What do you like best about Informatica Cloud Data Integration?

Metadata-driven integration that combines the best of application and data integration, tightly coupled to the data governance suite. It has the flexibility to mix patterns as appropriate, i.e. start a process that invokes a task flow then continues to send the results via a REST API. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Informatica Cloud Data Integration?

There are too many ways to accomplish a task, which can result in support issues if there is no strong oversight and governance. It would be helpful if there were decision trees to help you pick the correct path. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Informatica Cloud Data Integration solving and how is that benefiting you?

Slow execution/too much processing overhead for all the checks and logging, the web app can be buggy at times (latest bug: a parameterized source connection in a mapping stopped pulling the list of connections when editing the corresponding mapping task), transformations can be inflexible (the ability to write the logic in Java is limited), debugging can be a pain, source control is lacking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Informatica Cloud Data Integration solving and how is that benefiting you?

Integrations and datafeeds between cloud-first systems such as Salesforce that require a lot of maintenance if writing custom code for it in anything other than Java and even Java. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
