What do you like best about invideo?

InVideo is an excellent video editing tool that we used to create our product explanation video. Its templates helped us a lot in creating a professional-looking video without the need for extensive video editing skills. The drag-and-drop interface made it easy to create custom animations, text overlays, and music tracks. The variety of templates, backgrounds, and stock footage made it easy to create a video that was unique to our brand. "Simple and versatile video creation tool"

What do you like best about invideo?

I love the plethora of templates and the ease of customization.

InVideo has a massive collection of assets, including premium images and footage from industry stalwarts like Shutterstock and iStock, that can be used to customize the existing templates or to create your own videos from scratch.

I mostly default to the full editor when creating social media content for my own business, but for my clients, the templates help get started quickly and get them professional results without needing to be photography or design experts. I've found that using a template helps unlock creativity even in people who think they aren't creative - I'd say they've just been using the wrong tools!

The built-in text-to-video generator is pretty good, too. It's easy to convert long-form blog posts into full-length videos. I can then quickly repurpose that longer video by pulling out shorter clips that can be used for social media posts.

The videos are fully customizable. You can add emojis, filters, animated scene transitions, effects and animated objects to your project to make your videos more visually interesting. Be careful not to overdo it, though - a little goes a long way. Yes, I'm old enough to remember those nasty blinking, flashing websites from the early 2000s! What do you dislike about invideo?

My favourite pet peeve? Not being able to "save" things in folders for future use. I often stumble upon footage or images that are extremely compelling but there's no way to save them - and there's no guarantee I'll remember the exact search that found them in the first place.

Also - the sheer *number* of templates in this software can feel overwhelming. There are literally hundreds to choose from, and it's easy to spend a lot of time poring over the options. My recommendation is to plan out your script first: that will tell you the kind of template to look for. Once you've picked a template, don't second-guess yourself - just go ahead and customize it and hit Export. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is invideo solving and how is that benefiting you?

I create videos all the time, both for my own business promotions and for my clients.

InVideo has become my number 1 tool for creating promo videos quickly and efficiently. Even the newest members of my team are able to crank out custom videos for our clients without much training.

The ability to give my clients custom videos with full branding services makes the video marketing service an easy sell.

One of the things we liked most about this solution is its intuitive user interface and its wide range of features that allow us to create high-quality videos to promote the products and services offered by the organization in a much more dynamic and effective way. Something I like about this tool is its library of templates, there are many professionally designed options to choose from, and they are adjustable to suit our needs. I also love that it has many editing tools, from adding text and effects to adjusting the rhythm and music. What problems is invideo solving and how is that benefiting you?

My agency has searched high and low for a cloud video editing/composition tool that is fast, easy to use, works with our hybrid on-site and remote team, and has good creative output. This tool does all of that. It's also popular in the freelance community, which means we can hire someone overseas to make us a template quickly for not much money, and then tweak it with our in-house team that's more experienced to make it perfect. And while the editor isn't as sophisticated as FCP, it's easy for everyone on our team to use, and you can accomplish quite a bit with it.

But there are problems: A huge variety of templates means it's hard to find the best one quickly. We spend a silly amount of time hunting for templates that are the right combination of size/format and creative...a search tool that allowed us to filter results by format is sorely needed. Likewise, the project management system isn't super helpful to remote teams working on lots of projects concurrently, as our workspace fills up fast.

And if your credit card number changes for some reason, get ready for some torture. The support team would rather sell you an upgrade than tell you how to update your card number - I wasted an hour on something that should have taken 2 minutes.

Still, despite my irritation at support and their borderline useless template search function, it's a decent tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
