The phone tree, ability to share numbers, and fax in the same place as phone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is very tedious to send messages (enter function doesn't send it and required an extra click of hitting a button. The vendor is not forthcoming about limitations due to VPN (several VPN providers block VOIP ports), so if you need to use VPN for other purposes, it becomes a cumbersome exercise. iPlum does not support non-standard VOIP ports. Support is tactical but do not get the business big picture. I wish I had done more thorough research prior to signing up for an annual plan and probably would have gone with another vendor.
But most importantly, this company has no ethics and is simply a money grab. I highly recommend you stay away as I learned the hard way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Dear User, We would love to help our clients. As we explained during live support calls with you that iPlum works with or without VPN. Many of our professional clients regularly use VPNs and it works fine. These clients vary from few lines to few hundred lines per account. We never have to change ports of our service to accommodate VPNs. Your VPN should pass-through this traffic. Messaging is designed so that it is HIPAA complaint with safeguards which our clients like. It makes sure you don’t inadvertently copy/paste and send some text while on another screen on the computer. If you have any technical questions, please let us know and we will help you.
Best
