It is easy to use and there are plenty of tutorials to guide you through anything that can't easily be figured out. The very best thing I love, though, is the customer service. Extremely helpful, knowledgeable and they listen to me when I have constructive feedback. **What do you dislike about INGENIOUS.BUILD?** As with any PMIS package, there is a learning curve and I've made a couple of mistakes when setting up my first projects. That said, the learning curve for Ingenious has been so much shorter than I have experienced in the past with eBuilder or Procore. **What problems is INGENIOUS.BUILD solving and how is that benefiting you?** I was spending too much time trying to manage my information instead of managing my projects. Once I have properly set up my jobs in Ingenious.Build, I am spending about 20% of the time I used to in managing the data and reporting to my client that I used to. That has translated into about 15 hours per week more time managing teams, and spending more face time with my clients. ### 2. The platform is very user friendly and easy to navigate. Customer Support is very responsive to questions and does well to communicate the status of tickets as it moves through the process. The Customer Service team is always available to assist whether through the software, email, or virtual meeting. **What do you dislike about INGENIOUS.BUILD?** The structure is fairly rigid so project/Client/personal preferences on how to analyze cost data is limited to the format in place. The other concern, which is also a benefit, is the constant evolution of the software. The team at Ingenious.Build really strives to be cutting edge and regularly updates the software to provide new portals and services, which is great, but it also takes a bit of time to keep up. **What problems is INGENIOUS.BUILD solving and how is that benefiting you?** We were searching for a more effective way to manage our projects and we took a trial period with Ingenious.Build at one of our Client's request, we had some early struggles with our team getting acclimated but are now using Ingenious.Build for all of our project portfolio. The user interface is extremely intuitive if you are used to working with similar systems. Their customer support is very responsive, and the onboarding process was great, making the initial setup very easy. **What do you dislike about INGENIOUS.BUILD?** My company purchased the custom reporting module that is actually a third party module. Unfortunately, that custom reporting module has not lived up to its promise and we have yet to find a good use for it. This custom reporting module was sold to us to be able to automate our manual weekly reporting. I enjoy using it specifically for overseeing overall project budgets as it helps ensure there are no formula errors like those that might occur with Excel plus you can upload your standard company phase code templates. It's very easy to set up, which is a big plus plus the quick export of the budget to Excel makes it very easy to share. **What do you dislike about INGENIOUS.BUILD?** Ingenious.Build is a little bit more clunky compared to previous platforms I've used when it comes to some of the PM items, like Procore. For example, the drawing functions are workable but not optimal.
