Top Rated Ignite Realtime Spark Alternatives
I have been using Spark for over 6 years now and as a company chat platform it is not that bad. I like that you can easily set it up and log into it. I like that you can create team chats with security passwords. Instant messaging is a breeze and group chats are easy to navigate. You also have the option to change your nick name if the name on the server is not what you want to use. The random color feature is also very helpful when you are in group chats. Using this feature allows you to distinguish between multiple users. You also have the option to pull the data logs from any chat and save them as a PDF. Finally the search feature is phenomenal. With a database of over 3 thousand employees the search feature allows me to instantly locate someone by the first, last, or user name. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike the new update that removed the option to log off of spark. You are on it, or you have to exit. When you exit this does not end it in your processes and can cause conflict when you try to open another instance. I do not like that everyone has access to the buzz feature. This feature sends a high pitched noise directly to you which can be very distracting. I do not like the image/file sharing feature as it can take up to 20 minutes to transfer an image or file. The last issue I have with Spark is ghost messaging. If you send a message to someone and close that box it will randomly appear for no reason. I have heard they are working to resolve this with the newest update. Lastly I dislike the font and text options as they are very limited and do not allow much freedom in creativity. Great instant messaging service that kept the buying team on the same page with a thread of communication that could be referenced later and reviewed if necessary Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Did not have any complaints about Ignite Realtime Spark Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's really intuitive and easy to use, transparency of users/roles is easy to view and categorize. It's used at an organization where staff are both in the room and remote so it's easy to coordinate amongst ourselves. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There's room for improvement on the design of the tool - the emojis are also extremely dated, it would be nice to have a wider variety - not a huge impact on usability, but it would be more fun! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Love the ability to see who is online and available, as well as the ability to mark myself busy, unavailable, etc. A convenient application to use when working remotely. The file transfer option works very smoothly within the application and makes it easy to quickly send documents and other files. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have experienced a lot of glitches with Spark. Often I will connect with a coworker and upon signing in the next day, they will show as pending, when we were able to converse the prior day. Other times, a single contact will show up 10x or more in the list of contacts which makes it super frustrating. Usually a force quit and restart will clear the issue. Ignite Realtime Spark quickly shows who is online with the application and who is not (out of those in your group). Bouncing ideas off each other is quick and easy. Great IM for office use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Available Plugins not showing any options. Plugins always help with what the original developer may have left out. They extend usefulness current functionality of the application. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Its a simple chat application which can be used for internal communication in office. We can easily connect with our colleagues in office and discuss about the issues instantly over messages. The best thing is that we can create a private conference room for our team and set a password for the conference. Its user friendly and easy to use. It also has bookmark feature which can instantly take you the saved pages in browser. We can also store the conversation history so that important messages can be accessed back easily. It doesn't have much emoji and font styles. It would be better if they could add some more emoji and font styles to it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
With Spark, you can categorize your colleagues based on position or department. There is also a chatroom function that you can utilize for different groups of employees or for temporary projects so that all members are in one chat room. There are also a limited set of emojis. You can customize the layout and color scheme as well. Lastly, there is a function which allows you to grab someone's attention by causing the chat window to go to the top and "shake" the screen. Although you can customize the layout and design, it still looks like something from Windows 2000. A video chat function would be a great addition as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that with Spark I am able to instant message a coworker allowing for faster communication Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is nothing that I dislike about Spark Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This product is totally free! Spark integrates very well with your AD and makes logging very easy. Our company uses this as our sole IM application. There are some useful add-ons that allow you to do some auditing too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not much to dislike about this application. Maybe the rollout of updates. Again, this is freeware so not a big issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
