I would recommend trying Insider. Even if you don't understand how to get started, rely on the expertise of Insider's growth consultants and account managers. They will choose the best possible way to grow your business.

What problems is Insider solving and how is that benefiting you?

We were looking for a technology that can optimize our main metrics for quite a long time. It is much more complicated when talking about the travel industry. We wanted to optimize the engagement at each stage of the funnel. Of course, our primary goal was to increase conversion rates and drive revenue.

That's why we chose Insider. With its wide range of products and features, we can communicate with our users more efficiently and entertainingly. For example, the Instory product is irreplaceable when you want to attract user's attention to your last-minute offers, travel diaries, and special promotions. It helped us to increase CTR vastly. We also use their push notifications and social proof technology which enabled us to boost conversion rates. And, of course, Insider's segmentation. We don't use complex segments, but even basic ones show good results.

"Great experience with Insider"

What do you like best about Insider?

One of the standout features from Insider is their ready-to-use templates that fit a wide range of use cases, these are pretty helpful when it comes to saving time and going live with campaigns in the absence of manpower. We use a combination of web push and web suite for desktop and mobile to drive our online sales and user experience optimization. We’ve seen a 44% uplift in conversion and achieved over 14% in lead submission rates using the gamified templates from Insider. The platform is also very easy to use and helps me meet our requirements and goals.

What do you dislike about Insider?

The only thing we can think of is the lack of integration between mobile web and desktop campaigns. It would be nice if we could use the same campaigns for both desktop and mobile web instead of having to create them separately.

What problems is Insider solving and how is that benefiting you?

We’ve been using Insider to help power our sales online and also to optimize the use experience onsite. We’ve been able to do this with the help of Insider’s web suite products such as gamified templates and web push solutions that focus on bringing users back to complete the purchase. As an extension these gamified templates have also help us considerably improve our lead collection rate and we’ve achieved an 8X ROI from the engagement and improved BOFU metrics.

"Insider helps deliver the most optimized experiences across the user funnel"

What do you like best about Insider?

Once we started using Insider, we started appreciating the A/B testing capability of the tool. Insider’s web suite features and web push is really powerful and we’ve been able to recover a lot of our abandoned booking. Overall, we’ve been able to optimize the user experience on site.

What do you dislike about Insider?

The conversions have been poor of late owing to the travel restrictions which has led to some low-performing months, but there is nothing about the platform that we dislike in particular.

What problems is Insider solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our business goals were to optimize the user experience and improve engagement across the funnel. With Insider we’ve been able to implement UI/UX changes that have contributed to the overall uplift in user experiences onsite. Using their web push feature, we’ve also been able to successfully win back abandoned bookings. We tried out a homepage reorder on our mobile web and this helped us achieve a 460% uplift in conversion rate on the mobile web.

"20x ROI with Insider’s powerful suite of tools"

What do you like best about Insider?

Insider’s segmentation capabilities are amazing, enabling a 19.76% CR uplift. This resulted from displaying highly relevant content and messages using the Web Suite & Web Push, based on the segments that we were able to create. Using an Architect, we could design the customer journey intuitively to flow smoothly from one touchpoint to another. Naturally, this led to an increase in our subscriber rate, as well, of 9.39%. We have also implemented the Smart Recommender on all website pages, actively recommending the most relevant products to our visitors. This mix of Insider’s tools has given us a massive 20x ROI while also bringing in a steady flow of traffic that keeps converting into paying customers much more efficiently than before.

What do you dislike about Insider?

We sometimes don’t find templates that are a 100% match for our requirements. But, the team at Insider helps customize templates for us in such cases, so it makes up for what we miss.

What problems is Insider solving and how is that benefiting you?

Having a large amount of website traffic is excellent, but it is a problem if the traffic doesn’t convert and isn’t of relevant quality for the business. This is precisely what we needed to address. We also needed a capable technology solution that can execute personalization campaigns, carry out intelligent user segmentation & improve the product discovery experience on our website. Insider was the one answer to all of these problems we sought to resolve. Since its integration, we have had 30+ campaigns every month that is always running on our website and has made significant returns.

"The best platform for Quick Website Customization."

What do you like best about Insider?

We love the consistent support from Insider’s account managers who support us in a lot of day to day assistance as well as strategic help on campaign optimization. We have done a lot of scenarios with the help of our account managers such exit intent, cross category banners, and notifications.

Our monthly meetings and reports with our account managers help us stay on top of our objectives and ensure we are following our plan.

What do you dislike about Insider?

From what we’ve seen and used of Insider there is nothing specific that we dislike.

What problems is Insider solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before starting with Insider we had an objective of increasing exploration and increasing conversions to increase purchases, and customer conversion rates to drive sales. Using Insider’s web suite features we managed to get high conversion rates. Two other features that helped us maximize our efforts were A/B testing and smart recommendations- we actively used Insider’s A/B testing feature to track multiple variations of our campaigns to identify the best performing ones. The analytics from Insider provide us with in-depth performance tracking.

"One of the most effective product recommendation tool with accurate user segmentations"

What do you like best about Insider?

The depth of segmentation possible with Insider is unlike any other platform that we have used before. It allows for creating highly targeted personalized campaigns that can be delivered with precision. It’s also fairly easy to use and quick smooth to setup. With one platform, we can meet all our requirements instead of having to rely on multiple vendors. This also means that we are ableto consolidate all our data at one point instead of having disjointed and broken data across various platforms. We are using the website from Insider for both the desktop web and mobile web, and web push as a channel contributes to over 6% of our site traffic, and we love the bulk push feature as it’s highly engageable.

What do you dislike about Insider?

The only drawback we see is that we can’t view the pageviews uplift numbers on the dashboard.

Recommendations to others considering Insider:

Engagement: Provides the ability to easily add CTAs without going through development team to get users to explore more content (Live TV button, Promo banners).

Customer journey: Establish users' loyalty through web pushes (users who opt in web pushes will keep coming back when receiving web pushes). Insider is one of the top channels that has contributed to our monthly pageviews.

Conversion rates: It has increased our email subscriber base through email collection pop up that will appear when user attempts to leave the website. Increase rates for pages per session by having features enticing users to click more (ie: view following article popup, must-watch popup)

App users: Insider, however not integrated on app. Bringing loyal web users to install app by showing pop up based on user behaviour (if users' views more than 5 pages a day they will get a prompt)

Personalisation tools: Created user segments based on interest (politics, English) and push-related content through web pushes. Push content through web pushes or pop-ups based on user behaviour.

What problems is Insider solving and how is that benefiting you?

We wanted to increase our pageviews as this means more chances of conversion for us. We are using Insider to improve the pageview metrics and help our visitors to discover more categories once they arrive at our website. We rely on web push to engage and inform our users about the relevant types/categories/pages they may be interested in.

Insider’s segmentation enables us to keep these web push notifications as relevant as possible to each users interests, and as a result, we have over 383,000 web push subscribers.

"Easy-to-use features, high performing campaigns, astounding results"

What do you like best about Insider?

Insider offers the best email automation we’ve used, delivering very satisfying results. Even the simplest, automated welcome email with a basic discount code on it got a great number of clicks and traffic to our website that subsequently converted. Insider’s Web Push was the first such tool that we used on our website. We are impressed by the seamless cross-channel interaction we’ve been able to create and sustain with web push & email, while also using their intelligent technology to understand our website visitors’ onsite behaviors. Using the many customization options available, we are able to create automated customer journeys for each visitor, following them through their lifecycle. This enables us to improve our products and user experience, which positively impacts our customers’ affinity towards us.

What do you dislike about Insider?

There’s nothing that we dislike about the platform yet. In fact, we absolutely love Insider so much that we’re always keen on trying out their new products and features. Often, we end up trying beta versions of their products which sometimes are not stable, but then, that’s what beta versions are for, so we don’t have any problems with it.

Recommendations to others considering Insider:

When using Insider, there are very clear use cases that it performs amazingly well for. And it is not a small number, either. We love that there are endless scenarios that the platform is able to handle comfortably, and the team consistently keeps updating it to accommodate more use cases as and when they come up. The simplicity of the platform is something that works great for us. Their amazing customer support team deserves special mention, too, making the overall experience of using Insider one that is pleasant and fruitful.

What problems is Insider solving and how is that benefiting you?

We were facing issues with our older email marketing software, where we didn’t have enough customization and automation options. We also hadn’t tried out push notifications and were curious about it. Insider’s Email & Web Push tools have been great for our business. They’re simple and easy to use, backed by a great support team that’s always around to clarify doubts and resolve issues.

"A partner in crime you need!"

What do you like best about Insider?

The support and framework around planning, execution and optimizing from the Insider team are truly great. One of the best partners I've worked with to date. The platform offers so much opportunity to test and learn things, without needing to invest heavily into building features/investing into things you're not sure about. Using Google Analytics data to measure success is also really beneficial for reporting.

What do you dislike about Insider?

Nothing really - everything has been positive with Insider. My only feedback would be as a retailer to ensure you have a resource to dedicate time/work to Insider - not only with providing/updating content but also testing, reviewing, and checking the reporting on campaigns. It's important to measure work vs reward. I don't think this is a platform you can set and forget campaigns.

What problems is Insider solving and how is that benefiting you?

We're focussing on our abandon cart, personalized product recommendations and testing features on our site that don't exist. We're also using Insider to showcase more content where we are limited on-site. We A/B testing different campaigns to help provide guidance and data on what features we should get developed if we can. It has allowed us to identify key things to increase conversion rate and elevate our customer's experiences.

What do you like best about Insider?

There are so many things we love about using Insider, so it’s difficult to find the best thing. The support team at Insider is amazing - it feels like we are working with our own internal marketing team and not a customer support team from a different company. The account managers are experienced and bring great insights across products and marketing strategies in different regions. We are able to get clear insights from their reporting dashboard and understand our ROI from using Insider. The technology is very flexible and easy to use and meets all our requirements — the implementation is fast, easy and campaign management is a breeze. When Insider commits to a timeline they stick to it and we have achieved the fastest ROI with Insider. Using their product discovery tool and cart abandonment recovery notifications we improved our ROI by 53X.

What do you dislike about Insider?

To date, I haven’t found anything to dislike. There have been some hiccups and glitches, but they have been immediately resolved by the team at Insider, so we are very happy.

What problems is Insider solving and how is that benefiting you?

During the initial phase of testing Insider we only had owned channels and it was difficult to segment our users and automate our marketing efforts - which is why we decided to try Insider. We wanted to focus on online channels and improve our customer experience to create the best possible personalization scenarios. We have a lot of traffic but because we are unable to segment our users, we were not able to identify them and convert them through individualized experiences. With both an online and offline mode of operation, we wanted our customers to experience the same kind of experience online as they would get from one of our offline retail store. Insider made all of this possible. We have improved our engagement rate, our sign-up rates are higher and new user acquisition has significantly increased. Like I said earlier - our ROI after using Insider is 53X.

"Insider is a great tool for segmenting and targeting the right users to improve customer engagement!"

What do you like best about Insider?

The platform is user-friendly and very easy to use. We are able to set up and go live with our own campaign in just a matter of minutes. The A/B testing feature is another brilliant tool from Insider that we love - we are able to test different copies of our app push notifications to see what works best in terms of language and tone of content, the insights from the panel are very helpful. Add to this Insider’s geo fencing ability and that means we are able to target users at the right time and place also. The mobile app push notifications can be created in less than a minute given their ready-to-use templates and executing the campaign is fairly simple, allowing us to go live faster.

What do you dislike about Insider?

For some of our more complicated campaigns and flows, it would be nice to see a visual representation of what we are creating, however, Insider says that they have a different tool - Architect which can help us visualize complex journeys..

What problems is Insider solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our business goal when we started using Insider and before was to improve the engagement and retention on our mobile app. We wanted to target users and bring them back - the ride-booking space is a competitive one and we want to engage users at the right time in order to stay ahead. Insider’s segmentation feature has enabled us to easily create accurate user segments and target these users at the right time with push notifications to convert them. Insider’s quick and efficient real-time segmentation features come in handy when users open our app but do not book a ride in the next 5 minutes, normally because they are comparing prices against competitor apps. In such cases we are able to send a push notification immediately with a discount code to encourage these users to convert. And we’re elated with the conversion rates we’ve achieved overall.
