When I used Intercall, I used it in combination with Webex. It was a nightmare. Every time I created a meeting there were 4 different call numbers, 2 conference IDs, and 2 security passwords.
It would takes prospects/customers 10 minutes to login to the conference line because of the confusion. But there was nothing I could do: if I changed the default message created by Intercall, my invite couldn't be sent.
And I wouldn't recommend using this tool if you make a number of international calls. For a while as a sales rep, I covered parts of Europe (even though I was located in the US). Clear audio and simple setup has made this service a mainstay for our offices.
Also, to have an opportunity to practice the skills you learned hands-on – with real-time feedback informing you whether your action is correct or incorrect. Due in large part to the facts of the industry in which this software services, the focus on PC is both a blessing and a curse. One of the features I like best about Intercall is the report I receive after every conference call that tells me who was dialed in and for how long they stayed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What would be really great is if Intercall could somehow identify by name who was dialed in versus just their phone number. If you are not familiar with their phone number, it would be difficult to know who was dialed into your call. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
