The ease of connection it offers to users is due to the fact that it provides a way to connect through a web interface or an installed client. **What do you dislike about Inuvika OVD Enterprise?** We have found it to be a useful tool, and we cannot find a disadvantage. We could point out that the administration interface is simple and perhaps its appearance could be improved a bit to be more user-friendly for the administrator. **What problems is Inuvika OVD Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?** Security when granting access to a server so that a user can work on their applications is often compromised due to human errors when providing direct RDP access. We forget to manage the security and permissions for users. With Inuvika, we have solved this problem. Access from anywhere in the world without fearing that our server will be directly accessed and manipulated by third parties, because with the web interface of their platform, I don't have to publish the server directly on the internet. ### 2. We have been using OVD for many years since they were a startup company. Inuvika has been very supportive of the platform and we have worked well together throughout our time. I can say that it is a very functional system for our end users. **What do you dislike about Inuvika OVD Enterprise?** The only thing I can say that a dislike is the time zone difference between Inuvika engineers and ours. We have to jump around time zones a lot to get things done. I can not say there I do not like the platform in any way it has worked well for us over the years and has encouraged us to embark on a new business venture. **What problems is Inuvika OVD Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?** The biggest thing that is solved with using OVD and a way to avoid the high costs of VDI's that are offered through companies like Cirtix. We get the functionality of Citrix without the headache we moved from Citrix to OVD. ### 3. If you have all your systems in place, you can be up and running in a production-ready environment in less than 1 hour. You do not need to deploy a multitude of VMs per user either, so your server footprint is considerably smaller than in traditional VDI solutions. It is easy to manage as well. **What do you dislike about Inuvika OVD Enterprise?** The only complaint I have about OVD is the administration interface can feel a little "dated" and all over the place at first, however once you have become familiar with it you quickly forget about this, and you can focus on streaming your apps to end users. **What problems is Inuvika OVD Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?** There are multiple ways to interact with your applications. In some instances, it is so refreshing just to be able to use a browser to connect to applications and get work done from anywhere with a desktop experience. It also has excellent security features such as two-factor authentication, making it safe to use in remote access environments. **What do you dislike about Inuvika OVD Enterprise?** I feel that companies have a high hurdle in hiring. I feel that if there is a free license, such as a free license for up to 10 concurrent users, there will be a lot of adoption. **What problems is Inuvika OVD Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?** Telework is encouraged in Japan. We would like to avoid exposing the company intranet system directly to the Internet for security reasons. Applying security patches to each system and conducting vulnerability assessments would incur enormous operational costs. Especially with the seamless app integration onto the desktop of your client device. Also supports USB redirection and high-end graphics. It is Linux-based and needs less infrastructure. It is multi-tenant enabled which is great for MSP customers looking to delivers Apps-as-a-Service. It allows you to quicky and easily deliver applications to end users regardless of the end point device. Perfect for remote working and also allows devices to be reused as they don't need the local power, or for end users to buy a lower cost device. As an independent consultant it provides me with an option to give my clients all the features they need but at a much lower cost as they need less infrastructure and fewer Windows licenses. For us as a company we have a lot of Windows oriented engineers. How to set everything up and the speed with which is can be setup. Depending on your environment this is definitely a solution to always keep in mind. **What do you dislike about Inuvika OVD Enterprise?** We struggled with our installation, but that was due to customer not willing to open up all the ports required. It can take some configuration to get it working as you want it to. **What problems is Inuvika OVD Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?** It solves the problem with all the hardware required. If you have the correct specifications for the servers and storage needs, then you can use any old desktop or Pi device to run the VDI on as it does not require a pc with a lot of resources as is get's it's resources from the servers. ### 10.
