Everything was just saved in folders. Information was hard to find. I like how I can have a dashboard that lets me see where the contracts are at each step of the way. It has made the user adoption journey as easy as possible which has made all the difference in identifying immediate impact on the business. The flexibility, the templates, the playbooks, the ease of interface and the metrics tracking are all excellent. **What do you dislike about Ironclad?** There is no user-admin role, only a full administrator role. This means that any employee with the credentials to on- and off-board users can also access workflow designer and the entire contract library. We are rolling this tool out on an enterprise basis and typically for enterprise tools we contract to a third party to handle setting up the SSO and platform onboarding. However, that is too much of a security risk without a limited administrator role that only handles people and can't access the substance of what is on the platform. I am sure this will be solved in the future, but for now, having to manually onboard users has slowed our rollout. **Recommendations to others considering Ironclad:** This is an excellent tool that excels at the most important thing - user experience and user interface. Adoption of the tool has been very high because of its ease of use. There is a need for some additional administrative tools to be developed, but they are in the pipeline. Overall, exceptionally happy with this implementation. **What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are automating contracting, driving more transactions to our company paper, and making the coordination across the legal department, the sales department, and the sourcing department more seamless. We are also standardizing risk tolerance and creating self-service playbooks that are improving velocity in our BAU transactions and helping to drive growth. ### 32. In addition, I have limited ability to notify signees from my organization on a contract to be coming their way for signatures (apart from the activity feed). **What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?** The multiple stakeholders involved in each process gain full visibility of the stages of the process, have the ability to collaborate in the same environment, have the ability to choose the proper type of agreement for their exact needs, and get insights into the progress of each task. This reduces the interim communications that otherwise would have happened on multiple channels, gives certainty and assurance that the task is handled, and creates an environment where everyone has their eyes on the ball. ### 35. Most of our contracts use standard templates, and it is great to have an easy-to-use launch form to generate our contracts. Our producers love it because they already have the deal terms and they can input the data directly into the agreements for themselves without needing to relay the terms separately to me. It saves me time because now I can focus purely on negotiating the deals instead of drafting them. My boss loves it because she can countersign agreements with a few simple clicks. Some contracts have been fully executed within an hour whereas it would usually take days! The signed documents are stored automatically in our Dropbox, so it's easy to access. So far it's been a great experience with Ironclad! **What do you dislike about Ironclad?** Ironclad says that the online platform is good for making very basic edits to documents before sending, but I guess I really underestimated how basic the edits could be. Setting up the templates in the system can be challenging for this reason because if I realize too late my Word document isn't set up perfectly, I have to delete the template, make the edits in Word, and re-upload and re-tag everything. I hope Ironclad allows for some more advanced edits to documents within their system, like being able to press the tab key on numbered lists. **Recommendations to others considering Ironclad:** Ironclad seems to be the most intuitive compared to similar products. It may be frustrating in the beginning getting things set up, but trust the process. **What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?** The first problem that we solved was the speed at which it took us to generate contracts and get them signed. The turnaround, as such, has been a lot faster using the launch form and the automated signature packet. Also, the repository and metadata have been incredibly useful because they serve as a summary of our deal terms without needing to read the full contract, the filters make it easy to locate the contract you need, and it also provides useful data you can then analyze from a birdseye view. ### 42. The product team and development teams are highly responsive and listen to their customer's needs. I've never met someone that I don't like who works for Ironclad! Automatic email notifications on process step completion and preprogrammed approval steps are key tools; Activity Feed is a key internal negotiation tool. New Clause Library Playbook feature is a great way to allow our business teams a degree of independence before needing legal feedback. **What do you dislike about Ironclad?** Workflow address gets filtered to spam which causes our counterparties to sometimes miss communications, and it is currently not possible to insert formatted/bulleted text or tables into the template draft intake, it must be done manually after launch. No date notification settings on active workflows (due dates, etc). Some of the search functionality could be improved. **Recommendations to others considering Ironclad:** Implement in steps, it helps with adoption but also allows you to apply key learnings you gain during the process. Start with less than a dozen key metadata elements you want to collect; you will be somewhat surprised what you actually reference when all is complete. **What problems is Ironclad solving and how is that benefiting you?** Ironclad has solved a number of productivity and communication challenges by providing a consistent platform with full transparency and has allowed us scalability of the process along the way. Our process time for agreements, from draft to full execution, has been reduced drastically in the last two years. Additionally, it has provided us with clear data to review and report on regarding contract processes, which has allowed us to make informed and productive process decisions. It has allowed our legal team to have overall visibility and manage risk appropriately while allowing our business to move fast and unimpeded. ### 43.
