail on legal trail between Legal and Sales

**What do you dislike about Ironclad?**

It is not at all intuitive. It does not send notifications so when Legal has created or updated a document for Sales, nothing notifies Sales that it is ready.

**Recommendations to others considering Ironclad:**

It does an adequate job of tracking legal documents. However, it does not send notifications to sales, so you have to continuously check to see if Legal has responded to your case.

**What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Processing and recording Legal documents for customers and partners.

  ### 37. It's meh.

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Ironclad?**

Thorough documentation of process from end-to-end

**What do you dislike about Ironclad?**

Not very user-friendly, which discourages Sales from using it properly.

**What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Document and contract management. It's a great way to track changes in a document's lifestyle

  ### 38. Makes the contact process quick and easy with Salesforce

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2021

**What do you like best about Ironclad?**

Makes sending and updating contracts super easy and everything flows back to Salesforce seamlessly

**What do you dislike about Ironclad?**

Wish you could edit small things like an address or signer without having to retract the whole contract and start over

**What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

makes the contract process quicker, more efficient, and way easier to track with my customers.

  ### 39. Ironclad for the win

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jill L. | Senior Contract Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2020

**What do you like best about Ironclad?**

Ironclad allows complete transparency for where all of our deals are in the contracting process and steps/approvals that have been obtained. Every user has access to see where deals may be "stuck". The repository has been extremely helpful for users to find documents executed.

**What do you dislike about Ironclad?**

We often have deals that aren't dead, but need to be put on hold for several months. There's currently not a way to move them out of the active workflow - although it's a feature they are coming out with soon I believe.

**Recommendations to others considering Ironclad:**

Ironclad has had a huge positive impact on our organization. Having visibility outside of email for contracts has been a very valuable tool for us.

**What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using Ironclad for approvals before contracts are executed; storage for all legal documents; tracking workflow for the legal team.

  ### 40. Beautifully designed and easy to collaborate between different teams

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** ⛳️ Nick A. | Senior Customer Revenue Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2020

**What do you like best about Ironclad?**

Making edits in realtime within the platform and not having to download it offline instead. Tagging stakeholders for comments and feedback. The robust workflow and approval process, and transparency overall.

**What do you dislike about Ironclad?**

I really wish there was a mobile app for Ironclad. I don't always have my laptop with me and it would be nice to at least see progress towards the creation and approval of a legal document. I understand how editing may not be as easy to do in a mobile environment, but at least reviewing or approving and commenting would be nice.

**What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Collaboration and transparency between legal, sales, and customer support when we're trying to quickly get an amendment, contract, or any legal document out the door. It has improving SLAs and speed of response and completion time by at least 25%.

  ### 41. Makes communicating with legal easy!

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jared B. | Enterprise Customer Success Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2021

**What do you like best about Ironclad?**

Ironclad has taken the headache out of working cross functionally with our intnernal legal team.

**What do you dislike about Ironclad?**

I think it can be a little clunk in terms of understanding who the current owner is as ownership transitions during a projects lifecycle.

**What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem we were solving was legal queue prioritization and general communication to streamline the process outside of email.

  ### 42. Designed with a focus on features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Megan T. | Director of Product Managenent, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 25, 2020

**What do you like best about Ironclad?**

Ironclad makes it easy to design contract templates. Now with their workflow designer, logic and customization is even easier. It allows us to more easily scale our business and track all of our activity for customer legal documents in a repository.

**What do you dislike about Ironclad?**

The only thing I'd like to see improve is if Ironclad actually built in the signing features (currently you have to use DocuSign, Hello Sign, or some other product). This would truly allow you to control every step of the process in a seamless way. However, it works as is, and it's not really a dislike of a current feature but rather a wishlist request.

**Recommendations to others considering Ironclad:**

Use it!

**What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Minimizing user error, setting controls and approvals and enabling our internal team to be quick and efficient when process/legal changes come up. also, non-legal team members are able to jump in and help drive development of new templates/workflows since Ironclad's interface and functionality is so easy to use and simply designed

  ### 43. A Review of Ironclad From a Current Customer

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elliot R. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 25, 2020

**What do you like best about Ironclad?**

(I have been offered a $25 gift card byG2 to write this review but my opinions are my own)

Ironclad is a great platform that is both business user and legal user friendly. It integrates well with Salesforce, has a very good contract generation platform, and is great with signing authority and review logic and functions. Overall, it is the best platform that I have seen for contract management and they are great with customer service. I would recommend them to companis that are just starting with their contract management to companies who are looking for a more complete solution.

**What do you dislike about Ironclad?**

There are still features that Ironclad hasn't built out yet that I wish it had including the ability to insert pictures in an agreement through the standard generation process, a clause library, and standardized metadata tags. Hopefully, we will see some of these features added in the near future as I think they will really help the company create a more complete contract management system

**What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We solve our contract generation, electronic signature, contract storage, and internal communication process around contracts with Ironclad.

  ### 44. Innovative and flexible solution for managing contracts

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 28, 2020

**What do you like best about Ironclad?**

During the configuration phase, prior to launch I appreciated how seamlessly I was able to load all company contracts into the system and how easily I could create workflows by myself without being at the mercy of developers doing it for me. Post-launch, I love to how collaborative the tool is and how requesters and approvers can engage in the tool to resolve all contract-related matters.

**What do you dislike about Ironclad?**

The system should enhance it's vendor management functionality as the search feature doesn't quite do it. For example, having contracts belonging to the same vendor collapsed under a centralized vendor page with a consistent naming scheme, and a snapshot of the contracts entered into with that vendor would help orgs connect the dots. I would also appreciate an admin dashboard to see what contracts are active, expiring, etc.

**What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ironclad is helping our organization to manage tight controls around various contract requests/workflows, and to produce push button reports for corporate governance reasons.

  ### 45. A Solid Tool with Great Customer Service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2020

**What do you like best about Ironclad?**

The people, first - the Ironclad team is amazing and responsive, and has been extremely patient and receptive as we integrate this tool. The repository capabilities are super helpful for tracking key data like dates and payment terms in our agreements. The application is user-friendly and intuitive, and has reduced our contract review time and eliminated the need for tracking agreement status within an email inbox.

**What do you dislike about Ironclad?**

Not much! The integration with Adobe Sign isn't as robust as we'd like yet, and the ability to make attached documentation to a parent agreement searchable is something we have presented to the Ironclad team. This said, the team has been receptive to these requests, and with each update, the tool improves!

**Recommendations to others considering Ironclad:**

clearly define the terms that you wish to track in your agreements at the onset and carry those terms in the same way across all agreements as much as possible.

**What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had no consistent document retention records, and no way to track key dates and terms, both of which are entirely solved by Ironclad. The consistency of having the repository record and the automatic archival into our Egnyte system has been game changing, and it is allowing us to integrate our new capabilities brought via Ironclad to solve other problems in our developing enterprise applications.

  ### 46. Great experience so far!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Utilities | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 21, 2020

**What do you like best about Ironclad?**

Ironclad has helped our business gain a better understanding of our contracts and helped us structure a seamless review process. The ironclad tool is intuitive and always evolving and improving allowing non legal stakeholders ease of use and buy in. Ironclad also gives the business the opportunity to take control of their workflows and make quick changes which is vital in a growing business.

**What do you dislike about Ironclad?**

Ironclad requires some improvement around updating older workflows with some of the newer features. We currently rely on Ironclads support team to implement changes but with their new workflow designer we hope this can be a thing of the past!

**What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to keep a track of our contracts where we had no oversight of this before. Having a centralised repository for the business has been invaluable. It has also helped create accountability and ownership for contracts.

  ### 47. Ironclad has helped automate otherwise complicated processes

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2020

**What do you like best about Ironclad?**

I enjoy the conditional logic features within the workflow builder. I’m able to create complicated yet streamlined workflows that don’t overwhelm our internal users.

**What do you dislike about Ironclad?**

I would like better handling of template formatting. The main example being that I currently have to make a table for signature blocks so that the formatting doesn’t get altered once uploaded as a document template. I’d also love for more of the custom workflow abilities to be available in workflow designer. The main example being more intuitive approval and archiving assignments.

**What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We’ve been able to automate a lot of existing flows and create a centralized system for saving all agreements. The automation has led to a major reduction in issues that would typically arise with human error—lack of signature dates, lack of review from Legal prior to execution, documents not being properly saved in our repository, etc.

  ### 48. Easy Management for Terms and Conditions

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Heidi Elaine D. | Senior Product Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2020

**What do you like best about Ironclad?**

Developer-wise it's really easy to implement, and business-wise it seems very easy to add/update terms and conditions.

**What do you dislike about Ironclad?**

We had an issue with PactSafe about six months ago where they started expiring links sooner without warning us, so their notifications could use some update. Since then though, their customer service has been on point in helping us get any links that had been expired.

**What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All terms and conditions and managing any legal issues with contracts; it's very easy to see when a contract was signed and ensure that they saw the Ts and Cs

  ### 49. Ironclad leading the way on contract automation and AI efficiencies for in-house counsel

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2020

**What do you like best about Ironclad?**

Like any good software, IC has designed simplicity into complex automation. The value is quickly seen with stakeholder implementation and adoption -- even with very complex (but high-frequency) agreements.

**What do you dislike about Ironclad?**

Very minor nits around spacing / formatting resulting from drafting originals in word.

**What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automating long-hanging fruit of repeated contract tasks and improving speed of approvals with conditional approvals around delegation of authority.

  ### 50. Ironclad is a great contracts management tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Practice | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 20, 2020

**What do you like best about Ironclad?**

There are many features that I appreciate about Ironclad. Mainly, being able to create our own workflows, but also being able to request customized workflows for in-bound contracts. Manage our metadata and think about how our company wants to manage our contracts, filing system.
I like that Ironclad is constantly. making updates and changes based on customer feedback. I like it has its own repository functionality. The integration is fantastic and a plus.

**What do you dislike about Ironclad?**

I would love better reporting, metrics, and being able to control access to certain confidential workflows.

**Recommendations to others considering Ironclad:**

If you want a tool that manages your company's contracts, Ironclad is the way to go.

**What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a company, we are always trying to solve problems within Ironclad, but the biggest obstacle that has been achieved is getting all of our contracts in one accessible location. Having it being used the one tool to launch and review contracts, and manage our metadata.
