We eliminated the doubt that high quality digital signage software can be run on SOC TV, eliminating the need for an external media player for most cases. The companion cell phone app (runs in a browser) iDS Cast enables easy setting up of display, signage project publishing and live dynamic content update on displays running iDS signage software. While the iDS software is categorized as a Digital Signage software, it does much more than that. It is capable of implementing digital workflows, virtual receptionist, touch interactive kiosk, and kiosk with audio / video call capabilities using our Aldo platform. iDS software is offered as a Web application too, running on all modern browsers and there is an iDS app for Samsung Tizen platform too. iRevo is based in Silicon Valley, California and is in business for over a decade offering a variety of SaaS platforms and applications that includes; in addition to iDS iRevo Digital Signage software, Aldo Contact Center, Aldo Call Agent, Aldo AI Agent, and OTT + Live TV Streaming software. ## iRevo Digital Signage Pros & Cons **What users like:** - Users value the **responsive customer support** from iRevo, ensuring quick resolutions to setup and licensing issues. Professional Look and Feel **Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** keane S. | Communications Specialist and Digital Content Creator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2024 **What do you like best about iRevo Digital Signage?** Being able to access iRevo remotely to chage and update multiple display screens was the number one reason why we chose the software. I am currently the sole user of the software and, having a lot of experience with several different web and content design platforms, I found this software fairly easy to use. For someone with less tech literacy, it might take a bit longer to catch on. Any issues I had in terms of set up, obtaining licenses, etc, were met and handled by Russ and his team at iRevo in a very timely manner. We currently have software running on six screens, with plans to integrate at least 8-10 more screens when the hardware is installed. We primarly use it for menus in our venues, and to disply digital messaging regarding events. Set up is relatively easy; the only issues I experienced had to do with the wireless on our end, and the fact that all of the screens the software is installed on are consumer-grade. I suspect that many things like screen savers, idle screen shut down, and casting abilities from third-parties will be minimal on commercial-grade screens. Scheduling programming is relatively easy as well, although I have yet to tackle multiple project scheduling which would really help streamline the amount of messaging that occurs any given week. **What do you dislike about iRevo Digital Signage?** I think the content creator within the software would benefit from a refresh. It could be easier to use and implement within the program templates. It's fairly intutive and familar (it is similar to Canva and Adobe Express), but there could be a few more features and tools to use, as well as assets like photos, graphics, etc. **What problems is iRevo Digital Signage solving and how is that benefiting you?** Working in a large school educating hospitality and tourism students, there are multiple programs that have anything from live venues and restaurants to special events and industry partnerships. We need to be able to display all sorts of information like daily menus, event notcies, and storytelling. ### 2. I had chance to contact support when I needed assistance, and the gentelman assisting me was so pleasant and helpful. **What do you dislike about iRevo Digital Signage?** Found no reason to complaint so far, I had assistance with an issue I had and it was dealt with in a very professional manner.
