Adding business-defined information from others sources for data-enrichment purposes . Completely customizable design in web publications by embeddable css or pre-built design features, show/hide or even manipulate information based on user configurable rules. Publish data via mail, csv or pdf, offering downloads in orgcharts and - of course - build interactive orgmanagement scenarios using the integrated simulation capability (also containing all already mentioned features). **What do you dislike about Ingentis org.manager?** 'Those who lament are those already enjoying high standards.' There is almost nothing to complain about. If at all, it could be a bit easyier to fetch historical data and whole time periods for, e.g., visualizing retroactive data changes. By default, ingentis orgmanger expects a specific effective date for data extracting purposes. **What problems is Ingentis org.manager solving and how is that benefiting you?** Publishing web based, interactive, role based and responsive orgmanagement data for our employees in hierachy/sunburst diagramms and lists. Broadcasting full automated hr reports via mail. Setting up a highly reliable quality management system for hr data via user configurable data rules. Not really, but please could you improve the download functionalities especially for excel users and the selection of data that the user intends to dowload or to check. Checking data in excel can save time e.g. in the controlling department. Otherwise you have to check all the charts which can be time consuming in bigger companies e.g. regarding checking of master data changes in the context of re-organizations (sometimes the HR department presents preliminary changes to check). **Recommendations to others considering Ingentis org.manager:** ? **What problems is Ingentis org.manager solving and how is that benefiting you?** organization charts on website But something could be helpful in the org.manager: Could you add an overview / list which demonstrates cost center changes of the employees in a selected time period/interval (name, cost center old/new, month, year) - based on the current SAP master data. In our company many people have access to the org.manager on our intranet website and this could be very helpful for many people and would save a lot of time regarding the handling of company cars, travel costs, posting of invoices, creating purchase orders etc. If such a tool already exists, please let me know. ### 4. Actually, sometimes I wish I could tell my colleagues with their powerful imagination which can in certain cases lead to funny ideas "Sorry, but for technical reasons we cannot meet your requirements" - but that wouldn't be true... My colleagues who are working with organisational charts provided in our intranet like most the easy overview and the high degree of usability. **What do you dislike about Ingentis org.manager?** There's nothing to dislike at all. The only point is that the huge degree of flexibility leads to a certain system complexity (concerning the administration) so that sometimes requirements cannot be met only on an intuitive basis. However, the Ingentis support is very fast and reliable so that one easily gets help whenever tasks are too difficult to be solved on one's own. Anyway, the system complexity regards only the administration of the tool - which means that the standard user can handle the tool very easily. **Recommendations to others considering Ingentis org.manager:** We process our employee's data with SAP HCM. For companies not using SAP, I cannot judge the situation. But for those who do use SAP HCM, I recommand the use of the Ingentis org.manager without hesitation. **What problems is Ingentis org.manager solving and how is that benefiting you?** We display our organisational structure in our intranet so that everyone of our employees has access to it. The search feature enables everyone to find every name within the organisation - which gives a lot of orientation. Also, responsibilities can easily be found. The tree organizational structure is quite clear, but before beginning to use it, you need a clean and updatde structure. It is possible to create different prospective, to sue for different puropses. We craeted 3 ones, and by using only 4/5 fields you are able to create a complete and understandable company organization. A tool like this can be used not only for one purpose or one function, but by different ones, for example finance or internal audit or simply a clean organizational structure. **What do you dislike about Ingentis org.manager?** You need to have a clear idea on what you want and it needs to be simple with rules not too much complicated. The main problem that we had was the communication with the support team, who needed continous and repetitive explanations. It can become quite frustrating when you need to repeat the same thing all the time that you one small change. **Recommendations to others considering Ingentis org.manager:** If you have a clean and clear organization, this tool can help you, but if your structure is not definied and you do not know what you really want, wait. This tool cannot make miracles, so if you are still working on your organization, wait a bit, until you are sure of what you want to do with it. For those structures in need of a tool that creates and simulates organizational structures, to use for presentations, org.manager is very useful. It has a double function, one to visualize the currect organization, but you can also simulate different scenarios, beginning from the current one. Many times, beginning from scrach is time consuming, but if youhave a base from which beginning, creating new organizations can be quite simple. ### 6. So sometimes it is a bit difficult to find the right way to install a new perspective. The support given by Ingentis with initial configuration and when issues arise is excellent. **What do you dislike about Ingentis org.manager?** We have not been able to solve the fact that in the print version the borders round the boxes are not shown consistently. However, as the print version is only for archive purposes this is a very minor issue. **Recommendations to others considering Ingentis org.manager:** Can definitely recommend.
