I like that Insight Assurance audits OpenAI and seems to work well with MSPs. They appear to be the most startup-native, using tools like Slack and are familiar with cloud environments. Their fast and friendly support staff stand out as the most helpful part of their audit process, always willing to hop on a call to discuss and they're friendly. Their thorough audits provide a high level of trust in the reports, and I appreciate that they're able to help find good solutions to problems our customers face. I would increase their level of QA in ensuring that audit timelines are faster. Sometimes they'd create duplicate audits in the GRC platform, or take too long to do QA on reports before issuing them, or have minor mistakes on the report, like the dates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I appreciate Insight Assurance's thorough auditing and reputable attestation of our security policies. Their services come at a very reasonable rate, and they are incredibly communicative and flexible, which makes infosec audits less stressful and easy to organize. The CSM team is incredibly easy to work with, and Christina Fischer responds on Slack almost immediately, making it easy to coordinate schedules and discuss other frameworks. I also like how they adapt to our time zone and do a fantastic job leveraging Vanta, so we don't need to prove much evidence. Their organized approach to audit meetings makes them in-depth but quick. My favorite thing is their flexibility and ease to work with, along with their very fair pricing. I'm looking forward to adding more frameworks to our agreement and security posture. I appreciate that Insight Assurance is startup-native with relatively good pricing. They offer audits for various frameworks like SOC 2, which help our customers pass procurement. I find their solid team and Slack-native approach valuable, along with their expertise. They hire good people, especially in customer success and director-level positions, and engage actively on Slack about timelines and other details. The ISO 27001 certification process, encompassing the Gap Assessment, Stage 1 Audit, and Stage 2 Audit, was executed with clear structure and guidance.

Clear Communication and Support: Insight Assurance provided excellent project management, including timely debriefs and clear summaries of topics covered, findings, and follow-up items after each audit day. They provided quick communication and support for questions regarding audit requirements, such as clarifying acceptable internal auditor qualifications.

Expert and Professional Auditors: The auditors were consistently professional, responsive, and thorough, which contributed significantly to a smooth and efficient audit. The audit identified areas for improvement, which allowed us to successfully remediate all nonconformities without any major issues. We were able to work through the audit process very quickly and efficiently with the help of Insight Assurance. There’s very little to dislike about Insight Assurance. If anything, the only challenge is that the process can require a significant amount of internal coordination—something inherent to SOC 2 itself, not their approach.
