I like how easy InspireIP is to use without requiring any kind of training. We ran an innovation challenge and captured over 300 employee ideas.
In the past, we used email threads or suggestion boxes to gather suggestions. Getting people to share ideas, tracking them, and managing their progress was a headache.
Now, every day dozens of ideas get submitted over InspireIP and because it is very intuitive, the ideas seem very easy to manage.
This has improved our overall collaboration among employees. as they feel valued and can see how their ideas are handled carefully, and are a part of the innovation pipeline of the company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I hope more new features will be added soon to the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

To me InspireIP is used for the idea management. We all have ideas but we resist ourselves to share our ideas due to personal ot private reasons. One doen't want to disclose a bad idea with a fear of eveluated by others. So Inspire is like a feater in a hat, for those kind of people. Its ease of interface needs no demo session at all. To me its a ready to use tool. For interovert person its like a room to talk with themselves. The idea of sharing the idea is great initiative! more than the tool, I just loved the idea behind the tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As things are getting updated, there could be some voice support for the new users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
InspireIP's simple and elegant structure makes it very easy to use. We didn't need to go through any training to start using it.
As we can access InspireIP on our laptops or mobiles, it makes idea submission quick and effortless. My company ran an innovation challenge using InspireIP. And for the first time, I was able to share over 5 ideas to higher management. This is something that had never happened before as I had never seen any company using such a collaborative platform to let employees share their ideas. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Maybe the login process can be improved as for now, we have to log in every time we open the app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ease by which we can share ideas using Inspire IP interface.
The tracking & discussions tabs is also something that is simplified. It helps you keep tab on your ideas in one-go, something which you would prefer if you are part of R&D/inventor team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One thing that I would like to have is a tracking meter of idea's phase. Currently it shows phases but there's no real time tracking available. It can help kill the anxiety about the process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love new ideas. I love it when I come across one and I love it when I come up with one!
New ideas can be powerful when put to action, but in the initial moments of their inception, they themselves are volatile. If you're not careful, you'll end up forgetting most of them.
A good practice is to record a new idea as soon as you can. At a personal level, I have tried doing that both digitally (keeping Google Notes) and physically (using a idea notebook). It takes a lot of self-discipline to record all (or even most of) the ideas you have. It is much more difficult to do at a team level.
For me, InspireIP solves this problem at work. Earlier we used to do this ad-hoc and no surprise that a lot of good ideas just slipped through the cracks.
When we began using InspireIP, after about a month of getting into the habit of it, we developed a muscle memory of filing the ideas as soon as we had them.
Now we collect all kind of ideas in InspireIP. Some are tiny improvement ideas like whether we should put a painting on a wall that's bare. Some are innovative - like an initiative that can increase the team's efficiency.
We don't judge the ideas. We just file them all. Later on, if we are still excited about it, we can decide whether to share the idea with the team or the management to take it forward - or not.
This has brought a lot of streamlining. At the end of last year we also recognized people who had shared the maximum number of ideas and people who had implemented the greatest fraction of their ideas and so on.
I think InspireIP is a great tool to build a culture of innovation and ideation in teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not sure if it's just me but at certain window sizes, when the browser window is not full-sized, the UI looks a bit odd - the buttons and checkboxes get out of line. I always use it in maximized mode for this reason. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
InspireIP is a cool idea management software that I found quite user-friendly. Simple to track the status of your ideas - whether management reviewed them or not, if yes - their comments, etc. Net-net, cool stuff.
Best part - It is not limited to technical ideas (for filing patents only). It is equally useful and impactful for non-technical ideas. As an example, we got certain new things in our office workspace by sharing our ideas on InspireIP. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not sure. Did not find any feature as problematic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like InspireIP as a result of its gamified way to deal with thought administration. It makes catching and creating thoughts fun and drawing in, empowering cooperation from everybody in my group. This cooperative climate has prompted a flood of intelligent fixes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I've experienced is the restricted announcing abilities. While it's not difficult to follow fundamental thought progress, I at times miss further experiences into group cooperation or explicit thought classes. More vigorous announcing would be unbelievably useful for investigating patterns. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
