What do you like best about Intuit Lacerte Tax?

My favorite part of Intuit Lacerte tax is the opportunity to customize display columns between each client type. For example, because we have multiple tax preparers in this office, it makes it very simple to organize our displays to have the staff preparer next to the client's name. Along with that we use a few other status codes that help us keep track of where we are at with each client with date stamps automatically cueing in. Another thing I truly enjoy is the filter option. With many staff preparers comes mutiple tax returns. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Intuit Lacerte Tax?

Something I struggle with at times is the fact that there is no automatic software updates. When we were in peak tax seasons, there would be times where I would have all of my necessary windows open, just to be told I need to update my Lacerte software and reboot my computer. If you do not update, you cannot use the program...I wish there was a way that these updates were automatic so that the user can hop right on ready to work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Intuit Lacerte Tax solving and how is that benefiting you?

Saves time by using proforma of last year data into this year tax files. I believe this program is very organized, and very efficient. It has many features in one application, making it a multi use app in our office. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
