**What do you like best about InMotion Hosting?**

I love the super helpful tech support. I'm not a web developer so I get stuck quite easily with my Wordpress site. They have been very patient with me and staying on the chat for well over an hour sometimes. They helped me recover a site I accidentally deleted so that was a huge relief! The hosting price for WP Launch is great too for an artist like me who is on a budget.  My site is stable and any issues have been resolved very quickly with PHP upgrades and clearing cache files. It's been really easy to set up a staging site too for testing new features before they go live.

**What do you dislike about InMotion Hosting?**

It was a bit tricky to figure out what parts of the InMotion interface I needed to use for my site, but now I know what to click on. C-panel is very straight forward and familiar from other hosting platforms so that really helps.

**What problems is InMotion Hosting solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm not a web developer so I need a WordPress host who I can rely on helping me when things get a bit more complicated. I really feel like I'm in safe hands with InMotion as they have helped me on numerous occasions, wich is great for the price I'm paying.

**What do you like best about InMotion Hosting?**

I've been with InMotion Hosting for about eight years, and I've gotten really familiar with the interface, so I know my way around the system pretty well. Most of the time, the service is really good, and I always get good customer support when I need something. They've always been very consistent with their customer service and tech support, even though they've cut back on some hours; their chat support is always available, which I appreciate. I've always felt very comfortable with their tech support since I can communicate well with them, and they understand my needs. They teach me how to run my VPS server better, and even if the first suggestion doesn't work, they have other techs that can help. Their rates are very competitive, which is a plus since I run my business on a budget, and even though rates rise after the promotional period, they usually offer opportunities to keep costs down. Also, whenever I experience something like server spikes, they help by suggesting things I can install or change on the server. I also like that the setup is pretty straightforward; once I get one site working well, I can repeat the process for other sites with similar results.

**What do you dislike about InMotion Hosting?**

I didn't like it when they cut their phone tech support down. They started cutting it off at 9PM at night, and then it comes back at 9AM in the morning. I'm definitely a person that likes to speak to someone and feel more comfortable. When I was upgrading, I was having quite a few problems on a legacy system before moving to a newer VPS package, and it took me a while to get it configured right. Sometimes when you have transitions, it takes a little while, but they did help me with that. But sometimes it does get a little frustrating. Wish I could get a quicker, more reliable solution faster.

**What problems is InMotion Hosting solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I host 35 client sites with InMotion Hosting and find their service reliable. Their customer support helps me manage and teach VPS operations, though I wish for faster solutions. Competitive rates fit my budget despite rate increases after promotions.

About 12 years ago, they were very helpful with moving my domain from GoDaddy to Inmotionhosting, setting up security, etc.  Now, I know that I can get the technical support I need in a relatively short time.

I am not a fan of the AI bot.  A bot cannot fix the technical problems I encounter from time to time.

Before I moved my site to InMotionHosting, my site was hosted by another company.  Their prices kept going up and up, I couldn't get my technical issues addressed, and the services they offered kept having more and more restrictions.

Loading speed is always a scoring issue but it's less an issue with InMotion services and more with taking the time to fully optimize WordPress (which unfortunately requires more paid plugins than in the past).

I like that it is a hosting service that integrates everything I need to work: corporate email, domain purchase and management, web hosting, and the ability to run Node applications or APIs without complicated configurations. The cPanel interface is intuitive and allows for quick management of sites, databases, and files. In my work, it becomes very practical to have everything centralized on a single platform that doesn't require much of a learning curve.

What convinces me the least is that some advanced server customization options are limited. When I need more specific configurations, the only way is to use a rather basic web terminal, which makes more technical tasks take longer or require alternative solutions. It would be ideal to have more flexibility or more comprehensive tools for advanced adjustments.

Solve the problem of having infrastructure scattered across multiple services. At my job, I manage domains, frontend, backend, APIs, and corporate emails, and before, I had to handle several different providers. With InMotion Hosting, I can centralize everything: domain registration, shared hosting, Node application deployments, database management, and email configuration. This reduces costs, simplifies daily administration, and allows me to deploy updates and projects more quickly and in a controlled manner.

I absolutely love the back-end customer service of InMotion Hosting. It's the best I've ever seen, and it sets them apart from all major competitors. Whenever I have a problem with my WordPress websites or email issues, they're always there to help. Even though there's sometimes a little wait time for service, the support is so outstanding that I hardly see it as a problem. Additionally, I'm not a programmer, but InMotion Hosting consistently supports me as I build my own websites, helping me navigate through things beyond my expertise. They also own Web Hosting Hub.

**What do you like best about InMotion Hosting?**

Servers are very fast and well maintained. The 24-hour available support has been invaluable to us. As we host more than 300 websites on our dedicated servers, something is bound to go wrong. The technical support is always quick, professional and knowledgeable - helping us quickly resolve any issues that arise.

With hosting this many websites, we are using the product, both through the WHM interface and the Cpanel interfaces on a daily basis. The tools available make it very easy for us to add new accounts and websites, integrate in new features and implement website updates.

**What do you dislike about InMotion Hosting?**

We've been an InMotion hosting customer for over 10 years. In that time there have been some minor glitches with updates and server hardware, but overall we are very happy with the product and the technical support.
We would like to see it easier to migrate accounts and websites from one server to a new or different server.

InMotion Hosting allows us to host and manage over 300 websites on behalf of our customers.

The customer support would just have you go in circles over an issue.  The pricing would change without proper notifications and plan changes all the time.  The customer portal was also a mess to navigate.

They solved no problems for me, that's why I left InMotion for Cloudways.

I really appreciate InMotion Hosting's easy setup process and the responsive service from their support team. Their interface panel, though old-school, is self-descriptive and easy to use. The speed and storage they offer are quite good, and I believe they provide excellent value for money, especially with their multi-year packages. The ability to create infinite emails through cPanel and their reliable service has been extremely beneficial to my website management. Their prompt support response is invaluable, particularly for someone like me who prefers a hands-on, straightforward approach to building websites.

What I like most about InMotion is the variety of services.  From self to fully managed WordPress, VPS hosting, and dedicated servers.  They have such a variety that it's a good fit for just about anyone needing these services.  Their prices are some of the lowest in the community.  Customer service is top-notch, available 24/7 through email, phone, or online chat.

**What do you dislike about InMotion Hosting?**

The only thing I don't like is how their specials change so rapidly.  It's like every 3-4 days, a new special comes out and only lasts a few days.  If you don't act quickly, you may miss out on a great opportunity!

**What problems is InMotion Hosting solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed a platform to host multiple Wordpress sites that was fast, reliablable, had all the tools and support.  InMotion had that and I jumped right in.  Now I needed a reseller platform for the same.  Found it at InMotion and it's been working out excellent!  Their support has helped me immensely with small to large questions and getting things setup with me.

Whenever I have a question or run into an issue, their support team responds quickly and always goes the extra mile to help. The hosting is also very reliable, and the website speed is excellent, which makes managing my projects much easier.

There’s not much to dislike, but the initial setup process could be a bit more beginner-friendly.
For someone new to hosting, a more guided onboarding experience would be helpful. That said, the support team is always available to assist, which makes up for it.

**What do you like best about InMotion Hosting?**

From the perspective of pure functionality, InMotion is the best hosting service I have dealt with in 25 years of web work. Outages are almost non-existent, the tools provided for managing web hosts are comprehensive, and their "Optimized Hosting for WordPress" packages are nearly flawless. Somehow, all of this comes at a very reasonable price.

That said, what truly sold me on InMotion was their hosting tech support. Coming from a server administration background, I have high expectations for the competence of the hosting providers I use. No matter the situation I’ve contacted them about over the past 7 years, they have been there to work with me through basic websites to complicated web application integrations.

I personally understand the difficulties of running a help desk at a large business. InMotion has a clear support philosophy they instill in their team: help people succeed. I find myself bouncing ideas off them before implementing tricky projects because they know their systems inside and out and collaborate with me. No complaints, no pointing me to a FAQ or white paper. 

InMotion Hosting supports me in supporting my clients and growing my business.

Some out of date documentation lurks around inside the extensive knowledgebase.

I've spent years on various hosting services. I moved to InMotion about 5 years ago and haven't looked back. The uptime is excellent. Customer service is always available, responsive, and helpful.

cPanel makes things easy to use and navigate. Unlimited domains and email addresses and with my Virtual VPN I'm not getting dinged for other users bad email behavior.

Price is reasonable for all the services I receive.

**What do you dislike about InMotion Hosting?**

Their SSL process is confusing and convoluted. Especially if you're using a third party service.

Reliable uptime - I'm not getting clients and prospects calling me or texting saying my website isn't working. VPN that delivers. No more getting dinged for other users on the shared plan who are spamming. Awesome support. When I have a problem I get answers and a solution fast. Saves time and angst.

InMotion has a very good uptime and competitive pricing. Easy to change your plan and they are honest with customer. Possibility of separate cPanels for each domain.

Recently I was having trouble getting the phone support fast. Sometimes the call-back could be after 6-8 hours, but the same day.

Whenever I contact with teh support via phone or chat, my problem was solved on the first contact in 95% of time, or the second time. I never had to call the third time.

In the 7 years that I've been a customer of InMotion Hosting, I can't think of a single time that my websites have been down.  That was not the case at my previous host (and why I'm no longer there).

Over the past couple years it seems the response time for their standard support through emails has gotten pretty long and it can take 2 or 3 days for a response now.  They do have a chat option that is much quicker, but it's disappointing that it's taking so long to get a response for none emergency things.

**What do you like best about InMotion Hosting?**

The only thing is that it is a bit cheaper than CloudWays. But you get what you pay for.

**What do you dislike about InMotion Hosting?**

Long wait times for chat - sometimes up to 20 minutes. 
Unhelpful support - I've told chat I couldn't wait longer for them to look into my problem (I was waiting 20 minutes) and to open a ticket. They said yes, then I come back to my computer and they did not do this. So then I email about the issue and they email back hours later saying "There isn't an issue".  Yes, there is still an issue. 
Now I'm waiting for support AGAIN about the issue. 
Their platform i is extremely buggy. I have to set things up multiple times, they say they work, but then they don't. 
Also, sales mentioned migration was included when UPGRADING our servers with them (the only reason I didn't recommend Cloudways to my client) and that was just a lie. We have to do it ourselves, and it was extremely difficult because platform i is so buggy.
Why does it take 3-5 minutes to PULL UP MY ACCOUNT?

Great User Interface, support available, and excellent competitive option for shared hosting.

**What do you dislike about InMotion Hosting?**

Dedicated servers are too expensive compared to DigitalOcean. Shared servers have many limitations. They emailed me asking me to disable back-up plugins because it was violating their policies.

InMotion simplifies hosting for small websites that do not require too much computing power.

It's simple to use for my coworkers and I on any device.

**What do you dislike about InMotion Hosting?**

Finding the actual login link is somewhat difficult. I have it bookmarked but if I have to get someone else to login, they have to type in the exact address rather than simply searching.

**What problems is InMotion Hosting solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All our staff has an email address on the domain but the temps (who work 3 months and are off for about a month then back on for 3 months) couldn't have outlook setup on a PC. So they use inmotion hosting to login to their emails and check them.

The technical support is really good. I used InMotion hosting for the first website I created and they implemented everything for me to get my site live.

If your website is starting to get a good amount of traffic, the shared hosting they offer is not the best solution if you want the best performance.

Inmotion hosting used to have affordable prices and outstanding and prompt phone, chat, email support however times have changed. Throughout my time with InMotion Hosting they've been supportive and usually always able to resolve any problems I've had.

**What do you dislike about InMotion Hosting?**

Over these last couple of years InMotion hosting's support had been lackluster and subpar at best. They were once commended for their amazing dedication to their customers and had offered FREE site backups as well as free SSL's - however I am not fond of the support they provide now. There has been a lot more service outages as well as long chat and call wait times. Their hosting speeds are still comparable and usually are really good - however I am getting fed up with the servers being down more often than not.

InMotion hosting used to be a good host where they were attentive to it's customers needs and concerns. They were once reliable in regard to providing the support I needed to resolve my case, however the benefits to risk comparison had shrunk a lot since I first signed up with them.

There are a lot of services in the cPanel, and it's a bit of a challenge to find the proper menu item when making configuration updates.

I needed a web hosting service for my domains as well as a couple for a customer. It was easy to bundle the multiple domains into one plan so I could manage everything together.

We use InMotion to host 70+ websites, and have had a great experience! Any time we need to talk with support, they know what they're talking about and can help find a solution quickly.

**What do you dislike about InMotion Hosting?**

I have no complaints about InMotion! We've only experienced downtime a couple times over 5 years, but that's to be expected.

**Recommendations to others considering InMotion Hosting:**

If you need reliable, fast, business class hosting with a support staff that knows what they're doing, there's no better option. We've been with several web hosts, and InMotion is by far the best.

InMotion control panel and pricing are what I really liked.
Support is almost always available but not helpful.

Support is available but not necessarily helpful!
Resources are not enough on shared hosting for a very simple low-traffic website.
Sometimes servers and even the inMotion control panel are not up and responsive that one of the reasons can be cyber attacks.

**What problems is InMotion Hosting solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was using inmotion hosting to host my websites! In the beginning, servers were fast and reliable, the reseller account was good and support was always there and helpful. BTW, I'm not using their services for almost 2 years and maybe they had improvements in servers and support staff.
