When it takes hours to complete a form because you can't find the input screen or its not in a logical place that an accountant or master of tax would think it should be its just not worth it. I wish there was some more flexibility with the client organizers. A sharable link to their organizer could be helpful. a Place for the clients to upload their personal (name addresses, socials, dependents information, etc. ) would also be helpful. I find there are entry areas that are buried and not easy to find. Not only that, once you find them, they weren't in a very logical place. State information can be even worse for this issue. It would be nice if they had more hours for customer service during tax season. I do taxes after regular 8-5 hours and it is difficult to get support when it is not a regular work day schedule. I like the pricing of intuit proconnect tax. I also like how you can import data easily when you upload documents. Its easy for clients to upload documents into a secure portal. The customer support is really proficient in guiding people on how to get rid of e filing critical diagnostics and really knows how to deal with errors. Amending a return has become easier. Reviewing overrides and suggestions. I wish there was a way to fast click multiple overrides or suggestions and cross them all off at once. There could be an added section that is just "informative" because there are a lot of suggestions that are just stating a fact and not really asking for implying action needed. After switching from Drake, I’ve found ProConnect Tax to be a better fit for my work. I love the cloud-based access, which lets me manage returns from anywhere without worrying about installations or updates. At AppSequent Technologies, we were contracted to build a financial management dashboard for a German American Tax advisory firm. For their tax operations, we implemented Intuit ProConnect Tax as the core filing and compliance engine. For me, the standard experience was how easily it was to onboard their preparers to the platform. The client collaboration tools, specially the secure document upload and real time data sync were useful in reducing client onboarding time. We also appreciate the integration with QuickBook and Excel, which helped us quickly import large volumes of financial records. While ProConnect worked well overall, I encountered integration limitations where I was trying to connect with the third-party CRM software the firm was using (Zoho CRM). The most helpful part of using ProConnect for me is the secure link, which is provided by intuit in the software, for my clients to share sensitive documents and review things. It is very similar to Intuit Lacerte tax software. It is a full and robust tax software that can handle 99.9% of all federal & state tax forms and all taxpayer types (individual, S-Corporation, Partnership, C-Corporation, etc.), Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Although ProConnect Tax does use INTUIT LINK, it is not the same as the INTUIT LINK when you login at the website. When you log into INTUIT LINK through the website (and not use it through ProConnect Tax) none of your clients are there. I prefer to use INTUIT LINK through the website and NOT through ProConnect Tax since it is much easier and has much more capabilities. We heavily any rely on Intuit ProConnect Tax to streamline client document collection, calculate returns and e-file submissions. While overall the product is quite polished, but during the same use case, we faced some challenges during implementation, specially around setting up user role and permissions across different prepares.
