What do you like best about IIS 10 on Windows 2019?
IIS 10 helped in hosting multiple applications on a single node and binding them with multiple domains. FTP and sftp hosting helped to store the data safely on the server. Its centralized configuration helped us to use it for multiple applications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

IIS is best for hosting the Application Also IIS provides Centralized Administration.
IIS 10 logging is very useful to find the error in any of your Applications.
Built-in FTP server for secure file transfer and management is very good.

It's fast, it's reliable, and it can handle a ton of traffic. It's got all the latest security protocols and technologies built in and highly scalable. Its easy to setup compared to others like apache server.... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Its cost mainly. There are other dislikes but they can be managed or rather they work well for my usecases. You could make this open source like other competitors Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about IIS 10 on Windows 2019?
It is very easy to install and also quite easy to deploy applications on it. We were able to host our application quite successfully through it and deliver it to the client well in advance. Moreover, other Microsoft products like MS SQL Server become easy to integrate using IIS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We had a few old PHP files which became incompatible with the new version hence we had to replace them. Other than that, the other limitation is the cost which is a bit towards the higher side. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

IIS 10 is well integrated into Windows Server so it is easier in a development approach to configure and manage. It is also easier to use the tools built in to Windows to get things done. Rather than installing third party tools, libraries, etc to get things going. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike about IIS 10 on Windows 2019?
Obviously it doesn't come close to some features that we see with industry standard third party softwares that achieve the same goal. We also have to ensure that our configurations do not expose the web server to security holes. Performance was also a little less. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are certain features, which should be easily available, like URl re-writing. for which you have to download a dedicated utility. Additionally, SSL import section needs to be improved. getting SSL working in IIS is pure luck Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
