**What do you like best about InfoEd eRA Portal?**

Once you get the hang of it, it's not hard to use.

**What do you dislike about InfoEd eRA Portal?**

Getting the hang of it is hard. Learning where to click to access your records is challenging. It is not an intuitive interface. An example is that I thought I was "updating" my research protocol, but then realized that none of this would show, as it was only logged as a comment. I had to cut and paste all of this information into the actual protocol. 

**Recommendations to others considering InfoEd eRA Portal:**

Reach out for help sooner rather than later to save yourself some headaches.

We use this portal for submission and review of research protocols.

**What do you like best about InfoEd eRA Portal?**

I love the data and analytics I can pull from InfoEd to track how many research proposals we submit. All three sections of our office (pre-award, contracting and post-award) can use InfoEd to track how many proposals are submitted, which are awarded and for how much. It has become a huge asset for us in terms of reporting. 

**What do you dislike about InfoEd eRA Portal?**

It is not always the most user friendly. It takes quite a while to train people to effectively use InfoEd. There are a lot of nuances that one must know from the beginning to utilize all of what InfoEd can offer. However, after the training hurdle it is a really great tool.

**What problems is InfoEd eRA Portal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to keep track of submitted, not funded and awarded proposals in one place. Our office are located at different places on campus, so it is great to all have access to the same information. In terms of our pre-award processes, it has been amazing in terms of tracking how many proposals we submit per month. Before, it was all manual tracking and now we are able to run a simple report to find that information.
