Support has been exceptional. Free hardware is good deal and makes enough of a cost difference to put it above other similar vendors. The ease of viewing errors and warnings makes administration easy to deal with. Backing up VMs in VMware is a breeze and works very well. The way that backups are prepared for sending offsite allows the speed at which they are sent to be a lot better than most solutions. I can get a few TBs offsite in as little as 3-4 days. **What do you dislike about Infrascale Backup & Disaster Recovery?** Their agent based backup must scan the entire file structure to be able to track changes. It does not have CBT capability. Setup of the agent is also a bit involved compared to other services I have used. There have been some instances of the backups affecting production to the point of end-user complaints. **Recommendations to others considering Infrascale Backup & Disaster Recovery:** Infrascale is a good BDR solution that you can resell at a decent enough profit. It will do backups and give you the flexibility you need to backup your client's data in a way that works for them. You will find that backing up smaller servers is going to be less of a headache than large environments. If you do have clients with large datasets I would recommend only using the hypervisor side backups rather than the backup agent. **What problems is Infrascale Backup & Disaster Recovery solving and how is that benefiting you?** Infrascale disaster recovery gives us the ability to back up client data at an image and file and folder level or combination of the two as needed. Once you get the hang of it, it's not too hard to navigate through the screens. Support it helpful when you know what you want to do, they usually give you a direct answer of how to do it. **What do you dislike about Infrascale Backup & Disaster Recovery?** Finding something specific in the documentation is not simple. Creating a windows image of the system didn't work. When contacting support they mentioned they were in the process of phasing out the current disk image provider and are creating their own. There is no cloud to cloud back. The email notifications don't explain how to fix the alerts.
