"Criminal pricing update for great software"

What do you like best about imgix?

We use it to resize images and transform them on our website and through emails. It's a very useful way to manipulate images that are stored within Amazon S3 buckets.The uptime is perfect, the manipulation tools are first class and the support is very good. What do you dislike about imgix?

Recently they made changes to their pricing which made it incredibly expensive. They claimed they made everyone aware of this via email, but if you weren't subscribed, like us, then this came out of nowhere. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is imgix solving and how is that benefiting you?

It enabled us to not worry about having to manually resize images and store them ourselves. All we had to do was maintain the image library within Amazon S3 storage buckets. So by being able to not worry about how we render files (whether that's format, size, compression etc) it took a weight off our dev team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
