I like how this gives you a breat down of benefits and other coverage that a patient may have. Also this pulls current information to help catch any billing errors we may run into in the future. It makes it very easy to check benefits with almost every insurance network that we are in network with. It also helps us determine co-pays, days available ( sometimes people forget the days they used in different faciliities,) Also gives us maximum resources to use to verify deductibles, out of pockets, active dates. Most importantly lets us know if there is a plan that is the primary over the MCR which makes a HUGE diffeence. If you need help Customer Support is spot on, Always there to help. There is not much that I dont like. It can be a little glitchy sometimes when it comes to getting logged in. That is very rare though Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love using Inovalon for verifying eligibility for our skilled residents. The part that is the easiest for me is verifying the co-insurance and copayments when the resident is using a managed care payer. I love this software because it enables me to quickly verify insurances for residents in 1 minute or less. The verification is very easy to read, as it literally has a check mark for valid insurance, or a X if it isn. I also enjoy the ability to reverify without having to reenter a patient's information. I do not like how the verifications do not give benefit information for all types of services. For example, my organization is a Skilled Nursing Facility, and depending on the payer, I am not able to see the SNF benefits. So I have to call the insurance company.
