"Easy Time Tracking with Room for Improvement"

What do you like best about Insightful?

I use Insightful for registering and keeping track of the time I spend on projects. I love its ease of use. It's very easy for me to set up, and it makes sure I am tracking time spent in real time, giving me an at-a-glance overview. I mostly use its daily tracking of time spent on projects. Although I'm still a fairly new user, I have been favorably impressed so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Insightful?

I'm uncertain how detailed data I can download and in which formats. I would like to be able to download them in various spreadsheet formats and to analyze them in AI-contexts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive and Effective, but with Minor Issues"

What do you like best about Insightful?

I like that Insightful is quite intuitive and easy to use. An employee can easily clock in and clock out at the end of the day, and as administrators, obtaining information for reports and measuring usage is quite simple to obtain and read. Additionally, the initial setup of Insightful was quite straightforward, the information is easily understood, and it was not difficult to get this tool up and running for productive use. What do you dislike about Insightful?

I have noticed problems with the application, mainly that it sometimes records incorrect information or suddenly stops working. It only takes us a few minutes to resolve it by removing, but it remains a minor issue for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It’s good to see Insightful fitting smoothly into both sides of your workflow: Simple enough for employees to clock in and out, while still giving administrators clear, usable reporting. When setup doesn’t become a project of its own, that’s usually a strong sign things are aligned.

What I like best about Insightful is the visibility it brings to how time is actually spent.

As someone managing IT systems and cross-functional workflows, I often had a general sense of where bottlenecks existed but lacked the data to back it up or prioritize fixes. Insightful changed that. It gives you a clear, real-time picture of productivity patterns across teams, so decisions are based on actual behavior rather than assumptions.

The activity tracking is granular without being intrusive, and the dashboards make it easy to spot trends quickly. Whether it's identifying idle time, tracking application usage, or understanding how workloads are distributed, the data is actionable right out of the box.

What do you dislike about Insightful?

So related to the work, that can be improved is the setting part that generally, user can control from their side. And, the real time thing, the UI of real time monitoring could be, little more interactive. Like, during UI, I'm getting all the name, in a single box. And I'm not able to see if user is using multiple screen. So and if multiple tabs are open. So if it is possible to get that thing as well, that will help. Otherwise, it's fair. It's not that much. "Effortless Productivity Monitoring for Remote Teams"

I like that Insightful allows me to have a quick glance at the entire team and see how full their schedules are. It stays out of the way so my team doesn't have to think much about timesheets or tracking their hours. What I like best about Insightful is how easy it is to use and how much clarity it gives me about productivity. I can quickly see detailed reports and trends without feeling like I’m micromanaging anyone. It’s great for supporting remote and hybrid teams, and I feel confident knowing it’s secure with SOC 2, GDPR, and HIPAA compliance.
