It allows crisis teams to meet around the issue and quickly set an action plan and follow the execution. **What do you dislike about iObeya?** Maybe the price of solution. For instance, we have been able to deliver an Engine development project involving resources from US, EU and Japan. The project was crashed before using iObeya and Visual Management technics. The asynchrone and synchone communication has been a clear enabler. We also use iObeya for problem solving and quality crisis. It is relaly powerfull as it allows to collaborate immediatly by creating a task force team even people are not collocated. With the COVID-19, we successfully kept our objectives even if homework has been generalized in most of the countries. ### 5. Also, for some settings (training/workshop) the "fixed size" boards are limiting. Some competitors have an infinite canvas, this would have been helpful. That is to say, they can work together in any size group individually or at the same time. For example, I can provide a visual background of the project or tool that we are using. Participants can add their own notes: questions, comments, final input. iObeya is a playground of voices. In the end, I can group like comments and download them into a report and share with the whole team. Team Leaders can take the input as a whole and create a communication or write their final reports. **What do you dislike about iObeya?** In the past, I have had difficulty getting individual accounts onto iObeya. There is no provision for "guests" to interact. I also get feedback from participants that putting notes on a board "is not intuitive". I have solved that criticism by offering alternate versions. iObeya is the preferred tool in the collaboration space like this. **Recommendations to others considering iObeya:** If you are looking for a visual collaboration tool, consider iObeya. It is useful to immediately translate any physical reporting such as whiteboard or spreadsheet. It best use case is to place visual notes that create conversation. If you already have a vibrant in-person meeting and want to invite remote participants, iObeya is a very good solution. **What problems is iObeya solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have used iObeya to communicate and coordinate Annual Strategy with more than a dozen sites (200 people) simultaneously. We had over 400 questions submitted and answered by the Strategy Leaders. I used 3 tools to setup my training exercises and games. But with iObeya, my life is simplified. iObeya is very easy to setup and easy to learn by new participants. SAFe trainings have many simulation exercise like PI planning, Problem Solving ,Retrospection .And iObeya is quite equipped to run them. This makes learning quite an engaging and fruitful experience. 2. After training when teams started their journey on Agile /SAFe , needed real tool to engage teams from different geographies to plan together and collaborate on regular basis. iObeya helped us making teams effective and continue business. We always heard about Lean and Agile methodologies, but when it comes to the field of R&D with Engineering development of Hardware, it's quite difficult to make it happen. I would say that iObeya helps to make it come true by facilitating the practical aspects. **What do you dislike about iObeya?** Even if a lot of functions are available and you can personalize boards, cards and a lot of accessories, sometimes you would like to go deeper and get another function and you can't do exactly the thing you would like. But the iObeya team is very customer centric, and is always listening to our need or usage. It allows contribution from colleagues worldwide and a different times. I like how easy it is to train people on iObeya and also the videos provided are great. It also provides a great platform for teamwork and brainstorming. It can easily be changed at any stage to include new boards or to suit the needs of the business. **What do you dislike about iObeya?** It would be great if an email notification could be sent to people to tell them that they are part of a project or to remind them about milestones. On site, we use many different software's to complete our daily tasks. Unless you login to iObeya, you don't know what you need to do. Also, it would be great if iObeya could connect with excel to take data from spreadsheets instead of manually inputting data. **Recommendations to others considering iObeya:** It has been very beneficial to our company. Metrics that fall outside of thresholds which you set, trigger the user to generate action cards that can be escalated to a tracker in their own or someone else's board! The ability to import various types of cards into a board saves a ton of time when you are trying to pre-populate a board. Although the background catalogue is fairly extensive, the ability to build custom backgrounds with power point is a definite plus! **What do you dislike about iObeya?** For use in North America it would be beneficial to have dates represented mm-dd-yyyy rather than dd-mm-yyyy. An endless canvas board larger than the current limit of 4A0 would have its merits as well. When I kicked off a team to use its visual management capabilities I would make a 2-3 minute video using a screen capture tool and send to the team. This video and a short demo was all that was needed for a majority of the users to be up and running effectively on iObeya. When using the collaboration / digital whiteboard capabilities we just did a short demo and quick practice round before starting a brainstorming activity. This was all that was required. As an internal consultant trying to get 100+ users on iObeya this made my job very easy and led to quick adoption of the tool.
