Once you develop all the pages on their plataform they have you locked in. Won't give you a HTML export of your landing pages. You either suck it up and pay more or have to clone all the landing pages on another software. Expensive. **Recommendations to others considering Instapage:** Be carefull with their business practice. Our plan price would increase about 300%+ for a bunch of features our team would not use. Contacted support to be able to get a more reasonable plan, which they refused telling us that we should use the new features. Contacted then again to be able to get a .html export of our designs to be able to move on to another provider, and they told us that was not possible. Contacted support a 3rd time explaining the sutiation telling then that we like Instapage but at current price (for features we do not use) was too expensive, so we could agree on some terms (for a 5+ years custumer), or at least, give the .html export of our pages so we could move on. They replied: That's not possible. You either pay up 3 times more or leave with nothing. Multiple factors slow down page speed; you should run a check on your end to see what elements slow down the page. In terms of a 300% increase in price, I'd like to mention that the lowest-priced plans we had customers on were $79/month and a transition to the new $149/month on an annual plan is less than a 100% increase in pricing for all of the significant new value we'd added in the past two years. Given that Instapage is an advertising conversion cloud explicitly built to increase advertising conversions, at $149/month, our product is the most competitive on the market. You will have a hard time finding a stand-alone heatmap, A/B testing, etc. product for less than $199/month despite not having landing pages, Instablocks®, conversion analytics, multi-step forms, and AdMap®. We realize that for some small businesses, this low price is still too much. That said, we've outlined in detail the reason for our strategic business changes that move us away from being perceived as a low-cost page builder as that is never what we set out to solve for. Blocks saved as Global Blocks update across the board, i.e. if you have a footer set as a Global Block when you update a link in the footer, it updates on all landing pages with that block. - Integrations; you can integrate forms on your landing page with quite the handful of software (ex. I know enough to realize they are contradicting each other somehow, but there is no information on their site which explains how these two code bases interact - so I had to reach out to customer service to resolve the issue. While speaking with one of their representatives, I was informed that unless I upgrade to the Enterprise Plan, they are unwilling to provide what to me seems like an extremely low effort solution to a problem that I assume many users will face in this product. It is very easy to set up on a Wordpress site. Updates are really easy to make. SEO tags, social media tags, etc. are very useful. **What do you dislike about Instapage?** The design tool could use some improvements with grouping, mobile design, alignment guides, etc. Any designer knows that the key to a good mobile design is having a good grid/guide system. But there is no such feature to help with this in Instapage. I usually add in lines as guides and then delete them later. I really wish there was a feature that let you import a PSD file to speed up the design time. Also, the generated mobile design that comes from a desktop design is always really wonky at first and always needs to be redesigned. **Recommendations to others considering Instapage:** Try out the trial; there's nothing to lose really **What problems is Instapage solving and how is that benefiting you?** We needed a tool like this to set up landing pages faster than the IT department could, and it is meeting that goal very well.
