Ion interactive is capable of creating a wide variety of interactive content - and has a large library of templated approaches to this content. This allows you to create a wide selection of interactive content - everything from animated infographics to calculators and quizzes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is not immediately straightforward how to use the tools, whilst the graphics designer part is straightforward to any who have used an WYSWIG editor - the power of the tool lies in the more complex part of the system. This is not straight forward and requires a fair bit of time and patience to fill out!

The thing that we love most about ION is the ability to easily roll out landing pages seamlessly to a large number of clients at once. We love the dynamic features that are available, and it's amazing that we can dynamically create tons of different landing pages by using data from our spreadsheets. ION has a lot of great features and benefits that it can offer, and sometimes you might need to do a little bit of research to figure out how to do specific things. Because they have so many features available, sometimes you might need to work with their support team to do specific stuff. But its worth it, and their support team is great! Ion makes creating interactive content for my team easy for me as a graphic designer without much coding experience. The interface itself is relatively easy to learn, and the educational materials they provide are everything you need to train yourself. The absolute best part about Ion is the support team. They are willing the chat you through any problem that comes up, and will even help figure out what went wrong and how to fix it. Their team goes above and beyond, being incredibly kind and helpful. We had trouble gathering and implementing the data from our quizzes and forms but could use forms from Pardot to integrate with our marketing interface seamlessly. I also wish the ability to affect multiple elements with the same styles at the same time was easier. It is still much faster and more effective than any other platform I have tried. Some of the trainings are outdated. When they updated their platform, they removed certain elements (i.e. templates) that I found helpful before and were also mentioned in the trainings. Ion is easy to use. I especially like their variety of templates, which make launching a landing page faster. Getting used to the program takes a little time, but that's every software. Can't say I like much. The staff are nice but often we feel nickeled and dimed when we hit a snag and they say that to fix the issue, we'll need to bill us for custom solution. The solution is very complex. There's a steep learning curve but eventually you get the hang of it. It's stable for simple use cases but has its share of limitations. It's also quite expensive. Ion has empowered myself and my team to be able to customize and scale landing pages. It takes a little while getting used to the system, but now I can teach anyone how to utilize the platform, even in a non-coding role. The support team has been great over the past few years we've been engaged with them. We had a few technical issues in the past 6 months that we had to wait for their engineers to fix but those were the only ones in about a 3 year relationship. They added a few more great quick start pages and elements, I do wish there were a few more to choose from though. It would be nice if it integrated into some out of the box reporting platforms like some of their competitors do but over all I love the platform and their team.
