What do you like best about Intel AMT?

We love being able to have the lights out management on intel vPro products and bios level access. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Intel AMT?

Clunky interface not easy to setup with static IPs. We wish intel supported this across their product line. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Intel AMT?

1. The repair cost has drastically reduced . It means more affordability , better asset management . Remote recoveries includes system recovery after OS failures , a security alert and subsequent blocking ,in case if network threat is detected .

2. Increased efficiency and effectiveness with single management console to control and manage Intel based clients , workstations , AMT capable servers .Limited support to only those with Intel AMT firmware . Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This silicon technology is sure to increase more options to technologies for remotely controlled systems .

What do you like best about Intel AMT?

The most important feature is the ability to enable IT to remotely diagnose and fix my computer issues, including taking over my keyboard and mouse Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Intel AMT?

This came pre-installed on my Lenovo thinkpad PC but for the most part my external IT team hasn't used this feature (they use alternative solutions to access my computer remotely) -- as such, this is primarily taking up memory Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Intel AMT:

This system or something similar is a Must-Have for remote IT management of PCs, esp. if you are a traveling exec or salesperson. Most IT organizations utilize a feature like this so if that already exists, then Intel AMT is unnecessary Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
