Honestly, the best part about using Indeed is the massive reach — we got a decent number of applications within just a couple of days, even for entry-level roles. I liked that posting a job doesn’t feel like a complicated process, and the dashboard is fairly straightforward. Also, the fact that you can start off with free postings is a plus, especially when you’re hiring in bulk or on a tight budget. The resume alerts and filters helped us narrow down candidates a bit, though you still need to manually scan for quality. Overall, it saves time if you use it smartly. One thing that does get a bit frustrating is the quality control — sometimes you end up with a flood of applicants who haven’t even read the job description properly. It takes time to filter through them, and the built-in filters don’t always catch mismatches. Also, once a job gets older than a few days, the visibility drops sharply unless you boost it, which feels a little pushy. One of the biggest problems it solves for us is visibility — we don’t have to run around different places to find talent. Posting a job on Indeed means it reaches a large pool of candidates quickly, which saves time and effort. It also helps with shortlisting — we can filter resumes to some extent and spot active job seekers faster. For roles that are time-sensitive or where we need multiple hires, it gives us a decent flow of applicants without too much manual outreach.
