Informatica supports various source systems connections including all the leading data base systems, application systems, text files, cloud services etc.

It provides various different kinds of transformation techniques which helps transform the data in anyway the business expects.It has various transformations like source qualifier, lookup transformation, joiner transformation, normalizer, SQL transformation, TCL transformation,sorter transformations etc.

Additionally to these inbuilt transformation informatica also supports java transformation where user can write customized java code which helps to achieve the most difficult functionality.

Informatica also provides various connectors such as SAP connectors to connect to SAP applications/databases, Sales force connectors for connecting to Salesforce connectors and it provides the easy integeration with all the industry leading analytic tools which makes the implementation very easy. 1. Informatica Workflow Manager

2.Informatica Monitor

3.Informatica Designer

Informatica requires good level of SQL skills to write various queries to fetch the data from any source systems. This is required in order to fetch data with exact filter so that the unwanted data can be filtered out.
